Casita de cuento en un en...

Casita de cuento en un entorno relajante ideal para desconectar. La casa está amueblada con gusto con mobiliario en perfecto estado , en general bien equipada . Los propietarios aunque viven en la propiedad son muy discretos y muy amables, en fin unas vacaciones para repetir.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Gianna and her family were so nice and welcoming! I don't usually stay at properties where the family also stays, but I'm so glad I did this time! My husband and I loved the views and I made dinner in the loft kitchen twice using the fresh herbs Gianna had growing. She was so generous and left us food staples to make dinner and it really came in handy the first night when we realized that we would rather drink wine outside than go out to dinner! One thing to note about this area (and most places we visited in Italy), is the restaurant hours. Many places only open for dinner and that starts around 7pm. Lunch is over at 3pm and most places close from 3pm-7pm. Everything was perfect for our stay and the area is lovely.

Gianna far exceeded my expectations. The house was the perfect get away for my vacation. The property was well maintained and the view was breathtaking. She gave me some helpful pointers on how to get around town safely and was always available to answer any questions. I had the privilege to roam and explore her property where olive trees and other fauna thrived due to her tentative care. My home was clean and equipped with everything I needed. I was even welcomed with a bottle of wine and olive oil from the orchard! Thanks you Gianna and family for your warm hospitality, It will always be something to remember! I’ll definitely be back

This is the place to stay away from crowds and experience the local flare of Tuscany and Firenza region. Villa was lovely, safe, and as described online. We enjoyed the location to Florence and surrounding villages. Go to the town of Saltino, 25 minutes from the villa, for an incredible drive, view, and food, or try Tenuta Risalpiano for another restaurant new the villa. Overall, this was an incredible place to stay, relax, and enjoy the views.

Das Ferienhaus ist eine absolute Empfehlung. Wir waren 10 Tage mit unserem kleinen Hund dort und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Es war ruhig und gemütlich alles ist sehr gepflegt. Zur Begrüßung gab es Verpflegung für den ersten Tag und andere Aufmerksamkeiten. Alles ist sehr liebevoll hergerichtet. Der Garten war für unseren Hund super und die Gastgeberin sowie ihre Familie waren immer freundlich und haben sich erkundigt ob wir etwas benötigen. Sie konnten uns gute Tipps geben was wir in der Umgebung unternehmen können. Der Pool war toll und viel größer als wir anhand der Fotos vermutet hatten. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach traumhaft. Gianna und ihre Familie waren super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben sogar regelmäßig frisches Gemüse aus dem Garten bekommen und auch unser Hund wurde total herzlich empfangen. Sowohl das Haus, als auch der Garten Pool waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Außerdem haben wir tolle Empfehlungen für Ausflüge & Essen bekommen. Wir hätten uns den Urlaub kaum schöner vorstellen können und würden jeder Zeit wieder buchen.

We had two wonderful weeks with our dog. The hostess is already waiting for you upon arrival. Just in case you haven't had time to do your grocery shopping yet, there's already everything you need to make breakfast or pasta. Fresh vegetables from her garden are also ready for you. The cottage is authentically furnished and equipped with air conditioning, which was definitely needed. It's wonderfully peaceful, and the pool is cleaned every morning. The whole family is incredibly friendly, and the cottage was fantastic. In short, a very successful holiday, highly recommended!

Wonderful Stay

It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful area. The house is very clean and has everything you need for your everyday life. Gianna was a very warm host. She gave us her homemade olive oil and fresh vegetables from her own garden. It was very delicious. She also had useful tips about other beautiful towns in Tuscany that aren't visited by too many tourists.We would love to return to this wonderful holiday home. Lovely people and location

Gianna and her family were so welcoming, friendly and helpful and did everything possible to ensure that we were having a great holiday, from suggestions for restaurants to sights to see. Gianna was always available, but not intrusive. We enjoyed a lovely welcome pack, including a bottle of her own olive oil, wine and beer, plus essentials such as milk, butter and eggs. The garden had lovely views across the valley and to the hills beyond. The kitchen was well equipped, though without an oven which wasn't a problem for us. The spiral staircase from the living room down to the bedroom and bathroom, though quaint, may be a problem for people with mobility problems. A car is essential to get around, including to the railway station at Pontassieve [10 minutes drive and free parking] for journeys to Florence and beyond, saving the hassle of parking in town. It would also be convenient to drive to Siena, which is well worth seeing, but can also be reached by train. We found a great restaurant just off this carpark called Bastian Contirario, plus another in Pelago called Leonia Bistrot. Both reasonably priced.We would thoroughly recommend staying at La Casina with Gianna.

Super Host

We had the most wonderful stay. Every thing is there plus some extras! Bottle of wine ,oil, coffee, milk the host also gave us eggs.There was also fresh flowers a lovely touch. Gianna was so helpful telling us places to visit and restaurants to eat at. You will not find a better host she really made us feel at home. We hope that one day we will be able to return.

Séjour à la casina

Nous avons passé un super séjour de 7 jours dans cette belle petite casa. Nous avons été tellement bien reçus par des hôtes très accueillants. Ils ont eu plein de petites attentions à notre égard pendant tout le séjour. Je vois recommande fortement cette casa si vous appréciez la tranquillité et une vue superbe

Vacation time in the Tuscany Region

This VRBO and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The herbs growing along the wall, the olive trees and beautiful potted flowers just add to the ambiance. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. A rental car is needed for the area.

Un petit coin de paradis

Deuxième séjour dans cette maisonnette pour ma famille . Gianna est discrète et disponible à la fois , très arrangeante et prévenante (légumes et œufs fournis à la demande , petit set de départ bien complet ). La maison est bien équipée pour sa taille la piscine plus grande qu'on ne le croit d'après photo .

Walking Holiday and Touring Holiday

Our host greeted us most warmly and treated us with kindness and consideration throughout our 2 week stay. The pool was very welcome in the warm weather and the accommodation was excellent . We had a lovely holiday .

The nicest host in Italy

What a pleasant and exceptionally helpful host Gianna is. Property is located on a small farm, you will feel part of the family. It is quite compact so really best suited for a couple. Property is ideally placed for travel around Tuscany, esp Florence, . The local train station is only a few kms away. Many thanks Gianna, we especially enjoyed the fresh eggs and Garden produce.

Wundervoll!

Wirklich tolle Unterkunft mit sehr liebenswerter Gastgeberin. Wir waren super zufrieden und haben sogar Salat aus dem eigenen Gemüsegarten bekommen. Bei Ankunft lag alles da für ein Abendessen und sogar eine Flasche Chianti. Den Pool hatten wir ganz für uns, der Garten ist wunderschön! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wunderbar

Wir durften 10 Tage bei Gianna auf ihren Grundstück verbringen .. Sie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin hatte auch für den ersten Tag Verpflegung bereit gestellt .. Wein Spagetti, Olivenöl usw. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt .. Nur wer was gegen bellende Hunde hat( sie hat eine kleine Zucht mit etwa 20 Hunden ) für denjenigen is es vielleicht nichts.. Uns hat es überhaupt nicht gestört zumal sie ja auch täglich ins Umzäunte Freigelände dürfen.. Ein rundum toller Ort um Urlaub zu machen …

Wunderschön

Wir haben Gianna und ihre Familie in der Vorsaison besucht. Toll, mit wieviel Hingabe und Liebe der Hof gepflegt wird. Das Appartement hat Alles was man braucht. Dank der wunderschönen Umgebung macht sich sofort Urlaubs-Feeling breit. Gianna und ihre Familie ist immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfekter Ort zum Herunterfahren!

Wir (2 Personen) waren für knapp 2 Wochen in dem Landhaus und haben es zu 100% genossen! Anreise: "Check-In" war problemlos, alles sehr sauber, insbesondere auch Bad und Küche, alles Wissenswerte gut vorbereitet in einem großen Ordner. Wir kamen an einem Vor-Feiertag, und Gianna - unsere Gastgeberin - hatte vorausschauend ein paar Basics zum Kochen eingekauft, weil ja die Geschäfte nicht offen haben würden - wow! Haus: der Wohn-/Essbereich ist auch der Eingangsbereich - 1 großer Raum mit Couch und Esstisch. Für unseren Aufenthalt im November ein wichtiger Raum; im Sommer wird man sicher mehr draußen sein. Nach oben geht's zur Galerie = Küche. Voll ausgestattet - lediglich einen Backofen gibt es nicht. Wir haben ausgiebig gekocht - Töpfe, Pfannen etc. waren ausreichend vorhanden. Über eine schmale Wendeltreppe geht es nach unten ins Schlafzimmer und ins Bad. Gerade bei der An-/Abreise ist es hilfreich, dass man auch von außen dort hin gelangt; im Alltag bleibt die Treppe - und die ist wirklich schmal. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen; das Bad ist klein aber ausreichend; großzügige Schränke - damit man nicht aus dem Koffer leben muss - sind vorhanden. Umgebung: Man ist "ab vom Schuss"; wir fanden das super. Mit dem Zug ist man von Pontassieve in 20 Minuten mitten in Florenz, ansonsten mit dem Auto schnell "überall". Ausdrücklich hervorzuheben ist die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberin Gianna. Wir haben viel über den Anbau von Oliven gelernt - vielen Dank auch dafür!
