Nous avons passé un bon séjour, très proche du centre ville. Le stationnement sur Aix-en-Provence est majoritairement payant, c'est là le hic !!

Good Location

The best thing about this apartment is the location. It is within walking distance of Cours Mirabeau, the tourist office and the local sights. However, the apartment is in need of a deep clean. There are years of grease on the extractor fan in the kitchen area, cracked dishes and bowls; the air conditioning might work better if the dust was cleaned from the vents. The walls need a coat or two of new paint. The host Patrice was very nice but the apartment needs more attention to make it appealing.

Short Title

Super location, but unit getting a little tired and crying out for some fresh paint and a deep clean especially around/above the kitchen extractor and room vents. However super host and would recommend - we would like to return next time we are in Aix!.

Tolle Lage, tolle Stadt

Einfache, ruhige kleine Wohnung in idealer Lage um die wunderschöne Stadt Aix und deren Umgebung zu erkunden. Das öffentliche Verkehrssystem ist sehr gut! Die Abwicklung vor Ort ist unkompliziert und freundlich. Gerne wieder.

Convenient Location

We chose this apartment because it was located close to the local railway station and because it was also very close to the town centre. Aix-en-Provence was a lovely place and we enjoyed our stay there. The apartment is two small rooms plus a bathroom, but was just perfect for our short stay.

A Small Flat

The flat ( 2 small rooms plus bath) is conveniently located near the train and bus station. Located on the 4th floor of a modern building with a busy parking garage below, the flat looks out on a Lycée playing field and has a glimpse of Mt. St. Victoire. If the previous tenants have cleaned, it should be habitable with its simple facilities and Ikea furnishings. To avoid surprise, renters should expect an on-the-spot cash payment for security deposit. The owner was helpful, offering to rent the flat to us for extra days after our flight was cancelled during the Air France strike.

What a Great Location

First the apartment. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and so close to the Cours Mirabeau it's a five minute walk to either the Cours itself or to the Rotunda for the Tourist Office. It's a 10 - 15 minute walk from the bus station and perhaps a bit less to the rail station (but not the TGV which is about 15 km outside Aix but still served by the Navette /shuttle bus). Our host not only made sure we were met at the apartment to show us how to access and leave and the main facilities but then walked us to the centre pointing out how to get where and ended up buying us a much needed drink in Les Deux Garcons. As for Aix itself, I love it. I would definitely use this apartment again and recommend it to others (but not for when we want to go!!).

Perfect Spot

This apartment was just right. It is in a great location--convenient to center of town as well as transportation to and from town. Aix is a wonderful place to explore and close to so many other places to visit--Cassis, Marseilles and the beautiful countryside. The apartment is in a safe and nicely kept building. The owner was very nice and helpful and made the arrangements to meet at the apartment and leave the apartment very easy. The apartment could have been a bit cleaner, but other than that it was perfect. I would be happy to stay there again. Thanks so much!

Appartamento bellissimo, molto pulito, bagno e cucina appena ristrutturati, confortevole e con tutti gli elettrodomestici, nel pieno centro di Aix. Parcheggio sotto casa e proprietaria Carine veramente gentile. Ottimo punto di partenza per scoprire la meravigliosa Provenza.

Séjour à Aix au TOP

Studio très agréable et calme malgré la proximité des sites touristiques et des commerces. Ce fut un réel plaisir de pouvoir tout faire à pied ( gare, restos , boutiques, musées,... ) pour découvrir cette magnifique ville d'Aix en Provence. Le studio est en effet joliment décoré comme l'indique l'annonce mais il est aussi très bien aménagé et équipé. On y trouve tous les ustensiles utiles dans la cuisine. Et au niveau multimédia , une enceinte bluetooth m'a permis d'écouter la musique de mon téléphone et j'ai aussi pu profiter d'une très bonne connexion internet en wifi pour mon activité professionnelle. Merci au propriétaire accueillant. Je reviendrai sûrement.

Na ja ....

Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut. In wenigen Minuten ist man in der Innenstadt. Der Bahnhof ist ebenfalls in der Nähe und auch der Busbahnhof ist in 5-7 min zu erreichen. Der Vermieter war pünktlich zur Schlüsselübergabe (abends um 22.15 Uhr - TGV aus Deutschland) da und hat uns freundlich empfangen. Die Wohnung ist hell und ruhig gelegen. Auf den benachbarten Sportplätzen war kein Betrieb, da Schulferien waren. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten haben uns doch etwas verärgert: Obwohl es sich um eine Nichtraucherwohnung handelt, hatte der Vermieter vor unserer Ankunft in der Wohnung geraucht. Der Mülleimer war nicht geleert, die Betten waren nicht bezogen und es war kein Toilettenpapier vorhanden. Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung, die Küchenausstattung auch. Das Bad war auch o.k. Das WLan-Netz funktionierte leider überhaupt nicht. Insgesamt kann man sich in der Wohnung wohl fühlen, wenn man keine allzu großen Ansprüche stellt. Beate S.

Très bien.

Nous avons déjà loué deux fois cet appartement, très bien situé, à deux pas du centre ville. Il est fonctionnel (globalement bien équipé, accessible par ascenseur, climatisé, au calme... ) avec une belle vue. Deux petits bémols : la connexion internet ne fonctionnait pas lorsque nous y étions, et le canapé du salon était mou. Les propriétaires se sont toujours montrés disponibles, en amont de la location et afin d'effectuer les remises de clefs, ce qui est appréciable lorsqu'on voyage. N'hésitez-pas, vous vous sentirez vite en confiance...

"The apartment was perfect for my needs. I wanted to be close to town and all amenities, and it did not disappoint. The building is modern, clean and quiet. "Lovely apartment, very clean, very safe as you needed a code to activate the lift, perfect location, owners were most helpful with information before and on our arrival and had very good english. I would definitely stay in this apartment again. The only thing is there is a school underneath the flat which didn't bother us as we were early risers but kids were in the school yard before 8am most mornings which might be a negative for those out late and wanting a lie in!! Lovely park, Parc du Jardin, just across the road which was very peaceful. Close to the bus station, train station and the mains streets of Aix."

"L''appartamento e'' conf...

"L''appartamento e'' confortevole al 100%, molto tranquillo e veramente a due passi dal centro. In più ha una vista stupenda sulla St.Victoire. Io e Michela ci siamo trovati benissimo, perfetta sistemazione anche per chi ha animali come noi. Se volete vedervi Aix a piedi in piena libertà e magari farvi qualche passeggiata intorno alla St.Victoire, beh questo appartamento fa per voi. Saluti."
