Wonderful stay in a lovely town

Gaetano's apartment is a lovely place to stay in a lovely town. It is clean, well-equipped, spacious and has very effective air conditioning. It is in a very tranquil setting, with beautifully kept gardens and majestic views over the town and hills behind. Gaetano's hospitality and communication were excellent. We would thoroughly recommend it and would love to stay there again.

Wonderful host, amazing gentleman. Easy access to beaches, old town, and station. The only drawback was the numberof steps to access the property.

Pleasant and relaxing stay in a green surroundings

The apartment corresponded to the description in the offer. It was clean, the kitchen was well set up and the air conditioners worked. The host has prepared documents about the area and for excursions and welcomed us warmly. It was a successful stay and we enjoyed Sestri.

idyllic!

We've just returned from a wonderful week staying at Gaetano's charming apartment in Sestri Levante. It's conveniently placed for the beach, station and town, yet extremely peaceful with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills from the terrace. The apartment was clean and well-stocked and Gaetano was extremely helpful, collecting us from the station and providing us with a very welcome bottle of wine on arrival! Sestri Levante is an absolute gem (this was our second visit), fantastic beaches and lush surroundings, and easy to reach by train. Looking forward to returning soon.

A young pair of parents with extremely quiet children of Swedish nationality: the ideal guests for any residence. Every feature of the house and surroundings was appreciated and enjoyed by everyone and I saw a veil of sadness when they returned to Northern Europe.

Bright and airy apartment in a quiet neighbourhood within an easy stroll of the action.

We had a great week in Sestri Levante. The accommodation is bright, airy and spacious for a one-bedroom apartment. The balcony, just off the living area, is perfect for meals outdoors and has the bonus of scenic views. The local supermarket, only a short walk away, has a good variety of local produce that can be cooked up in the well-equipped kitchen, and the restaurants are not far away. Gaetano, the owner, is friendly and very helpful. Sestri Levante is a very convenient base for exploring the local region, and has the benefit of feeling more Italian than the Cinque Terre towns, which are very popular with foreign tourists. We did not take as many excursions as planned because we enjoyed Sestri Levante and the apartment so much.

Excellent host, nice apartment, great parking

The Host Gaetano is very friendly and open and helpful, and you can't ask for more. The apartment is as described and well equipped. The one thing I would say is missing is a toaster! Not so popular in Italy maybe, but it would have been useful. Otherwise, it has everything you need. The Parking is really a plus for this apartment. Not only do they have private parking, but it is secure and covered, so the car stays cool! So many other holiday apartments in Italy either have nothing, or only offer parking on the street (often at additional cost). So this really is very good. That the train station is also fairly close is also a positive. The best way to get to the Cinque Terre and Porto Fino, and other places is by train, and we used this a lot. One can walk to the supermarket, town centre, beach, and train station. My only complaint would be that the 2nd bedroom got very hot, which for our young daughter was not so good. There is no air conditioning in the bedrooms and the air-con from the main area does not get into them, so it is difficult to cool it down.

Schöne kleine Wohnung, blitzsauber. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wunderschöne Gegend am Meer, die man problemlos auch mit der Bahn erkunden kann. Die baia de silencio in Sestri Levante ist windgeschützt und nach Süden ausgerichtet, so dass man auch im Oktober noch im Meer baden kann

Ankommen, entspannen, ausspannen

Wir haben unseren 8-tägigen Aufenthalt bei Gaetano sehr genossen und haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war, wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Von der Terrasse aus bietet sich ein wunderbarer Rundumblick auf Sestri Levante und die Berge. Die Wohnung ist ruhig und doch zentral gelegen. Ortskern, Bahnhof, Strand, Restaurants und Supermärkte sind unweit und fußläufig erreichbar. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man sich wünscht. Und sollte dennoch etwas fehlen, ist Gaetano stets zur Stelle und äußerst hilfsbereit. Der Kontakt warvl stets freundlich und völlig unkompliziert. Auch wenn wir die Wärme genossen haben, wussten wir die Klimaanlage zu schätzen. Sestri Levante ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für diverseAusflüge entlang der Küste oder auch ins Hinterland. Fazit: Wir haben längst noch nicht alles gesehen und kommen gerne wieder.

La maison de Gaetano est idéalement située: 15mn à pied de la gare (il a été facile pour nous de prendre les transports pour visiter Santa Margharita Ligure, Portofino, les Cinq Terres), 15mn des plages (coup de cœur pour la Baia del silenzio) et du centre-ville. De nombreux commerces se trouvent à proximité (moins de 10mn). Nous n’avons utilisé la voiture qu’une fois au cours de ces 15 jours de vacances. Gaetano est un hôte vraiment exceptionnel: son accueil a été très chaleureux (bienveillance, disponibilité et petites attentions tout au long du séjour). Le logement est, quant à lui très propre, fonctionnel et bien décoré (avec des souvenirs de ses nombreux voyages je suppose). Nous avons apprécié de passer des soirées sur la terrasse, au calme, entourés de toute cette végétation. Chaque pièce est équipée d’un système de climatisation. Petite précision: une montée d’escaliers est nécessaire pour accéder au logement mais Gaëtano possède un monte-escalier pour le transport des bagages.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Gaetano! Excellent accueil et conseils de Gaetano. Vraiment, les échanges avec Gaetano et sa bienveillance naturelle sont un plus pour le séjour. L'appartement cumule les qualités. Au calme et proche de tout, cocon au sein d'une belle propriété, propreté impeccable, très bien équipé. A réserver les yeux fermés!

Grüne Idylle

Sehr schön gelegenes Haus inmitten eines großen Gartens. Die Wohnung unterm Dach mit Terrasse war gut ausgestattet, lediglich Geschirr und Besteck etwas knapp. Die starken Dachschrägen im Küchenbereich und in der Dusche waren etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Gaetano war stets ansprechbar und hat sich sehr freundlich um unsere Anliegen gekümmert. Ein schöner Ort zum Entspannen.

Den Gästen, die das Haus seit 2011 besucht haben, zufolge ist es seit jeher dafür bekannt, alles zu haben, was für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt nützlich ist. Aber mir ist klar, dass der Besteckvorrat für sechs Personen als gerade ausreichend angesehen werden kann: Aus diesem Grund statte ich die Wohnung mit einem weiteren Bestecksatz für sechs Personen aus, um am Ende 12 Gabeln, 12 Löffel, 12 Messer zu haben. Andererseits verlieren nicht alle Gäste die Schlüssel zur Wohnung, was zu Unannehmlichkeiten für den Eigentümer führt, aber leider kann das passieren. Vielen Dank, dass Sie dieses Problem hervorgehoben haben, damit ich es beheben kann.

Un accueil formidable et un emplacement parfait

Nous avons passé un court séjour chez Gaetano mais très très agréable. Gaetano est véritablement un super hôte : très grande gentillesse, de très bons conseils avec une grande connaissance de sa région, très chaleureux, toujours disponible malgré un départ très tôt. Autre point important: depuis le logement plus besoin de reprendre la voiture: nous sommes allés au Cinque Terre en train avec la Cinque Terre Card. Nous sommes allés à Portofino en train +bateau. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

absolutely lovely

about a km outside of downtown so great to have to walk and easy walk. host is delightful, multilingual and multitalented . very private and comfortable. only caveat there are lots of steps up to property so not for the infirm. but we are in our 70s and it was not an issue for us. would definitely stay again .

Die Terrasse ist morgens und abends wunderbar, ansonsten steht auch ein schattiges Gartenstück zur Verfügung. Sehr symphatischer und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Einziges Manko: Der kürzeste Weg zum Strand und in die Stadt führt durch eine hässliche Bahnunterführung. Insgesamt gerne wieder, vielen Dank.

Wir wissen, dass es im Leben schwierig ist, alles zu haben. Dass auch in einer besonders heißen Jahreszeit wie dieser eine Dachgeschosswohnung nutzbar ist, sowohl durch die Klimatisierung als auch durch die Umsetzung eines intelligenten Lüftungssystems zwischen Fenstern, Velux und Ventilator, kann ich als gutes Ergebnis bezeichnen. We know that in life it is difficult to have everything. The fact that even during a particularly hot season like this an attic apartment is usable both as a function of the air conditioning and by putting into practice an intelligent ventilation system between windows, velux and fan I think can be defined as a good result.

Sehr netter Gastgeber

Gaetano ist ein sehr netter und herzlicher Gastgeber. Er hat unsere Extrawünsche sofort erfüllt und stand als Ansprechpartner jederzeit zur Verfügung. Er hat uns gute Tipps für Veranstaltungen und Ausflüge gegeben. Die Dachgeschosswohnung hat alles, was man braucht, die Klimaanlage ist ein Segen! Für große Menschen sind die Dachschrägen erstmal eine Herausforderung, vor allem beim Duschen. Das Haus liegt ruhig und in Hanglage auf einem großem Grundstück, das schön angelegt und sehr gepflegt ist. Zum Strand und zum Zentrum läuft man ca. 15-20 Minuten. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt.

Im Leben ist alles relativ, das ist eine große Wahrheit! So wie es den Gast gibt, der sich über die Leistung der Klimaanlage in der Wohnung beschwert, gibt es auch denjenigen, der sie dafür lobt, dass sie sie als Segen empfunden hat. Dies ist ein Jahr mit außergewöhnlichen Temperaturen in allen Teilen der Welt; der Mittelmeerraum war nicht ausgeschlossen und deshalb habe ich versucht, die Unannehmlichkeiten durch die Einführung eines zusätzlichen Ventilators zu beheben.

Cette année a été pour moi marquée par le retour massif des Français et cela m'a fait plaisir car les nationalités qui arrivent, plus elles sont différentes, suscitent en moi plus d'intérêt quant à la variété des commentaires concernant le logement que je propose qu'il peut recevoir.

L’ideale tra il verde e il mare

La breve distanza dalla spiaggia a reso la nostra vacanza ancora più piacevole. Un piccolo gioiello in mezzo al verde ligure tra mare e monte. Gaetano, conoscitore del territorio, ci ha dato ottimi suggerimenti con grande disponibilità e gentilezza. Torneremo.

A louer sans hésitation !

Accueil très chaleureux. Notre hôte n’est pas avare d’informations sur la région et donne de bons tuyaux. La maison est située dans un domaine verdoyant entourée d’oliviers. Elle est au calme et pourtant à 15 mn à pied de la gare, du centre ville et des plages. Les liaisons train sont très faciles avec les différents endroits touristiques. Possibilité de mettre la voiture sous abri dans la propriété sécurisée par un portail. L’appartement est propre, spacieux et offre une terrasse. La cuisine est bien équipée. La literie est de bonne qualité

Charmantes Apartment in perfekter Lage

Die Ferienwohnung ist Teil eines wunderschönen Hauses und liegt ruhig und dennoch zentral am Hang eines Olivenhains. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich, die Ausstattung lässt an nichts zu wünschen übrig. Wunderbar ist die Terrasse, sonnenverwöhnt und mit Blick ins Grüne. Der unglaublich freundliche Gastgeber wohnt in direkter Nachbarschaft und stand uns bei Fragen und Tipps jederzeit zur Seite, hat aber sonst unsere Privatsphäre respektiert. Der Bahnhof ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, so dass wir unser Auto während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht aus der Garage bewegen mussten. Ob Cinque Terre, Genua oder Küstenstädtchen, alles ist per Zug einfach zu erreichen. Ins Städtchen und zum Strand sind es ebenfalls nur wenige Laufminuten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und danken herzlich für die tolle Zeit!

Seit Jahren biete ich die Möglichkeit, in diesem Haus zu wohnen, umgeben von einem Olivenhain und Pflanzen, die je nach Jahreszeit blühen. Wenn ein Gast seinen Aufenthalt hier in guter Erinnerung behält, auch wenn er vielleicht nie wiederkommt, macht mich das zufrieden.
