Nos encanta esta casa de mediados de siglo desde la década de 1950. Vintage, pero recién pintado y redecorado.
Canty's Cottage es una casa clásica de la isla de Mid Century Modern que Mary Elizabeth Canty y su familia han disfrutado con familiares y amigos desde su infancia. Construido en la década de 1950 y completamente restaurado con aire acondicionado central y todas las actualizaciones modernas, esta casa a nivel del suelo, que admite mascotas, cuenta con un amplio patio trasero y lateral completamente vallado con vistas al río Back y a 1. 5 cuadras del callejón 3- el kayak local área de lanzamiento.
3 habitaciones y 1. 25 baños (un baño completo con una combinación de bañera / ducha y una habitación solo para ducha), además de una habitación en Florida y una cocina increíble, ¡esta casa es un poco encantadora!
¡El Tybee Tiki-Hut es el último toque final! Mezcle sus margaritas (o batidos ~ ¡no juzgaremos!) y disfruta de un pequeño estilo isleño aquí mismo!

Relaxing stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was nice and cozy, walking distance from the beach and an awesome sunset seen from the house. I wish I could have stayed longer but unfortunately work calls. Plenty of things to do in the area. Tybee market is close by for your food and snacks while there, and great breakfast spots near by. Would love to stay again in the near future, and I would definitely recommend it as a nice getaway

Home Away From Home

This house was perfect for us. The fenced in yard was a huge plus as we were traveling with pets. They were able to burn off some energy in the yard. The house was exactly as the pictures showed and how the listing was described. The location was good too. Walking distance to the beaches and main downtown area. We also took advantage of the short drive to Savannah for some tours and food. This house was a great home away from home and we’d recommend it to anyone traveling with kids and pets. Thanks!

Close to the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay at Canteloupe Cottage. The property was very nice on a pleasant, quiet road. We were walking/biking distance from the Chatham Rd beach access point, and several other inlet access points. We had a lot of fun.

Shabby chic comfortable bungalow

House is comfortable if a bit shabby (could use some TLC) but in a great locale. Quiet, bedroom neighborhood along Tybee Creek with 3 beach access points including one small pier, within easy walking distance. It was great swimming in the calmer waters along the Tybee Creek side of the island and not getting pounded by the surf. Wonderful beach combing. Easy walk to big pier, the pavillion and The Breakfast Club, etc. At the house, beds were comfotrtable and everything worked. Tons to do in and around Tybee and Savannah without having to go far. We had a great 5 days there and brought along our doggo. Would rent again.

This was the perfect place! Just a 10 min walk to the beach and restaurants. Host was amazing and checked on us occasionally. Will definitely stay here again!

Beds and seating are comfortable, AC works great, and real art on every wall (not Hobby Lobby stock cheesy art). Haint Blue at every entrance. Only 2 blocks from Back River Beach, so quiet for relaxing, fishing, watching birds. Only half a mile to the strip on Tybrisa St and more ocean access! I loved being able to take a short little walk to my choice of beach. Overall, having this lovely beach home to stay in really made our trip memorable. The Mermaid Cottages staff were helpful but not intrusive. Just a couple of texts to make sure everything was good. (It was great) Check in/ Checkout was easy. Highly recommend, and we will definitely use Mermaid Cottages again!

Great getaway!

Great place that allowed us to walk to the beach on both sides of the island, meals and ice cream shops. The property manager was very proactive with communication. We would definitely stay with them again!

Windows are dirty, outside appeal is awful, the walls are white but it needs painting as the walls look dirty. The island itself was very nice. Quiet and not much traffic at all so great for biking or walking.

Very nice. Would like an outlet in bathroom or better access to mirror and outlet in bedrooms. Also maybe another tv in another one of the bedrooms. Would also like a broom and dustpan to sweep up the leaves tracked in. Liked the fenced yard for dogs

House was two blocks from the beach and four blocks from shops, and clean (except for the coffee pot). Manager was responsive and friendly, as always. A little trouble getting into the home as the screen door was latched from the inside. The area was quiet and safe.

Wonderful!

Very impressed with our stay. The cottage matched the beach vibe and was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Tammy was awesome and a pleasure to talk to. The yard was great and we sat out at back patio every day and enjoyed morning coffee. We visit Savanna often and will stay with Mermaid Cottages again.
