Ubicación, ubicación, ubicación .... Esta casa tiene la ubicación perfecta. Situado justo encima del aeropuerto, y convenientemente ubicado entre la ciudad y las hermosas playas de la costa de Kona, encontrará que puede disfrutar de lo mejor de Kona en cualquier dirección en un corto trayecto de 15 a 20 minutos en automóvil.

Esta casa es un lugar ideal para los compertores de Ironman, ya que ofrece un fácil acceso para la capacitación. También contamos con amplio espacio de almacenamiento para su equipo.

Moverse
La Isla Grande se experimenta mejor con un coche de alquiler, ya que la mayoría de las atracciones se alcanzan en vehículo. Las principales compañías de alquiler de autos están ubicadas en el aeropuerto de KOA y solo a minutos de la casa.

All the little extras, a small cooler, indoor toys for the kids and beach toys. Quiet neighborhood. Clean and welcoming home. Washer and dryer was a big plus! Only thing to consider is the bunk beds are right next to front door, which still worked out for us when we switched places with the kids with a couple of adults. Great place to stay and would definitely recommend

Devorah and Greg were amazing hosts and this home really worked well for our family with little ones! They loved playing with the toys, reading the kids books and using the sand toys at the beach. The house, which is in a quiet residential neighborhood, was well appointed and comfortable. Will definitely stay again in the future!

Great place for family vacation!

Debbie and Gregg's place was an absolute dream for our beach getaway! The house was not only spacious and comfortable but also beautifully decorated with a cozy feel. The pool was a refreshing retreat after a day at the beach, and having all the beach amenities provided made our stay incredibly convenient. Debbie and Gregg were such warm and welcoming hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. We can't wait to come back!

Perfect location, just as described! Lots of convenient provisions

The location was ideal, equal distant from everything! There were also lots of beach items available for our use: coolers, umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear, even water shoes! That made our logistics so much easier. The place was clean, super nice, comfortable, and so welcoming. Very aloha. Mahalo!

The Best things come in small packages

We were slightly apprehensive that a 2 bedroom could fit 2 families; but it did! We had the best time! There was so much space! The pool was an added bonus and the treats and hospitality of the hosts were amazing! 10/10 would stay here again! Mahalo Debbie and Greg!

Great Place and Value

We stayed here for 7 nights with our family of 7. The space was pleanty big for our family and we loved the spacious kitchen. We were also thankful for all the supplies provided-beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, coolers and more. The backyard was also very nice with the pool. We also found the location to be convenient for our many island adventures. We would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the Big Island, definitely an amazing value.

Great Kona stay

We loved staying here. We had 9 people with us of all ages. We had enough room and everything we needed. My son lived swimming in the pool and we enjoyed all the beach supplies. We had a 2 year old and he had a highchair, toys and books to keep him Happy. The host is very nice and leaves treats for you. She was easy to communicate with.

Perfect place for us!

This was exactly what we needed! Large property, plenty of space for our family to stretch out. The kitchen in particular was fantastic! The hosts were incredibly gracious and left us some Hawaiian goodies for our arrival. Everything was well thought out and they provided everything a vacationing family would need, and even lent us extra beach toys and towels. There was also a pool, grill, and tree house! The neighborhood was quiet and close to the airport and everything we were doing. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

The place is worth the price

Outdoor tub is not working. Several ceiling lights are busted, no proper dining table except high counter top eating area. Random queen bed located in the door entrance, but lots of beach stuff and chairs available to us. Kitchen and toilets are well kept. Overall, the place is worth the price.

Great hosts! Home well supplied with towels, beach equipment, games to cover all needs. Deb had Kona coffee, fruit and Hawaiian bread waiting for our arrival. Very pet friendly. Availability of pool was great, but spa was not operational during our stay. We did not use grill but it was available. Only 1 bedroom had unit AC and the far bedroom remained warm at night. Beds are soft, our personal preference is for firm but overall had a wonderful 3 night stay!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. Although it was nothing fancy or upscale, everything we needed was there. The beds were comfortable and loved the outdoor patio to enjoy. The pool isn't heated & wasn't super clean so we weren't able to use it. We didn't know the owners live in the upstairs flat. It didn't affect us at all, but I think its good information to know before booking. Its away from the hustle & bustle of people. Its in a great location to explore any part of the island. Mahalo!

Great family residence above Kona

My family of four stayed here for two weeks. House was very well stocked with everything you could imagine. Pool toys, snorkels, beach gear, et al. Hottub was very nice in the evening, and the pool was great during the day. Quiet neighborhood. Didnt need the AC at all, cooled down very nicely in the evening, and the occasional shower in the afternoon was a nice change. The sky on a moonless night were probably my fav. The milky way is very visible, and so many stars than you're used to seeing in the city. No need to drive up to Mauna Kea when you have this is in the backyard.

Awesome place!

Like the title says; Awesome Place! The check in process was easy and very well communicated. We were given instructions in advance and had no issues getting settled in. We were greeted with a wonderful gift of fresh fruit, Hawaiian bread and local chocolates! Leading up to our stay every question we asked was answered very quickly. Debbie and Greg were perfect hosts! They provided beach chairs, umbrellas, ice chests, even toys for the kids to use and games! The house sleeps 8 easily. We had 10, including 2 children under 10 years old and managed with no issues. There is one bathroom, but we knew that going in and made it work just fine. The location was perfect for us. Just 10 minutes or so from the airport (KOA). We spent every day exploring the island from the north end to the south end and all points in between. I highly recommend Debbie and Greg's place for your Hawaii vacation! If we ever get the chance to visit the big island again we will definitely use Debbie and Greg's place!

Home away from home

Overall our stay was great. We needed a comfortable home base for our two kids (7 & 10) and Debbie & Greg’s place delivered. The kids loved the pool and the cozy living room. The neighbourhood was nice and only 10-15 mins from town & airport. We did find we ended up doing a lot of driving because there are no shops or restaurants in walking distance. Debbie & Greg were very responsive and were quick to fix an issue with the wifi during our stay. I will lay out the pros & cons. Pros: -lots of room, nice kitchen, the backyard to ourselves with a pool was awesome (the owners live upstairs). -plenty of towels, shampoo etc. -ceiling fans in every room -nice TV with satellite -lots of parking available - nice quiet neighbourhood -water cooler -larger beds Cons: -when we first arrived the floors were not very clean. All surfaces were very clean, as was the bathroom. -apparently it was millipede season and it was evident. When we arrived there were a few dead ones around on the floor. -generally the place needs a big full clean (walls, cupboards, cabinets, under beds etc). -the master bedroom at the back with a king bed smelled a bit musty and the bed is very soft (older mattress). -middle bed is kind of in the hall next to the bathroom which might be a problem for some (it was fine for us). -the drier needs a new element since it wasn’t really drying anything. I did mention the cleanliness issues to Debbie as I know she uses a cleaning service. She assured me she was getting a different cleaning service.

A cozy Kona hideaway

The Hawaiian bread, Kona coffee, and fruit and treats welcomed us upon our arrival. Tucked in a quiet neighborhood, we found the property spacious and cozy with everything we needed. Owners were also very responsive to our queries/requests. Will not hesitate to recommend.

Home base on the Big Island

This is a really spacious 2 bedroom home close to the Kona airport, yet in a quiet residential neighborhood. It has a huge kitchen and living room, and space to sleep several more people than the four adults in my group. There is a new sectional sofa (not pictured) that is super comfortable. For a bigger group, the bottleneck might be the single bathroom. A great bonus is the swimming pool that is exclusively for this rental, and the rest of the yard with gas grill and outdoor seating. This was my first time visiting the Big Island, and I hope to repeat yearly. I would happily rent this property again.
