Esta hermosa, recientemente decorado con 4 dormitorios y 2 baños es una fabulosa combinación de refinada decoración, comodidad y conveniencia. El corazón de la casa es su gran sala grande con la sala de estar con estufa de gas, comedor y cocina. Perfecto para la familia para reunir al final del día y compartir historias de sus aventuras en Grand Lake. Esta propiedad está en un lote enorme con una chimenea y zonas de estar fuera. Además, hay un amplio aparcamiento para coches y motos de nieve y remolques de embarcaciones. También hay una gran terraza con una parrilla de gas. Convenientemente ubicado en la ciudad donde usted será capaz de caminar hasta el lago, paseo marítimo, restaurantes y teatros. Great location. Five star property, but three star property management company. Only a block off the main board walk, three blocks from the lake, a rare find and a great size rental for a large family. Beautiful deck, fire pit, dog friendly. The property is five star. However, I feel bad for the owners because the property management company impacts the experience, weird corners are cut to pinch every penny possible. Be prepared to come with more than you have ever had to bring for a VRBO example only two dishwasher pods provided for a house that sleeps 8- for a four night booking- only one bathroom has hand soap- not both, not even a small amount of laundry soap provided to wash your items from the lake, no kleenex box in the house. Easily the least stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in and I certainly do not think this is the intention of the homeowner.

The property itself was generally fine, but there were several small inconveniences that added up and left us a bit disappointed. First, while there was a washer and dryer available, there was no laundry detergent provided—something we expected to be a basic supply. The property manager said it was because of the potential for allergies with different guests. It really should be made clear in the listing that guests need to bring their own.The key lockbox for the second floor didn’t open, which made check-in more difficult than it needed to be. The one on the ground floor did work.In terms of kitchen supplies, we were surprised to find no saran wrap or storage options for food—only two very small Tupperware containers that weren’t sufficient for leftovers.Lastly, we found it inconvenient that guests are expected to take the trash to a separate location rather than leaving it at the property. It’s not clear why the cleaning crew couldn’t handle this as part of the turnover process.Overall, the place had potential, but a few thoughtful improvements could make a big difference in the guest experience.

We loved walking up and down the wooden sidewalk, stopping in different restaurants and bars, and hitting ALL the ice cream shops. :) You cannot beat the location of this house, one block off the main street, less than a 10 minute walk to the lake and no more than a 10 minute drive to great hiking/Rocky Mountain National Park. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed to cook several meals at home. The grocery store in town is pretty pricey, so would recommend buying before you get to Grand Lake. Original plan was to stay in Estes Park, but a friend of mine (who lives in Colorado) recommended we go to Grand Lake instead, and we are so glad she did! We drove through Estes Park on our way home and was not impressed... tourist trap and LOTS of traffic. Cannot recommend this house and Grand Lake enough. We hope to be back someday!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife, three kids, and I stayed here for five nights. It had plenty of space for us. The kitchen was a good size and well equipped. The dining table was a good size for us all to eat and for board games. The deck looks south towards the boardwalk and was a nice place to sit and sip coffee. The best part is the location. The kids were able to walk to the playground, and we all walked to shops and restaurants and a show at the theater.

Everyone enjoyed skiing all around the lake, hiking with snow shoes, tubing at the Nordic Center with the young ones and skiing at the Nordic Center. Lots to do outside for all ages and that's what we like to provide for our families.

Comfy cabin!

We really enjoyed our weekend at this cabin! Great location to be able to walk to shops, lake, and restaurants. The cabin was clean and comfortable for our family of four.

Grand Splendor

The four of us loved this home for its coziness and location! We could walk to town to dine and shop. From our deck, we could hear the summer bands. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen completely stocked with all the necessities. We look forward to renting this home again!! Delightful stay!!!

Proximity to the town and trails is fantastic.Some furnishings need attention or updating, for example, three table lamps in the lower level bedrooms are unusable as they are missing on/off switches.Pros: place and location was great!Perfect for our group. Would love to stay there again. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cons: need to replace stove(two burners and oven didn’t work properly or not at all). Blender missing sealer ring. Pans need updating. A couple of casserole dishes would be helpful. Shower curtain rod in downstairs bathroom needs to be moved up higher so curtain doesn’t lay in bottom of tub. (Someone could slip on it.)

Perfect house and location

House was very clean without a bunch of deodorizer smells on everything. Plenty of bedrooms for 8 people, 3 being small children. Had a nice gas grill on deck. The fire pit was perfect for relaxing outside after dinner. Beds were comfortable and shower had great pressures. I suggest bringing your own paper towels and a few cascade pods for dishwasher. Very limited on those supplies. Be aware there is a restaurant a block away which had outdoor band playing till 10. Hard to get little ones to sleep since you could still hear them inside.

Family vacation

Son and family were happy in lower level portion ( three beds, bath with tub, and small TV / play area) while my husband and I had. Privacy in the upper floor bed with bath. The house was clean and comfy. The kitchen needs an upgrade. Electric range sometimes did not heat. Pots,pans,silverware, dishes were fine. A few additions to the prep utensils are needed. A spatula for indoor use, chef and paring knives ( sharp) , soup ladle A surprise was baby/toddler bowls and spoons. The view of town and proximity to downtown and the park were perfect. We Easy walk to the Lake. The management company was excellent. Helped find baby equipment rentals and checked up on us at the property to make sure everything was going well We would recommend this property to another family and return again if we visited Grand Lakes again

Park Avenue rates high on our Grand Lake stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It has become a family tradition for us to spend 3 nights every summer in Grand Lake. My parents started it and now we continue with sharing the experience with our grandkids. Park Ave. is a perfect house that provides bedrooms for mom; dad and kids on lower level and nana and papa on the main level. We were within walking distance of downtown shopping; lake; and other activities which allowed for everyone to come and go as they chose. So clean and well equipped; home away from home! We have stayed in many different locations but find Park Ave. to be our favorite!
