¡¡GRAN OPORTUNIDAD DE VISITAR ROMA VIVIENDO EN EL CORAZÓN DE LA CIUDAD!!
Centro y corazón de Roma, cerca de todas las atracciones turísticas, en una de las zonas más bellas de Roma llena de tiendas, restaurantes, cafés históricos, un apartamento, muy luminoso, equipado con todas las comodidades con muebles bien acabados y recientemente renovados.
Consiste en :
-1 dormitorio con una cama queen size muy cómoda.
- 1 gran salón con 1 sofá cama doble, mesa de comedor con 4 sillas, sillón, mesa de trabajo, 1 TV, libros y juegos.
- 1 amplio baño con amplia ducha, lavadora, inodoro, bidé y lavabo, secador de pelo de pared, báscula y cómodas taquillas.
- 1 cocina independiente totalmente equipada para 4 personas, con lavavajillas, micro-horno doble función, cafetera, tetera, batidora.
- 1 amplio recibidor con perchero, puerta de entrada blindada.
- 1 pequeño balcón de servicio
El apartamento está ubicado en el segundo piso de un edificio en el centro histórico, sin ascensor pero con tramos de escaleras muy cómodos. La vista está en la calle peatonal. Un pequeño balcón de servicio se utiliza para secar una pequeña ropa y da a un patio.
El apartamento es adecuado tanto para parejas, personas solas y familias con niños. Una cuna está disponible de forma gratuita bajo petición previa.
- La comunidad LGBT es bienvenida.

- El apartamento está en el segundo piso sin ascensor.
- Obligación de declarar a la policía: debes enviar copias personales del pasaporte antes de tu llegada.

Debido a las recientes restricciones energéticas debido a la crisis de Rusia/Ucrania y el calentamiento global, el Municipio de Roma ha establecido plazos tanto para la calefacción como para el aire acondicionado que debemos cumplir para informar a nuestros huéspedes lo más posible:
- Calefacción según las normas del Municipio de Roma (tiempos y horarios - generalmente de noviembre a marzo, máximo 21C/70F )
- Aire Acondicionado: de acuerdo con las normas del Municipio de Roma (horarios y horas - dependiendo de la temporada min 24C/75F), el aire acondicionado debe apagarse con las ventanas abiertas, al salir del apartamento.
Sin embargo, el apartamento, gracias a los gruesos muros, siempre es muy cálido en invierno y muy fresco en verano, y las persianas también ayudan a mitigar el sol durante el calor del verano.

- Check-in: de 14 a 20 a convener.
IMPORTANTE: comunicar con antelación su hora de llegada al apartamento.

- Check out: máximo dentro de las 10 am. El apartamento debe dejarse en las mismas condiciones que a su llegada, (sin platos sucios en el fregadero y sin basura en el apartamento).

- Para estancias prolongadas (superiores a una semana) se facilitará al huésped la limpieza y cambio de sábanas y juego de toallas necesarios. No hay limpieza durante las estancias.

Perfecto, tiene todo lo que necesitas y ennuna ubivacion excelente, andando a todos los lados. Antonia muy amable y facilita la estancia mas que muchos otros propietarios que alquilan apartamentos.

Comfortable Roman apartment in a perfect location with a very responsive host Antonia, who is Roman and will help your stay be as comfortable and fun as possible. You will be close to all the tourist sites by walking, public transportation or taxi. Something to consider: the VRBO website pictures need updating because they were probably taken when the apartment was pristine and freshly painted. The bedroom cabinets are a bit worn now and so are all the windows. Overall, it was a cozy Roman apartment much like staying at your Nonna’s where everything is perfect even if it needs a little TLC. You will appreciate Antonia because she cares so much about her guests. Our family of three adults enjoyed our stay in Antonia’s apartment.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Our host Antonia was so helpful and gracious starting right after our booking. She contacted us with all types of amazing ideas for activities ranging from the things to see, not to miss experiences, restaurants and areas that offered spectacular views of the beautiful city of Rome. The apartment's location was perfect for us as it was central to anything we wanted to do and with the Metro a block away close to everything else. The apartment had everything we needed. The only thing we regret is that we didn't have more time. We highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Antonia's apartment. It is perfectly located in the heart of Rome, allowing us to walk to most all of the major sites we wanted to see. The apartment was clean and exactly what we needed for 2 adults. The bed was comfortable with a very nice living area. The weather was sunny and mild with cool nights so we didn't use either cooling or heating so not able to comment on that. There is a bit of noise that comes from the street below, but is quiet during sleeping hours. Antonia is a wonderful host. She met with us on our first day to make sure all was well and took us to a wonderful taverna la Buvette for afternoon coffee. It was a delight to meet her and she was very helpful with suggestions for the area. We ended up eating breakfast at la Buvette each day and had an excellent experience. Overall a great experience and one we would highly recommend.

Overall this was a great property. Note you need to climb two flights of stairs so may be a bit challenging with large suitcases. Host was amazing with lots of helpful tips and recommendations. Property is a couple blocks from the Spanish steps and subway station. Apartment was spacious and clean. One downfall was the noise at night. Although windows were closed due to the older building the windows don’t seal so allows noise through. Bring ear plugs 😉.

Location, Location, Location! If you want a superior location…this rustic apartment is for you! As mentioned, NO lift so you must be able to manage carrying your suitcases up & down lots of stairs.Antonia is very kind and thoughtful as well as a fantastic communicator. Responds quickly every time. We did not have the pleasure to meet her in person. Though, she was kind enough to allow us in to the apartment earlier than scheduled because it was not occupied immediately prior to our 3 night September 2025 stay. Much appreciated Antonia!Because of the fabulous apartment location, drop off and pickup can be tricky or must be perfectly timed. Vehicles can’t really successfully stop on her quaint street. I highly recommend using Antonia’s preferred transportation contact. We used them from cruise port to apt. & apt. to FCO. Excellent customer service!The apartment is dated but good space (x4 individuals max) and functional. One queen bed and one futon couch/bed in the living area.Has a washer (no dryer) which is helpful. Clothes dried quickly on the racks provided.Great grocery store a couple of doors down the street. Plenty of options for great food & beverage too!Water pressure is excellent. Great WiFi connectivity and television service.Garbage disposal before departure was unexpected & inconvenient given the cost paid for cleaning.Thank you Antonia!

Great location and very nice owner -BUT:Owner very nice and responsive but this place has bare bones, Absolutely Nothing but furniture and necessary appliances.-Advertised as air conditioned but in fact - only in bedroom & living rm-no kitchen towels or rags or any cleaning agents, mops, broom-had to ASK for towels,soap,etc. PLUS -ONLY ONE (1) set per person!-about 6 hangers in each of 2 closets and no bar/pole to hang from-no paper towels or napkins nothing to use that is usually provided-kitchen a total mess; very few utensils and flatware, all mismatched too-bathroom window broken-jagged open hole; no door lock;handle broken -cannot lock door (bathroom) and cabinet all rusty and bent-only one electric outlet in each room to plug in all necessary electronics -no adapter plugs provided to borrow if needed-bedroom window doesn’t close all the way (lock broken) outside noise-Building extremely filthy-trash in hallways and black balls of filth everywhere This is a VERY VERY stingy nothing here-bare bones apt. In a FILTHY building. Not comfortable at all!! NOT as advertised!

Antonio was a very kind and thoughtful host and the apartment right is next to lots of great shops and restaurants. Those are huge positives and the reason I didn’t take off more than 2 stars, but it’s extremely noisy late and night and early morning. Yes, you are on a busy street so you should expect some noise, which usually doesn’t bother us - we are not light sleepers and have stayed in other busy locations, including in Rome, Paris, Barcelona, Montreal etc. However, this was quite bad. Between loud cars and motorcycles late at night and early morning, loud drunken people shouting and cursing after midnight in the street… needless to say, we didn’t sleep well. Also, this apartment is a lot older than it looks in the photos. While it definitely has charm, it is in need of updating and the beds were not very comfortable. There is also an odd smell. The shower leaks, and Antonia did say they were working on fixing that. The entry to the building is quite dirty and dark, which is not Antonia’s fault, but it’s something to be aware of as it doesn’t exactly feel warm and welcoming when you first arrive.

Property was close to all major attractions and metro. 3 blocks to Spanish Steps, 8 minute walk to Trevi Fountain. Apartment was as described in the listing. Antonia was full of information and helped us with transfers as well as introducing us with a Concierge tour company. She was wonderful to work with. I would book this apartment again.

Perfect location and great property

This was perfect for three of us. Easy access to the metro station and walkable to many sights. Also close to a lot of good restaraunts. Antonia was an awesome host and gave plenty of information prior to our stay to make our visit to Rome easy. Woul definitely stay again.

Perfect location to be Close to it ALL

The apartment was the perfect place for our visit to Rome. It was close to all the attractions and shopping! It was so cool to be in the narrow streets and walk up to the massive door to enter into the building. And walking up the stairs to the special roomy apt was like out of a movie. It exceeded all our expectations. The charm of the apartment was undeniable. And the owner was even better, Her communication before and during out stay was out of this world. She offered suggestions for private tours and transportation which were both excellent. Take advantage of her contacts. The apartment was located in an area with all the high end shops you could imagine and the quaint spots to eat, it was hard to choose where to go. Plus the grocery store just 2 doors down was super convenient to grab some bread and cheese and wine for late night snacks. Highly recommend and we would come back.

Fantastic location

5 minutes from Spanish Steps. You can walk to everything and 3 metro stops to Vatican city. Antonia was a great help with information and helped arrange our ride from the airport and introduced us to an amazing tour guide.

Absolutely Wonderful!

We stayed the month of April and could not ask for a better host, apartment and amenities and location!Antonia was such a gracious and kind host. She made sure we had what we needed and was always so responsive if we had any questions. Her guide and welcome packet were excellent with everything from how things worked in the apartment to suggestions on restaurants and things to do. We were fortunate to meet her in person and see a few sites with her as well. We are looking forward to staying in touch!The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It had more than enough space for the 2 of us and all the comforts of home. It was nice having a full kitchen where we generally cooked breakfast before going out for the day. The market was just out the door and a few doors down so we were able to get what we needed, when we needed it. Perfect location! The area is beautiful with so many shops, cafes and restaurants. There are many churches with a few that have English speaking masses as well. Several of the sites are walkable. The Spanish Steps are a 5 minute walk. We were also able to walk to the Trevi Fountain, St. Peter Basilica/Vatican Museums and other neighboring neighborhoods. Highly recommend this apartment!

Our first visit to Rome!!

We loved our stay at Antonia’s place. The communication with Antonia was superb prior to even booking, prior to our visit, during our visit and even after we left. Very kind and very responsive. Antonia is a lovely lady!The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot! And the kitchen was equipped with everything needed for an extended stay. Easy to connect to the internet. Nice dining table with comfortable chairs to eat meals. Very convenient location! Metro stop about five blocks away. Tons of restaurants nearby. We ate at a different place every night. Also, plenty of gelato stores as well!A grocery store out the front door and about 10 steps to the left. Had everything you would need. If interested in bio groceries, there is a store just a few more steps on the other side of the street. By Roman standards the street is relatively quiet as the bedroom is located on the front side of the apartment.The apartment has lovely air movement when opening all the windows. We never turned on the tv so can’t comment on that.

Es war ein sehr authentisches Leben in einer römischen Wohnung mit ursprünglichem Flair, wie z. B. Flügeltüren, alten Fenstern mit Läden innen, etc., dennoch hatte die Wohnung modernen Komfort. Antonia hat uns persönlich begrüßt und hatte allerhand Tipps für uns. Schön war auch die Musikschule in unmittelbarer Nähe, man hörte Gesang und unterschiedliche Instrumente.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Antonia's apartment. The location was amazing. Stepping right outside our door and having immediate access to grocery, shops, the Steps, and whatever else we needed. We were able to walk to 3 of the 4 churches featured as part of the Jubilee and took the metro to the 4th. It was quite an experience to pass through all 4 of the holy gates. The apartment was equipped with everything needed, outside of an oven. Although we were able to make due with stove top for the meals we made at home base. It was a fabulous city and place to begin our 2025!

We stayed at the apartment near the Spanish Steps for one month. The location could not be better. It is between two metro stations and a ten minutes walk from many famous Roman attractions. The apartment itself is on a smaller street, and although there was continual city bustle, we were able to find quiet with a ten minute walk to the park Villa Borghese.Arrival was easy and the host provided many helpful tips. The host was very kind and knowledgeable, and offered good advice throughout our stay.The apartment was clean and supplied with fresh linens and towels. The bed and fold-out sofa-bed were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of hot water. We were there in the winter, and the apartment was comfortably warm.The apartment has everything for a comfortable long stay; A good washing machine (no dryer), a galley kitchen with microwave and gas stove-top (no oven). The WiFi is up-to-date and was strong in all parts of the apartment. There is a grocery store next door that has everything that you might need, and there are other food shops nearby for more picky eaters nearby. And of course, there are many restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood.For the active tourist I can not imagine a better place to stay in Rome.

We stayed 2 weeks in this amazing apartment. Based on the reviews, we had very high expectations. Those expectations were exceeded multiple times. The apartment is spotless, the rooms larger than we expected based on the pictures in the listing and the location excellent for enjoying the splendor that is Rome. We could easily walk nearly everywhere, the Spagna metro station is very close by for longer journeys. The washing machine and dishwasher made our stay efficient. The bed is very comfortable and the shower roomy enough and excellent hot water. We did not use the sofa bed and would be cautious of a second couple using it for anything other than a sort stay. We generally had breakfast in the flat and on many evenings enjoyed a light meal of wine, bread, meats and cheese at “home”. There is a 24 hour grocery within 25 meters. The Via del Corso and the Spanish Steps are close by for an evening stroll. The very best part was the warmth and hospitality of Antonia, the owner. She was responsive and welcoming. Her suggestions for Rome were prepared by her and extremely helpful. This apartment is perfect for a couple and perfect for a longer stay. One couple could easily stay a month and not feel crowded. We have stayed in over 30 VRBO properties, most of them excellent, but this one is likely the best ever.

Just loved it

I’m making eye contact with the camera and shaking my head with a knowing smile, a la Stanley Tucci. If you know what I mean, then you belong here. Not swanky but perfect for seasoned travelers. Plenty of room for suitcases and lounging about in between long walks and incredible meals in the one of the most amazing neighborhoods in Rome. Antonia is a gem!

I am a 70 year-old lady, mother of two children and grandma of two grandchildren of 4 years and 1 month. I was born and raised in Rome that I love and know very well and that continues to surprise me for her beauties day after day. I retired after 40 years of work at Procter & Gamble, where I worked with passion and fun in the human resources department. Now I enjoy managing this apartment, as well another in Spoleto inthe Umbrian region north of Rome, received by inheritance. I love to get to know other cultures and customs around the world.
I'm a volunteer as clown in hospital. This is avery active activity both to attend at the hospital services and to continue in the growth of my clown path with monthly and stimulating traning sessions ... a world I'm discovering day after day and I'm very pleased with it.
Antoher passion is cultivating olive trees in the beautiful town of Spoleto in Umbria, where I spend most of the summer with my brothers and sisters and where we produce the best extra virgin olive oil for fsmily and selected friends.
Summing up in three words: Culture, Nature and Family Including Cooking! ... because I love cooking which I believe is sharing our love through the food in god company!

This holiday home has been a family home for generations. When I received it in the 1990's, it was basically occupied by my mother-in-law. After her death and after my retirement I wanted to use it to rent it to people who wanted to know Rome and feel at home. My family taught me the art of hospitality, so I try to combine this art with my passion for discovering new cultures, and knowing people from all over the world, also getting an income that helps me manage the property better that I will leave to my two children.

Cozy, well-equipped, central to turning and knowing the true Rome without the problem of transport. Everything is within reach ... legs, from the exclusive site to a good restaurant, to the most renowned boutique. A real relax for those who live there, and the the shower and the mattress you will regret both !
