Tenemos un gran apartamento de lujo con cocina llamado Blue Lagoon que se encuentra en el Melia Tortuga Beach Resort & Spa de 5 estrellas en Cabo Verde, en la Isla de Sal, que se inauguró en mayo de 2011. Nuestro apartamento es único ya que tiene capacidad para 6 personas en dos amplias habitaciones y un cómodo sofá cama en la sala de estar. También cuenta con dos baños. Está a solo unos 10 minutos en coche del aeropuerto de Sal. Tortuga Resort se encuentra en una tranquila ubicación frente a la playa, a poca distancia a pie de la ciudad de Santa María, que es la principal ciudad turística de Sal. Por la noche, Santa María cuenta con un ambiente animado con una buena selección de bares y restaurantes.
Nuestro apartamento es un amplio y moderno apartamento de 2 dormitorios con 2 baños y está situado en la planta superior con un gran balcón. Tiene una vista parcial al mar.
Se diferencia de otros apartamentos en el complejo, ya que es un apartamento de lujo con instalaciones adicionales y toques personales. Por ejemplo, mientras que los otros apartamentos están amueblados de manera idéntica, hemos decorado nuestro apartamento con obras de arte únicas e interesantes de los propietarios de artistas locales. Esto ayuda a crear un ambiente relajante y una sensación de la cultura local. También hemos comprado un segundo sofá de cuero para la sala de estar para garantizar que haya un amplio espacio para un grupo de hasta 6 personas. Normalmente solo hay un sofá, pero sentimos que esto era insuficiente para nuestros huéspedes. El sofá adicional se convierte en una cómoda cama doble si es necesario. El Blue Lagoon también es único porque tenemos asientos en el balcón para 6 personas en lugar de los 4 asientos estándar. Toques adicionales incluyen espejos de tocador con estanterías en las habitaciones, hay mosquiteras en cada ventana y puertas de patio y tenemos un filtro de agua en la cocina que le proporciona agua potable. Hay una carpeta de bienvenida cuidadosamente preparada que detalla información local importante como números de emergencia, restaurantes locales.
El complejo incluye un hotel de 5 estrellas en Sol Melia con instalaciones completas que pueden ser utilizadas por nuestros huéspedes. Las fantásticas instalaciones de Tortuga incluyen 2 piscinas de agua dulce, 4 restaurantes que incluyen un sostén mediterráneo / italiano, restaurante deportivo, spa y club de playa.
El Tortuga Beach Resort cuenta con 4 bares que incluyen el bar del vestíbulo, el bar deportivo, el bar de la playa y el bar de la piscina.
También hay una piscina infantil y un miniclub infantil, un spa de lujo, gimnasio con equipos de última generación, entretenimiento nocturno regular, recepción / conserje las 24 horas y una variedad de tiendas.

Beautiful stay in Sal Cape Verde

Our stay was fabulous. The apartment was as described had everything we could have needed and more and on a lovely resort complex a two min taxi ride or 20min walk into nearest town if you wanted bur also restaurants and bars close by if you didnt want go far from apartment. Highly recommend. Great communication from owners. To get a real feel explore the island its amazing!

Lovely apartment in a hotel complex in Sal's best area

We have just spent Christmas week in this spacious and well looked after apartment. It was three of us and there was plenty of space, including a nice balcony. The apartment is within the Melia Tortuga hotel, so we could access all the pools, bars and entertainment. The hotel restaurants are also accessible, although the quality is average and prices are a bit on the high side, so we preferred to either cook, or eat out, either at the local beach restaurant or in Santa Maria where there are many good options. All in all it was a great week and the apartment's owners were very helpful.

The property exactly matched the description: it was roomy, elegant and extremely well-furnished

We had a great time and really enjoyed our holiday. The flat was very comfortable and well-equipped. The African art deco was impressive. The terrace was a big bonus, as we were able to eat outside. It was an advantage being on the Tortuga complex, as we were able to use all the facilities of the hotel. The beach and ocean are amazing. We did a tour of the island which has spectacular scenery. There's a lot of info in the flat, left by Clyde, which we found very useful, regarding places to visit, eat etc. Clyde was very quick to reply to our mails, and the couple of minor problems we had in the flat (broken kettle!) were remedied promptly. If you want to eat in, the kitchen has everything you need. If you want to eat out, the hotel restaurants are good, but not cheap by CV standards. There's a great restaurant on the beach at Ponta Preta - fantastic fresh fish. If you phone they'll pick you up and return you to the hotel for free. It's walkable during the day, - just along the beach from the hotel - but not in the evening. The walk into Santa Maria is a bit of a trek (at least for people of our age): best to get a taxi for 3 euros. But it is worth visiting the town. I think what we'll remember most about the holiday were the people: everybody was so friendly, helpful, smiling and happy. It was great!

A lovely spacious apartment.

The apartment was lovely. Spacious living and dining area and 2 nice rooms.The complex was very pleasant too and the beach was beautiful.We would have liked morning sun on the balcony but you can't have everything ! We had some minor problems with the property which were very quickly sorted out by the owner.Santa Maria had some very nice restaurants which was fortunate as eating in the hotel is very very expensive.The evening entertainment was loud but it finished at 10 pm so that was perfectly fine.It's definiltely a beach holiday as there is not much else to do on Sal.Weather was very nice.

Well appointed apartment

Other than a poor spell of weather, which can't be blamed on the owners, we had just about an absolutely perfect holiday. People were really friendly and helpful and the location was spot-on. Although slightly further from the beach than I would have liked, the walk through the complex was very pleasant and often amusing. The apartment itself was excellent, with everything we could have needed. Lunches and breakfasts were easily prepared, but ease of travelling (taxis available from reception) and a wide variety of choice in Santa Maria meant eating out was never a chore. Although there were numerous smaller café/bars serving enjoyable local produce at very reasonable prices, fine dining was also available around the pier and beachfront. The only disappointment in all this was the lack of desserts, although on the bright side, it does help the figure. As mentioned by the owner, Ponta Preta is well worth a visit. A 20 minute walk along the beach, the view itself is worth the walk, this small restaurant, has a great atmosphere, a great view and a well-priced menu and the staff are friendly and attentive. If you go nowhere else, please visit Ponta Preta. All in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, although as stated, the weather was pretty poor, cloudy and very windy and we would recommend this apartment as a great base.

Lovely spacious apartment in Cape Verde

This is my apartment to which I travel to on my own as the resort and island of sal are very safe. I eat out at the local restaurants in the town of Santa Maria which offer good quality food at reasonable prices. I enjoy the walk along the beach to the town and the weather has always been good. I love watching the sunset from the balcony ..This is a great place to relax and unwind as the island has a relaxing energy .

amazing apartment. and butiffull resort.

I had a fantastic holiday at Blue lagoon apartment. On tortuga beach resort. The apartment has everything you need to make your holiday special it is truly 5 star .very comfy with two lage leather sofas and all local artwork on the walls .the resort is very special with tropical gardens and fresh water pools and it is built on the beach..and only 3min taxi drive to santa Maria the local town were there Are loads of little bars and restaurants. When I was there I had two full weeks of sun which was very relaxing in Nov.

I am a alternative therapist and a karate instructor and my wife is a yoga teacher/yoga therapist and karate instructor.
We have been lucky enough to travel to many lovely destinations over the world , but fell in love with island of Sal 15 years ago, and we travel back and fo to the island of sal as often as we can.
The people are really friendly.
My wife often travels on her own as the island is very safe .
There are many restaurants and bars with new ones opening all the time .
If you are looking for a relaxing break with guaranteed sunshine this Is the best.
If you love waterspouts Diving snorkeling kite surfing ,surfing sal is brilliant.
There are lots of activities you can do
Full island tours .salt mine .zip wire. Electric bikes .Electric scooters. Beach buggies horse riding and golf .
Beautiful sandy beaches .
If you are thinking about visiting you won't be disappointed

It differs from other apartments on the resort as it is a deluxe apartment with additional facilities and personal touches. For example while the other apartments are furnished identically we have decorated our apartment with unique and interesting artwork sourced by the owners from local artists. This helps to create a relaxing ambience and a feel for the local culture. We have also purchased a second leather sofa for the living room to ensure that there is ample seating for a group of up to 6 people. Normally there is just one sofa provided but we felt this was insufficient for our guests. The additional sofa converts to a comfortable double bed if required. The Blue Lagoon is also unique in that we have balcony seating for 6 people rather than the standard 4 seats. Additional touches include vanity mirrors with shelving in the bedrooms. The owners have also carefully prepared a welcome folder which details important local information such as emergency numbers, local restaurants and ideas for days out and excursions.
