Esta es una hermosa casa de troncos de 1800 pies cuadrados construida en 8. 5 acres en expansión. Esta ubicación privada le dará toda la serenidad que necesita para disfrutar de un fin de semana lejos de la ciudad o la vida suburbana. La suite principal se encuentra arriba con baño completo, TV y balcón privado con vistas a los Catskills. Dos habitaciones se encuentran en el piso principal adyacente al segundo baño completo. Hay un cuarto dormitorio ubicado en la planta baja también con televisión. Una cocina completa en el piso principal le brinda todas las comodidades y utensilios modernos que pueda necesitar para preparar una comida casera para la familia. Un segundo refrigerador y congelador comercial se encuentran abajo. Perfect Upstate Getaway

The pictures did not do the place justice - awesome views over the catskills, well laid out, stocked kitchen, and the wood burning stove was amazing. Really comfortable bedrooms/furniture, great communication and availability from the owners, and a really cozy, warm environment!Highly recommend.

Gorgeous and delightful

We had a group of 8 graduate school friends stay in this home for the weekend. The home was gorgeous, adorably decorated, and had wonderful amenities. We felt well taken care of by our hosts and had no complaints or concerns. The location is so perfect for those of us who love to ski, and the views are INCREDIBLE. Already hoping to return!

Mountain Retreat

We loved this peaceful mountain get-a-way. This place does not disappoint and the pictures do not do this scenic escape justice as the views are stunning. It’s hard to decide if the hot tub on the deck with the snow falling, or the easy drive to Hunter and Windham Mountains for skiing fun, or lighting up the wood burning stove and snuggling in for board games and family time was the best part! The whole process was all very easy with great communication. Such a great place to unplug (thinking of my kiddos especially) and enjoy family. Highly recommend!

Can't recommend this cabin enough, we came right as the leaves were turning and the views just from the porch are incredible. Jodi was very responsive and the place was very clean when we arrived. There are plenty of beds for sleeping, we even used the loft as basically another bedroom. 5/5

Great Experience

From host to house, everything was perfect! House is an adorable cabin removed from the hustle and bustle. Great place to relax and enjoy nature, or take a short drive to the ski slopes and town. The owner was wonderful to work with and made our long stay seamless. Family can’t wait to go back!!

Cozy Christmas Week

We had a great week here over Christmas! Stayed here with my husband, our teen son, my mother, and our dog. The cabin is adorable, cozy and comfortable, and the wood-burning stove kept us warm with plenty of firewood stocked in the basement. The kitchen is very well-equipped and we were happy about the gas burners on the range. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels. The hot tub was very clean and nice after a day on the slopes. Location is ideal for skiers - we skied at Hunter Mountain twice. Windham is also very close. The cabin is in a very quiet area but convenient to the local grocery store and other things like the quaint Mountain Cinema in Hunter and Jägerburg Beer Hall for a hearty meal. The owner, Jodi, was responsive and available with any concerns we had. This place is obviously well-loved and cared for by the owners. Lovely vacation!

Terrific hilltop cabin

We have loved our weekends at Casey’s home. Its beautifully situated on a picturesque hilltop with mountain views and is very cozy inside. Kids loved the hot tub. We hope to return!

Terrific Mountain Cabin

What a spot! I brought my family upstate for several ski weekends and we had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful home. We love the original log cabin feel, the incredible mountain views, the wood burning stove and the hot tub! Casey was so accessible and helpful and we hope to stay here again soon!

Excellent location, beautiful property and amazing host!

We rented the house for 2.5 months and this was one of the best rental experiences we have so far. The host is very responsive and supportive, communication was very easy. Location is great with close distance to Hunter mountain which we needed because of kids. The property is very beautiful and private. We are looking forward to return to this house in the nearest future.

It is Our 3rd time here

We love this house and its views so much that we keep coming here like home. :) Every time is like the first time. The same excitement feeling when spending a weekend here. Pure bliss in the mountains

We had an amazing stay! The pictures don’t do the lodge justice it’s really cozy especially with the fire lit! Beds were perfect loads of utensils we had a ball. The hot tube was a dream after spending the day skiing and tubing.

big disappointment

Let me start by saying the online pics of the interior in this listing are not what you will find when you walk into this rather run-down cabin. The interior is cluttered with way too much furniture, knickknacks literally everywhere, 4 deer heads hanging from the walls instead of the one shown in the pics, cabinets full of previous renter’s leftover food, the kitchen refrigerator had an open wine bottle and jars of open condiments, the second refrigerator and washer/dryer located downstairs were surrounded by piles of trash and covered in mold. And there were flies…everywhere! I complained to the owner on our second day about the dirty carpets in the master bedroom and the flies. Turns out, the owner was very aware of the fly problem “The flies are in every house in the area. We have tried everything to get rid of them.” she replied. Well, thanks for sharing that. I messaged the owner on our 4th day, “I've got to say, based on the online reviews and pics, we really didn't expect to walk into something like this." I asked the owner again to send over a cleaner. The owner’s housekeeper finally stopped by on our 8th day to vacuum flies, shampoo the carpet, and hang some flypaper. She also dropped off some vacuum bags. I cleaned out their plugged and filthy vacuum and replaced the bag so we could at least continue to sweep up the flies we were constantly killing. I placed more flypaper on the upper windowsills and ended up trapping well over 100 flies and other insects over the next couple of days. Once the carpet dried, it looked stained and dirty again. When it was nice out the views from the decks were great, but when it rained our views were from inside the cabin through very dirty windows with our fly companions marching back and forth across the glass. No fun. Based on my experience I do not consider this cabin to be a “premier” listing. All trash should be removed and it should have a through cleaning before the next renters show up. Plus, it really needs a lot of fixing up. At a minimum the owners should post new pictures to make sure people know what the current condition of the cabin is.

JUST LOVE IT

It was our second time spending my birthday weekend at this amazing house. Honestly, one of the best houses we ever been to. The view worths a lot. The home and property are beautiful. the house is spacious, has everything you need and the beds are extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace and the spacious family room where we played games and enjoyed being together. This house is the perfect get-a-way and I know we will return. Thanks, Jodi for everything.
