Claudio and the house was amazing. Highly recommend this place. The kids loves it and the family enjoyed the wonderful views from the many terrasses. The Road to the House is a little slim, but nothing we didn’t get used to quickly after a few drives.

excellent experience in Pieve Camaiore 5 di 5 staying at the villa Charme Toscana was an excellent experience. The villa is spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor dining area is large with a very high quality lounge area and the pool area is relaxing and inviting. We enjoyed many outdoor meals and really enjoyed the atmophere at the villa. The hosts were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay special and full of great memories.

Beautiful!

Wow! What a place! The view is something that I've never quite seen before. The gardens and house is both kept immaculate. There is quite a steep road to access any shops or restaurants, so a car is highly recommended. We were lucky that we found good, reliable taxis to help us get around and some of us actually enjoyed the walk into Camaiore. We did have a small issue with the pool whilst we were there but Claudio came immediately and rectified it as best he could. Again, checking in on us the following day. A holiday we will remember for a lifetime. Thank you!

Lovely property and very peaceful

Claudio was an amazing host. He responded so quickly with any questions or issues. He was so kind and attentive to keeping everything nice. The only issue was that the road going up to the Villa is quite tricky and very narrow. Luckily we had a driver and a taxi for our use, but to go anywhere in Italy we have realized that many roads are very narrow and winding. The Pizza place close by was amazing. We were there with our German friends and it was nice that they could stay upstairs and we were downstairs for good privacy. The air conditioner worked very well. Pool was well maintained everyday by Claudio. They had beautiful gardens with fruit trees. True Tuscany experience .

Beautiful stay in the Mountains

This was a beautiful villa with lots of space and a really nice layout with the pool positioned at the top of the house with incredible views to the ocean. The road up to the property was very narrow (one lane but two direction, so you had to pull over or back up if another car approached), which made us reluctant to eat out at night and face the drive up the hill afterward. However, it was so nice at the villa, we were happy to cook there in the evenings and enjoy dinner al fresco by the pool or at the front of the house. The chef Andrea made a magnificent dinner for my sister on her birthday, complete with chocolate cake. Air conditioning in all bedrooms was welcome. The kitchen was well stocked, but was lacking salt, pepper, oil, coffee, things that are generally available at a villa, in my experience. However, the property manager, who was very friendly and accommodating, provided a lovely bottle of wine and fresh fruit on our arrival, whcih was greatly appreciated after flight delays and the drive to the villa!

A full week of relax in Versilia

Without a doubt the best vacation week of our fifty plus years! And though aged just 17-23, our four children who joined us wholeheartedly agreed. What an amazing villa Claudio Salvini provides in the hills above Camaiore with a spectacular westward view to the Sea. This is a truly beautiful property, and though it has an old world feel it has every modern amenity to make your stay both luxurious and relaxing. The pool, the gardens, the privacy, the large beautiful rooms, every amenity -- all make this a great value and worth every penny. Claudio is the perfect owner as well: responsive, thoughtful and truly helpful in making our stay a memorable one. We loved the location, slightly off the tourist-beaten path, yes, but well worth it. A 7 minute drive down the hill to Camaiore (a quaint and quiet town with very friendly and accommodating merchants), and 40 minutes or so to Pisa and Lucca. This was perfectly located for us, and a short drive up to the Carrara marble quarries and not much more than an hour to the Cinque Terre trains at La Spezia. A number of excellent wine tours nearby as well. Visiting in mid-June we had beautiful weather every single day -- but even if it rained we would hardly have noticed. A great day trip down the coast to Bolgheri and then inland back through Volterra is highly recommended. We ate dinner on the beautiful deck as the sun set on the Sea beyond Viareggio. Thank you to Claudio for making this a stay my family will never forget. --Nate R. Kheel

Eine super Unterkunft, die man nur jedem weiterempfehlen kann. Die Strecke zwischen Camaiore und der Unterkunft ist etwas abenteuerlich.

Perfektes Ferienhaus

Wir hatten zu siebt (4 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt hier! An die etwas steile und enge Straße zum Anwesen gewöhnt man sich nach 1-2 Fahrten. Sehr ruhig gelegen und tolle Gärten, Terassen und ein Pool, alles gut sichtgeschütz.

Schöne Lage, Heizung mit Zusatzkosten

Das Haus hat eine wirklich schöne Lage am Hang mit tollem Blick ins Tal von Camaiore und bis zum Meer. Man kann direkt hinter dem Haus zu Wanderungen in die Bergwelt starten. Garten und Pool sind zwar nicht riesig, aber gepflegt und bieten schöne Plätze zum Sitzen und Liegen. Es gibt auch einen Pizzaofen, in dem wir leckere Pizza gebacken haben. Innen ist das Haus sauber und ordentlich, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und das WLAN funktioniert. Eins der Schlafzimmer ist sehr klein und nur durch eine Schiebetür vom Wohnzimmer getrennt. Es gibt zwar eine Heizung, die im Oktober auch erforderlich war, aber dass dafür Zusatzkosten von 150 Euro pro Woche verlangt wurde, fanden wir unangemessen, zumal davon im Inserat nicht die Rede war. Die Anfahrt führt zwar von Camaiore über recht schmale Straßen, die aber alle asphaltiert sind und aus unserer Sicht unproblematisch befahrbar waren. Wir empfehlen aber allen Mietern, sich die Geokoordinaten oder die genaue Adresse für die Navigation geben zu lassen, denn die Anfahrtsbeschreibung ist nicht gut. Wir haben uns bei der Anreise mehrfach verfahren, bis wir schließlich das Haus gefunden haben.

Wonderful Stay

We spend two wonderful weeks in Claudios lovely house in Tuscany. The house looks and feels like the pictures shown and Claudio is a fantastic and super proactive host, e.g. we wanted to get some input for a chef (plan this early during summer, because people are booked out) and we needed a new bbq and he came immediately to build one up. I can confirm that the streets are very narrow, but after some turns it comes very natural and easy (we had a Volvo XC90 and it got close a couple of times, but we left without any marks on the car). Otherwise, have fun spending time in the house :-)

Trahmhafte Lage und Aussicht

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt: beginnend beim herzlichen Empfang durch Claudio, über das Haus, die Grösse und seine Lage. Ein traumhafter Ausblick von den beiden Terrassen sowie dem Pool. Das Meer und auch Städte wie Lucca, Pisa etc. sind innerhalb einer Stunde erreichbar. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Beautiful Villa in Tuscany

Had a lovely week in the hills of Tuscany. Amazing views of sea and surrounding communities in the hills. 8 people slept very comfortably. A car is mandatory and there are some very tight fits for the car on the drive up. Not for the feint of heart. Had a pizza dinner made for us in our Villa by Romina which was set up thru Claudio. Altogether a wonderful place to see Pisa, Lucca and Cinque Terre.

A place in the mountains

Spectacular views! A wonderful property. The road to the home was a bit scary, tight twist and turns. The home is beautiful but the bedding could be improved.

Lovely vacation home

Stunning location, beautiful home. The road to the home was tough in a couple places but managed well. We traveled as a family of 8, four children aged 4-11 and they had a blast in the pool daily and all the outdoor space!

Beautiful house with amazing view

The house and the host Claudio were amazing. It is located in the mountains so you can relax and enjoy the view. Only downside for us was that we thought we would be closer to the sea. However, this didn't matter since it overall was simply beautiful

While the road to the Villa is very challanging the Location and views are worth it.

Our stay was very enjoyable, while we did not spend much time at the Villa, as we were running around to see all that this area offers, the time we did spend there was very enjoyable Claudio was responsive when we had any issues and the location and views are extraordinary!
