The location is great, near restaurants, old town and the station. Communication with the hosts very easy. They are friendly and extremely helpful.

Stunning location

This is a beautiful property with lots of charm and a stunning balcony with views along the coast of Cinque Terre. Daniela and Antonello were lovely to deal with and promptly answered any of our queries. The steps up to the property can be challenging but are rewarded by the beautiful views. We had a great time in Monterosso al Mare and would return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Vacation

My wife and I brought our kids and stayed here for our 20th anniversary. It did not disappoint! The view was stunning and had everything we needed. Communication was easy. It was a hike to get up all the stairs but so worth it! We would definitely stay again if we can

I picked the place because of the view After learning a bit about the owner …. It made it more special Owner went out of their way to make us welcome and provided a special anniversary welcome as well We’re surprised at the stairs but adapted quickly Would stay there again !!

Stairway to Heaven

Yes, t are 170 steps up to this place and it is so worth it. The view from the terrace is incredible. If you want to hike you are right near the train station making for easy access to the different trails and towns. The owner is extremely kind and we absolutely loved our stay here.

Perfection in Cinque Terre

This was our first trip to Cinque Terre and we feel so fortunate to have found this perfect place in Monterosso al Mare. Antonello and Daniela are such gracious hosts. The location and accommodations were perfect. (The stairs are well worth the amazing view from the spacious deck!) Mille grazie Antonello and Daniela!

Fantastic apartment

This is a perfect place to enjoy all of cinqueterre. Yes, there are a lot of steps to climb to get to the apartment, but that comes with being in Cinqueterre. The views from the terrace are unique, you can see all other four towns. The train station and old Monterosso are just around the corner. We (a family of five) will certainly go back.

Charming, small apartment.

Monterosso is lovely. View from apartment is wonderful. The 170 steps to get there (basically a 13 story walk up) is challenging and prevented friends from wanting to join on the nice deck. This is for the young and very fit.

Great views

Views are really nice as is the location. Being right across from the beach was a benefit as it gets booked quickly. The host was very responsive even when our son left the key inside the place, locking us out. The one challenge we had was the heat. The inside temp of the place, with the windows open, was 28 C at night. And while there were ceiling fans, they don’t help when it is that hot.

Has to be one of the best views in all Cinque Terre from the balcony

Very spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen and amazing balcony with wonderful view of all the Cinque Terre towns and old world feel. Lots of steps up to the apartment, as in all Cinque Terre, but well worth it for the view. My wife and I spent five nights here and were very comfortable. We were met at the train station (just down the street) by Andrea and Donatella who were very helpful and gave us all the information we needed. The apartment is nice and quiet and looks down on the beach of Monterosso Al Mare. There is a restaurant just down stairs and many others along the street. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Amazing terrace, hot apartment

Location, terrace & view 10/10 Apartment 6/10 The terrace is wonderful, very large with a nice assortment of seating options, including a dining table with 6 chairs which was lovely for eating dinner in. The views are incredible, yes, it is up 170 steep stairs but that was not an issue for us as the terrace and views were worth the climb. The apartment itself was incredibly hot, even at night (there is no AC, only ceiling fans in the bedrooms which we found didn’t make much difference). It is small but looks just as it appears in the pictures (but a lot of clutter / stuff makes it feel a bit smaller). Although it is well stocked, it was few missing staples (ex. there was no toaster). Overall, it is a great place, the host was great and we absolutely loved Cinque Terre!

Incredible view of the sea!

The view at this home is beyond incredible, and the large deck has a dining space and comfortable chairs for reading and relaxing. The major fault from our end was that the 180 stairs to reach the apartment weren’t mentioned. We reached out to confirm the day before arrival and were told of the stairs. We never could have gotten our luggage up. They were able to find a young man to help, whom we paid to take them up and back down on the day we left. The home also needs updating, seemed dusty- bothered our allergies and had the smallest shower we’ve ever seen. All that being said, the location in town was wonderful, the views incredible, but the stairs were prohibitive. We went down once and up once a day. No running back out for dinner or gelato. Limited our options during our week stay.

Amazing Stay in Monterosso

Daniela's place was great. All of the amenities we needed were available (ie. full kitchen, washing machine, microwave, iron/board). Location is right next to the train station that stops right on the beach strip of Monterosso. Daniela's husband met us at the station and walked us to their place where we also met Daniela. They proceeded to show us their home and provided some local suggestions which is always very helpful. Yes, as others mention, there many steps to get up to their place but you acclimate and it's so worth it.... because the view is just unbelievable and unbeatable! Wow, is all I can say, as concurred with my family. The very large ocean side patio gives you sights and ocean sounds that make you want to never leave. I spent every meal and moment while at their place, day or night, out there just soaking it up. But wait, there's more, lol. Monterosso is the only town of entire Cinque Terre with an actual large strip of beach and it's just down the stairs from Daniela's place. On the same strip/boarded there are many offerings (ie. restaurants, pastry shop, gelato, small grocery shop, etc.). And just a few minutes walk down the boardwalk, you will find the historic village with various offerings and charming atmosphere. You're also only a train pass away from easily exploring the rest of the Cinque Terre towns as we did, as well as visiting La Spezia. I hope you too can get the opportunity to stay at Daniela's to enjoy Monterosso as we did!

Atemberaubender Blick von grandioser Terrasse

Wunderbare Wohnung in idealer Lage für alle Touren der Cinque Terre! Weit oben kann man einen traumhaften Blick über alle 5 Orte genießen und auch Ruhe von dem Trubel an der Küste finden. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll gestaltet und bietet alles, was für die Zeit des Aufenthalts benötigt wird. Und auch der Sandstrand ist direkt vor Ort :-) Wir werden die wundervollen Tage hier in bester Erinnerung behalten!

Great place, with an super view

We, family with three kids (16,14,11) had an fantastic holiday. We did some amazing hiking tours, we enjoyed the beach / sea. And ofcourse the cinceterre towns. The appartment was nice, especially the teras with the amazing view. We wil recommend the appartment.
