A rare find on the Auray River (Gulf of Morbihan), in Crach, in the heart of a 7-hectare private forest estate, the Coetkaloun house is situated in a spot offering unobstructed views from three sides of the house onto the boats gliding along the Auray River. Enjoy peace and relaxation at the house, nestled in the forest, with beaches, entertainment, and nightlife just a short distance away in the neighboring towns.

The house often hosts families or groups of friends with children of all ages. It is a fully renovated 200 m² property and is well-equipped to accommodate up to 14 people.
A short walk through the woods or watching the sunset over the river through the trees? The younger ones will build their own huts or “restore” the “old” ones, while the more adventurous will grab their kayaks or canoes from Coet Kaloun to explore the river, stop for a “cider bowl” at Bono Harbor or enjoy a delicious crepe at Saint Goustan Harbor (in Auray), or—for the more adventurous—to explore the islands of the Gulf of Morbihan and enjoy a seafood platter in Locmariaquer.
THE HOUSE: On the first floor: a large 30-square-meter living room, a separate kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and an Italian-style shower suitable for seniors or people with special needs, toilets, and additional showers—on the upper floor, 5 bedrooms (one with a children’s bed and another with its own sink), a bathroom, and a separate toilet.

You can store your boxes, kayaks, and boats can be stored at the bottom of the house and in the back (for safety) along the side of the house, or included in a reservation 2 km from the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan.

From May through September, we offer a “cabanon” option for those seeking an even more peaceful setting—for their evenings or a “hearty breakfast,” for example! You can also accommodate a group of 16 people (14 in the main house and 2 in the shed). The 28-square-meter shed, located 30 meters from the house, is well-separated, nestled in the middle of the forest, with an unobstructed view of the river. It allows a young couple, grandparents, nature lovers to maintain their independence while staying very close to their friends or family.

6 km from the beaches, 4 km from famous tourist towns (La Trinité-sur-Mer, the home of sailing; Carnac and its megaliths; Auray and the old port of Saint-Goustan; Vannes and the historic streets of its city center...) beaches, and all water activities. A few practical details: Only the following charges apply: Electricity (to be paid based on your meter reading—approximately 22 euros per week in the summer) - Cleaning fee upon departure: 120 euros (so you don’t have to worry about it when you leave) - Option to rent sheets, towels, etc. More information, including a very detailed description, will be sent upon request.
Crach is a charming little traditional Breton village 4 kilometers from Auray, the old town with its famous harbor: Saint Goustan (a must-visit!) at the mouth of the Auray River.
Just 5 kilometers away is La Trinité-sur-Mer, a sailor’s paradise and France’s largest sailing port.
Carnac, with its beaches, megaliths (dolmens, menhirs), its thalassotherapy center, and its seawater pool and baths—all of which make this area famous for its megaliths, dolmens, and menhirs.
