Decorado con objetos y cuadros encontrados en el mercadillo, el apartamento ofrece un ambiente confortable y cálido donde te sentirás como en casa. Con una ubicación ideal, en la esquina de la famosa plaza Maison Carrée, declarada patrimonio de la humanidad por la UNESCO, está cerca de todas las tiendas y restaurantes de todas las categorías. El casco antiguo de los siglos XII al XVII se encuentra en una zona peatonal. Comienza al pie del edificio.
El apartamento de 56 m² ofrece un dormitorio con ropa de cama de alta calidad, una cocina muy bien equipada y una sala de televisión con zona de comedor. El baño y los aseos están separados. La orientación Sur permite desayunar en la cocina con los primeros rayos de sol desde otoño hasta finales de primavera.

Stop! Look no further: you’re home in the beautiful centre of Nîmes, walking distance to everything: shopping, museums, la Maison Carrée, the train station… You’ll probably be graciously welcomed by Patrice, the owner, at the front of the building and helped inside with your luggage. His comfortable, quiet apartment is like being in a living museum, surrounded by paintings everywhere. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. You’ll probably regret having to leave and want to come back again. Bon voyage!

Wonderful stay at the apartment of Patrice an avid art collector. Central location, clean and well equipped one bedroom flat on top floor(4th) of town house(elevator to 3rd floor only-not suitable for disabled)Excellent choice for our 4 night stay. Made our own breakfast(cosy fully equipped little kitchen) otherwise ate out, plenty of eateries nearby. Patrice has great recommendations. Easy access to all of Nimes wonderful sites.Easy 15 walk from train station.Comfortable bed, it was hot while we were there so we made use of A/C in bedroom.A great stay and certainly our 1st choice for future visit to Nimes. Merci Patrice

Exceptional

If you’re considering a stay in Nîmes, this is the perfect spot. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better VRBO experience.It’s no wonder Patrice is more than a 20-time suerhost: this flat is gorgeous - literally floor to ceiling artwork - in a spectacular location, across the street from a Roman temple built in the first century. We were so comfortable - Patrice used to live in this flat and it seems he’s thought of everything to make an enjoyable stay. The tiny kitchen is well-equipped, the bathroom has everything you might need including a bathrobe and blow dryer, and there’s a tv, wifi, books in English, and even a washing machine (which we made use of).Patrice suggested some of his favorite restaurants and he was spot on! I wish we didn’t have to leave…Merci beaucoup!

So civilized, and then there's the view.

Absolutely perfect. A treat to stay in such a fully-equipped confortable stylish apartment. Patrice is the consummate host, considerate and available for check-in and questions. It is our second visit and it's quickly becomng like coming home. There is always something wonderful to look at in the apartment that you hadn't noticed before. Parking by subscription handled before arriving was easy and very close by.

Location, Location, Location!!

Patrice was an excellent host , renting us his fabulous apartment. We had the pleasure of staying in his apartment for 5 days. When you step outside from the front door, you are suddenly transported back into time, with a Roman temple, at your doorstep. There was so much to see , all within easy walking distance! We soon realized that 5 days was not enough time. We will be back for two weeks next year! We greatly enjoyed Patrice’s fantastic art collection- we were truly inspired! We just can’t say enough good things about his apartment and his assistance during our visit. It truly was an honor to be there.

We were sad to leave.

It’s difficult to say something original that praises Patrice’s outstanding apartment. From his welcome, to the gallery of art, to the tasteful decoration, to the thoughtful amenities, this apartment stands apart from any other we have rented. The location is superb with the city’s best market, Les Halles, just outside the door. Don’t want to cook? A short walk will bring you to any number of good restaurants. The great location extends to all the important cultural attractions within walking distance. Finally, your host is attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. We will return.

Kleinod zum Träumen

Selten, dass ein Objekt in der Wirklichkeit noch schöner ist, als in der Beschreibung! Wir haben uns in Patrice' Wohnung von der ersten Sekunde an wohlgefühlt. Die liebevolle - in ihrer Fülle nie überbordende - Ausstattung mit Gemälden, Teppichen und Kunstgegenständen (sogar auf der Toilette!) lassen den Blick geradezu lustwandeln und verleihen der eigenen Phantasie (wieder) Flügel! Wie gern haben wir nach den Rundgängen und Ausflügen in und um Nîmes unsere Zeit in unserem "Nest" unterm Dach verbracht, den Blick auf das Maison Carrée und den Februar-Sonnenschein am offenen Fenster genossen. Da braucht man kaum mehr zu erwähnen, dass alles andere an der Einrichtung auch perfekt für uns war: die Küche mit allem Notwendigen, das Bad mit Handtuchwärmer und einfach zu bedienender Dusche, das Wohnzimmer mit Musikanlage, TV und W-LAN sowie das Schlafzimmer mit großzügigem Stauraum hinter einer Schiebewand. Man erreicht die Wohnung über den Fahrstuhl zum dritten Stock und eine weitere Treppe zum Dachgeschoss hinauf. Die Altstadt und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie Bäckereien, Supermärkte und die Markthalle sind im Umkreis von zwei Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Fazit: Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Danke Patrice, uns Gästen ein so schönes Domizil auf Zeit zu überlassen.

Perfect!

I loved this place when I first spotted it on the VRBO site. Patrice actually came downstairs when he spotted us from the window and helped guide us to the building. Everything about the apartment is well thought out and so artful yet comfortable. My husband thought the bed was a bit uncomfortable but I thought it was fine. Loved the lift and the views from every window. I would stay there again without hesitation. Wonderful experience and great host.

Easy walking in Nimes

A great pied a terre with a lift for three of the four floors. The apartment was decorated like an art gallery with paintings on every wall, on every space. It was private and spacious for two. Restaurants, bars, museums, the smaller than Rome coliseum,the canal were walking distance in the centre of town. Our host Patrice informative and a gracious host in English or French.

Wonderful apartment in downtown Nimes

This apartment was originally lived in by Patrice, the owner and host. Much of his original furniture and especially artworks remain and it is a delight. Located on the 4th floor of an old building (with lift to 3rd level); but completed renovated in recent years, it is comfortable with everything one could want. We enjoyed it tremendously and would recommend it to any visitors to this very interesting and beautiful city. Patrice lives in the same building and was a very kind and attentive host.

The previous reviews have clearly stated how special this apartment is, and it is difficult to find new adjectives to add to the list! This sweet apartment is exceptional. Patrice has decorated with such love and passion, and as guests you feel that in every space. The paintings are beautiful, fun, and make this apartment so unique. Yes, the apartment is incredibly comfortable - a really peaceful place when you leave the heat and crowds after a fun day in town. Yes, the AC works and keeps the apartment nice and cool - it’s also very quiet. Yes, Patrice has stocked it with linens, dishware, cleaning products, etc. to make your stay pleasant. Yes, check -in and directions were easy and meticulous. Yes, Patrice is a gold star host! The most important thing is the cleanliness of this special space. It is truly spotless. Everything works as it is supposed to and this makes everything that is so special even more welcoming. The place feels like home. Thank you Patrice for sharing your exceptional space with us!

Un « sweet home » à découvrir sans hésitation

Très agréable séjour dans un appartement que nous connaissions déjà et avions apprécié à sa juste valeur ! Le mieux pour vous en rendre compte c’est de venir y séjourner ! A charming home away from home

This apartment could not have been more perfect for our stay in Nimes. It is located close to the indoor market, various shops, restaurants and boulangeries - all the things that were important to us. The apartment itself was charming. Cozy, filled with paintings and objets d’art, it was like living in a small art gallery with all the amenities of home. Our host Patrice was wonderful. He was there to greet us when we arrived and checked in every so often to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. He offered excellent suggestions for restaurants and places to visit while in Nimes. In brief, we highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Nimes.

Practically Perfect in Every Way!

We'd worried that the photos and reviews might be too good to be true, but WE were WRONG! This is the Mary Poppins apartment: Practically Perfect in EVERY Way! It was like living in a wonderful art gallery, in a well-located, exquisite historic neighborhood. Patrice was kind, generous in suggestions of restaurants, patisseries, and must-see places to visit. After eight nights, we didn't want to leave. We'll be back.
