Casina di Arceno se encuentra en una de las fincas vinícolas más encantadoras de la Toscana conocida como Tenuta di Arceno, en el área de Chianti Classico. La propiedad se encuentra en el centro de la finca con olivares y viñedos que se extienden en todas las direcciones.

Esta casa de campo es parte de un grupo de otras 5 casas y es única en el sentido de que tiene tres terrazas diferentes con vistas al sureste, noroeste y este para disfrutar del tiempo libre al aire libre en los diferentes momentos del día. La hermosa piscina grande está al otro lado de la terraza delantera, a solo 25 yardas de la casa.

¡Para llegar a Casina di Arceno se conduce por un impresionante callejón histórico de cipreses de 1 kilómetro de largo plantado hace más de 2 siglos! Alojarse en Casina di Arceno da la idea de estar lejos de la civilización pero a la vez cerca de Castelnuovo Berardenga (4 km) y San Gusmè (2 km) con todos los servicios que pueda necesitar y a solo 20 minutos en coche de Siena.

Esta casa de campo se establece en 2 niveles. Hay tres plazas de aparcamiento privadas cubiertas. La entrada principal aterriza en una cocina muy amplia muy bien equipada, con una gran mesa cuadrada de madera con capacidad para 8 personas.
Además de la cocina, la planta baja incluye:
- Un gran dormitorio principal, con baño en suite.
- un comedor con acceso a la terraza de aspecto este, al que se puede acceder también desde el dormitorio principal.
- Una sala de estar grande y luminosa, con 4 ventanas que se conectan con la gran y maravillosa terraza de aspecto sureste, con vistas abiertas a las colinas toscanas hasta Siena. El salón alberga un gran sofá cama doble (1m60) con capacidad para 2.

El primer piso incluye:
- una habitación doble con una gran cama king size o dos camas individuales y baño en suite
- El segundo dormitorio principal con baño en suite y lavadora / secadora.

En resumen, la casa tiene tres habitaciones dobles (camas king size o dos camas individuales) cada una con baño en suite, una gran sala de estar con un sofá cama para dos personas, una gran cocina con una mesa grande y un comedor, y Tres fantásticas terrazas, piscina y tres plazas de aparcamiento cubiertas. La casa es muy agradable y confortable.

Sabrina was great- helpful and available with a smile. Location was beautiful but property was relatively far from the city on the estate and initially difficult to find due to lack of guideposts.The first night out we got lost and needed Sabrina’s help.Linens and towels should have been provided after one week. Sabrina handled this for us but should have been provided automatically. Upstairs bedroom should be air conditioned like other bedrooms.Overall, we enjoyed the property very much and its ambiance.Thank you and our hats off to Sabrina, who helped make the stay wonderful.

Fantastic Villa

Our mixed family of 6 had an incredible time at Casina di Arceno. We were met by Aurora, who graciously showed us around and gave us the lay of the land. The grounds and house are beautiful and were a great setting for us to explore. Any questions we had were addressed quickly. The kids loved the pool after long days of sightseeing. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone, as it is a great house with incredible views.

Very nice quiet location in Tuscany

We really enjoyed our stay at the Villa. It was a great place to unwind after touring Tuscany, whether BBQ or cooking dinner in the kitchen and enjoying the evening on the terrace overlooking the countryside. The welcome package had great wine and snacks that were delicious.

Hidden gem in Chianti region

Wonderful villa on the edge of Chianti surrounded by working vineyards and olive groves. House, pool, and surrounding property were more beautiful than the pictures. The house is well stocked with the essentials and the washer dryer was a definite plus for our longer stay. Check in and check out with the local house manager, Sabrina, was easy. Sabrina was very attentive and readily available during our stay. We were welcomed with a basket of dry goods, fruit and a bottle of wine - a thoughtful touch that quickly made the house feel like our home. The house is an easy drive from Florence and centrally located about 25 mins east of Siena for use as a home base for day trips to vineyards and all of the Tuscan hill towns. Tastings for the wines and olive oils grown on the property are also available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the property to others. I hope we can return for another stay soon!

Vineyard Setting

The villa was situated several miles outside of a small town and about 20 miles from Siena. Sabrina, the property manager, could not have been more accommodating. We loved the view and all of the recommendations for restaurants, touring, wineries, etc. The only disappointment was limited use of the television. Would recommend considering adding access to Netflix so guests can access their accounts and make better use of the TV.

Wonderfully peaceful location

This stunning farmhouse is quietly situated high in the Tuscan hills with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well appointed as were the living areas. We made full use of the swimming pool, the terraces with their shades and the nearest town (15 minutes away)provided all our daily needs. The manager was efficient, warm and friendly and arranged a fantastic Italian culinary experience for us all. Overall this farmhouse provided an excellent base for a fantastic family holiday.

Tuscan adventure

We loved our time in Tuscany in our Villa. It had all the requirements in particular the amazing views and showcases of the amazing Tuscan light. The house suited our group of 4 adults and one child, with the family upstairs and the couple downstairs offering our own space and privacy when needed. But then the entertaining spaces- well you could choose a different one for almost every meal of the day We organised a chef experience with Sabrina for a birthday and it was amazing. A great Tuscan feast that we enjoyed for days and I must admit we were all over full by the end. The vineyards nearby are lovely to walk through. The pool providing great relief from the heat! It was a good yo a couple of nearby wineries, villages and larger towns. Or close to the freeways to get to the larger cities. I would definitely go back or advise others of this location - exactly what we were after! Thankyou to Elie and Liliane for sharing your property and Thankyou to Sabrina for being our host

La Casina Perfect

Our family (5 adults, 2 children and a baby) spent a fantastic 5 days at La Casina. The house was impeccably clean and there was plenty of room for all of us. Sabrina welcomed us with a care basket and all baby needs were in place. The location was peaceful and beautiful and perfect for exploring Tuscany from Florence to Sienna and many points in between. We would all be delighted to return!!

From start to finish-a perfect week in a wonderful home

My husband, I and our four friends thoroughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful home nestled in on a quiet hill with stunning views of vineyards and olive groves from every window. The house is comfortably furnished with many lovely touches and it is spotless. We arrived on a Sunday evening and were warmly greeted by Sabrina, who manages the house for Liliane and Elie. She ensured we were settled and had all we needed including a well stocked welcome basket from Liliane and Ellie that we used for our first dinner and the morning’s breakfast. It was such a nice touch since we arrived later than anticipated and the shops were closed. In addition, there is a hugely helpful binder filled with many suggestions for restaurants, towns to visit and vineyards to tour. My only wish is that we had planned more time for our visit in Tuscany.

Beautiful farmhouse in gorgeous Tuscany

This farmhouse was incredible. It has everything you need for a vacation. We ate out on the patio which looks out over the wine country. The pool is beautiful and refreshing. We made trips to Florence, Pisa, Cinque Terre and Sienna. The layout of the house is perfect for a family. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

A lovely villa in the perfect setting!!

My husband and I rented this villa with another couple, dear friends of ours. We met them in Siena as we were traveling from different regions and found the villa which is located about 20 minutes away. We were warmly greeted and shown to the property which is up an amazingly scenic, Cypress-lined driveway. Lovely home with views all around and three terraces for which to sit out on and soak up all the regions beauty. We had lots of room to spread out in and found the kitchen well-stocked. We ate in for breakfast and dinner and found a nearby coop grocer close by stocked full of whatever we needed. We enjoyed this home and it's location was perfect for touring all the little hill towns in the Chianti and Tuscan region. I only wish the warmth of the summer would have lasted a bit longer, so that we could've enjoyed the beautiful pool. We loved seeing the sights of Rome and Florence on our two week vacation to Italy, but this was our favorite, getting away from the busy cities and enjoying a wonderful, relaxing 5 days with friends in a beautiful setting and home. What a treat!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to return. Jan and Randy Reeves

Beautiful and serene

The fabulous La Casina at Villa Arceno is a large farmhouse located on a beautiful Tuscan vineyard, and everything one could need for a vacation stay is included -- large bedrooms, a full kitchen, lovely side and back patio decks, and gorgeous views in every direction. The pool is exquisite, and of course the surroundings are all we could have asked for. The living room is spacious and comfortable. The house stays pleasantly cool, even though it was quite warm during our stay there -- the house breathes! We used only the air-conditioner in the main bedroom, at night. The most salient feature of the location is the quiet and peaceful ambience of the environment - you immediately unwind and begin to relax. Owners Elie and Liliane have thought of everything. There was nothing we were interested in doing that wasn't mentioned in some way in the "Welcome" book, and much more that we couldn't possibly do in the course of our short stay there. Sabrina, the property manager, was wonderful, meeting us in San Gusmé, showing us in the door, and opening the house for us. She even brought us a little something for dinner on our first night, and the welcoming basket of fresh fruit and a good red wine from the area was appreciated by these weary travelers. The next time we saw Sabrina was at check-out time; though she gave us her contact information and a cellphone hardwired to reach her, we had no need -- everything at La Casina worked as described. We were sad to leave, but the memories will linger a long time. Thank you, Elie and Liliane, so much for everything, we have enjoyed our stay at your lovely Casina in Tuscany beyond measure.
