Welcome to Chalet L’Alpaga, a large and charming chalet in a peaceful location in the heart of Morillon village, within the Grand Massif ski area—the fourth-largest ski area in the French Alps—linking Flaine, Les Carroz, Samoëns, Sixt and Morillon.

With 8 bedrooms, 8 private bath or shower rooms, spacious living areas, a private Finnish sauna and an authentic Bonzini table-football game, the chalet is ideal for bringing together several families or a group of friends in comfortable and welcoming surroundings. Maximum capacity: 15 guests.

The chalet offers approximately 300 sqm of total usable floor space, including around 230 sqm of living accommodation and two double garages of 35 sqm each.

EVERYTHING WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE

The chalet enjoys an exceptionally convenient location for a largely car-free holiday:

* village centre and shops: approximately 150 m;
* tourist office: approximately 100 m;
* Morillon gondola: approximately 400 m;
* Lac Bleu leisure park and lake: approximately 500 m.

The gondola takes you to Morillon 1100 in just a few minutes, where you will find the ski-school meeting points, the Piou-Piou children’s ski area and the main slopes of the ski area.

A blue run also descends towards the village, ending just 50 m from the chalet.

Morillon is a charming and authentic Haute-Savoie village, lively throughout the year, family-friendly and enjoyable in every season. With the village centre, shops, gondola and Lac Bleu all nearby, you can make the most of your stay while greatly reducing the need to use a car.

INTERIOR COMFORT AND FACILITIES

Inside, the chalet has a warm Alpine atmosphere, combining stone, brushed heat-treated wood, two wood-burning stoves, coordinated furnishings, high-quality bedding, matching curtains and carefully designed lighting.

The chalet provides:

* 8 bedrooms;
* 8 private bath or shower rooms: 6 en suite and 2 private rooms located just across the landing;
* a genuine private Finnish sauna;
* an authentic Bonzini café-style table-football game;
* high-speed fibre Wi-Fi;
* 2 televisions with satellite TV;
* 2 fully equipped kitchens;
* 2 dishwashers;
* 2 conventional ovens and 2 microwave ovens;
* a Nespresso machine using original-style capsules and a filter coffee machine;
* raclette and fondue sets;
* a large-capacity electric ski-boot dryer;
* 2 travel cots;
* 2 high chairs.

All these facilities are included and reserved exclusively for guests staying at the chalet.

PARKING AND OUTDOOR AREAS

The chalet has two double garages with electric doors, providing 4 covered parking spaces, as well as several additional private parking spaces in the courtyard.

The private grounds can accommodate approximately 6 to 7 vehicles in total.

In summer, guests can also enjoy a south-facing outdoor dining area for 15 people and a 58 cm Weber charcoal barbecue.

WINTER: EASY ACCESS TO THE GRAND MASSIF SKI AREA

The chalet is located in the village of Morillon, within the Grand Massif ski area.

The gondola is approximately 400 m away and easily accessible on foot, providing quick access to Morillon Les Esserts and the main slopes.

Guests staying at the chalet benefit from discounts on ski hire at Twinner, located approximately 200 m from the chalet and close to the gondola.

SUMMER: LAC BLEU AND THE GIFFRE VALLEY

In summer, the chalet is ideally located just 500 m from the Lac Bleu leisure park, which offers a wide range of family activities:

* supervised beach;
* swimming;
* tennis;
* beach volleyball;
* fishing;
* treetop adventure course;
* organised activities and entertainment;
* trampoline;
* mini-golf;
* children’s playground;
* pony rides;
* activities for children.

The Giffre Valley also offers numerous nearby outdoor activities:

* mountain biking;
* nature reserves;
* rafting;
* canyoning;
* canoeing;
* horse riding;
* mountain walks.

INCLUDED SERVICES AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Rental rates include:

* beds made on arrival;
* bath towels and hand towels;
* a personal welcome at the chalet.

Compulsory end-of-stay cleaning is charged at €250.

Tourist tax is payable separately. Its amount is calculated according to the rental price and is currently 5% of the rent; children are exempt.

Meal delivery to the chalet by a local caterer can be arranged.

LENGTH OF STAY

During the winter and summer seasons, the chalet is available for weekly rentals only. Weekend bookings cannot therefore be accepted during these periods.

In spring and autumn, weekend breaks and short stays of at least 2 nights are available.

Indicative rates for short stays:

* €1,340 for 2 nights;
* €250 per additional night;
* excluding Abritel/Vrbo platform fees.

For weekend breaks and short stays, departure is generally possible until 5 pm, subject to availability, as there is usually no new arrival scheduled for the same day.

Much to our regret, dogs and cats cannot be accepted, as several members of our family are allergic to animal hair. We kindly ask guests not to request exceptions regarding pets.
