Una casa de familia por el mar

Una casa hermosa familia junto al mar. 200 metros de la calle larga playa de arena de Praa Sands. La mayoría de las habitaciones tienen vistas panorámicas al océano Atlántico. sala y comedor de planta abierta generosos con gran jardín. Hay un fuego de leña para los días más fríos y una barbacoa de gas para su uso.

Damos la bienvenida a los niños. Hay una silla alta y una caja de juegos infantiles, así como Sony Playstation y televisión por Internet para los días de lluvia. Las puertas de seguridad para niños están en la parte inferior y superior de las escaleras.

Lovely, comfortable home in a beautiful location. Praa sands beach in a 2 minute walk away and is large enough that you can find quiet spot even in high season. Convenient for many other great beaches and locations including the Minnack theatre, St Ives and St Michaels Mount. Check in was easy - the owners were helpful without being intrusive. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Excellent stay

Rainbow's end is a stylish home just a short walk (minutes) away from the beautiful beach at Praa sands. We particularly enjoyed the lovely garden and relaxed vibe of the home.

Lovely house in a quiet location

Praa Sands is a small little enclave and perfect for a quiet relaxing break. The house itself is lovely and our hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming. We hope to come back again soon.

Amazing house, tranquil location, ready for family fun

We had a great time staying at this property in Praa Sands. The location was ideal for us because we wanted to do day trips but avoid some of the crowds of places like St. Ives. The house was ideally set up for our three-generation group. We loved sitting out on the patio watching the ocean in the distance and we really enjoyed the proximity to the beach. The beach is really clean and nice and sandy. The owners were extremely responsive whenever we had questions - fantastic stay!

A little slice of heaven

I think it's true to say that we all fell in love with Rainbow's End. It's an amazing property in a perfect location. So nice to go to sleep listening to the sea and wake to the view of the bay. The fire pit was brilliant - the kids loved toasting marshmallows. And the outside shower was perfect to rinse off salt and sand in lovely warm water! I am sure we will be back!

Delightful beach home perfect for all weathers

We loved the location very near the beautiful sandy surfing beach of Praa Sands and also near the local Sandy Stores for daily fresh Cornish pasties and vicky’s fresh bread. Very tastefully furnished relaxing well designed property in an excellent location. Very responsive and helpful hosts. Informative literature and recommendations for local walks and outings. We had a week of rain and mist but that didn’t stop us from walking a lot and swimming (we had our wetsuits for extra insulation thankfully).

Beautiful home in an amazing beach location.

We all loved staying at Rainbow’s End in Praa Sands. The view of the sea from most rooms and the large raised garden decking really make the most of the beach location , and it’s only a 2 minute walk from the garden down to the long sandy beach . We were 3 generations staying in the house , and the layout meant it worked very well for everyone’s needs. It’s a well designed , light filled home . The quality and design of the fixtures and furniture , plus the interesting artwork and many books mean it felt very welcoming. We would love to stay again . Geraldine was a great host throughout , her communication was second to none , checking that we had everything we needed once we had arrived .

Beautiful cottage with sea views in a stunning location

Rainbow’s End is a stunning cottage in Praa Sands, which enjoys beautiful sea views from almost every window in the house! Kitchen is really modern and has all the utensils, pots, pans, etc you could ask for. The rest of the cottage is really homely, with comfy sofas, beds and bedding and also beautiful big bi fold doors allowing you to capture the full view! There are plenty of creature comforts such as tv, board games and dvd / PlayStation to enjoy. The outside space (deck and large garden) are superb for outside lunches, dinners or sundowners. The gas bbq is a welcome addition too :-) It’s a 5 minute walk to a mile long stretch of sandy beach, and from the beach (or road) you can walk 300-400m along to the beachside cafe and pub (bit busier but still plenty of space!)

Großartiger Urlaub in Praa Sands

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Kindern eine Woche in Rainbow's End und hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt. Die ganze Familie hat sich super wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist super großzügig, toll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wir hatten einige Regentage, so dass wir den Garten und die tolle Terrasse nicht ganz so oft genutzt haben. Aber auch bei regnerischen Tagen war das Haus klasse. Es gibt genug Platz um sich auch mal aus dem Weg zu gehen oder gemeinsam am Kamin zu sitzen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, wenn wir noch mal in die Gegend reisen.

Blissful stay at Rainbow's End

My family and I (two adults and two children aged 10 and 13) spent a blissful week at Rainbow's End to round off the school holidays. The weather was kind and Praa Sands beach was a revelation - golden sand, crystal clear water, rock pools and surf galore. However, the icing on the cake was staying at Rainbow's End which offers everything you could possibly want in a holiday home - from the expansive decking and garden with uninterrupted sea views, to the generously proportioned bedrooms, luxurious lounge areas and modern kitchen/diner. It's clearly a labour of love for the hosts who were in regular contact throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for having us, we'll definitely be back!

Fabulous house, fantastic location to explore south west Cornwall!

Couldn't have been in. a better place to explore South West Cornwall with a house overlooking one of the best beaches in Cornwall. Rainbow's End was perfect for our party of six, with lovely bedrooms, spacious living areas and a wonderful raised balcony overlooking the sea and the large gardens. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful in every way. The sandy beach is absolutely stunning with direct access to the Cornish Coastal Path. Lots to do - Lands End, Penzance just down the coast, St Michaels Mount, Cornish Seal Sanctuary, St Ives, plus lots of nice restaurants, and pubs on the doorstep, including a beach bar where you can sit and chill watching the sea and beach. Wish we had booked an extra week - it was a super holiday!

Wonderful

Das Haus von Geraldine and Stephen ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit stylischen Details. Kunst in Haus und Garten. Sie Aussicht vom Haus ist atemberaubend. Erster Blick morgens und letzter abends, aufs beruhigende weite Meer und die Küste Cornwalls. Praa Sands ist klein, fein und angenehm. Den schönen Strand zum baden und spazieren erreicht man in 2 Minuten. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl im Haus. Es ist wie eine Oase im touristischen Cornwall. Die Eigentümer sind hervorragende und sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber, alles hat super geklappt. Wir haben viele wunderschöne Wanderungen und Ausflüge in Städtchen und Gärten unternommen. Unser Highlight war der Besuch der Geevor Zinn Mine, sehr ergreifend. Herzlichen Dank Geraldine and Stephen, dass wir in eurem schönen Haus unsere Ferien verbringen durften.

A perfect week in Cornwall

Rainbows end is so well located. Not just for immediate access to coastal path and peas sands beach but for exploring the best beaches in Cornwall. Every day was filled with exploring the coastline. The house itself was a great and we loved staying here. Perfect views of the sea. Thank you

Just fantastic

Geraldine is a great host who was very responsive to all our requests and clear and timely in her communications. The house itself is amazing and very homely. On hot days there is the beautiful garden and nearby beach, and on days where the weather lets you down there is plenty of space to relax and unwind whilst looking out to sea. The location is great - close enough to all major attractions and far enough away from all the madding crowds. It really didn't disappoint in any way. We really hope to return one day if we can.

Comfortable home with great sea views

Spacious well equipped comfortable family house with personal touches of artwork. Great balcony for taking in the sea views, in good location close to the beach and local shops. Made a great base for exploring this area, Geraldine was always quick to respond to any queries. Would love to stay again!

Perfect Location!

Rainbows End was the perfect place for a relaxing week by the sea. Beautiful views from the house. The beach is stunning, so so close and very quiet - even though we visited during a very warm and sunny school holiday and know other beaches were packed! Very easy access to the nearby towns and villages along the coast. Geraldine is a fabulous host and replies v.quickly!

Praa Sands is an old fashioned seaside resort with a beautiful beach. We love the peace and lovely views. There are great coastal walks whether you go east or west from the house and beautiful places nearby like Loe Bar lake near Porthleven. Supermarkets are a 10 minute drive away in Penzance and Helston. There is a small and well stocked Coop 2 miles from the house.

Beautiful and restful location by the sea. The mile long sandy beach can be reached by walking through the garden and along a short path. There is a family friendly pub and beach cafe. The western end of the beach is busier in the summer and the eastern end is usually quiet. There are sea-views from most rooms and an expansive deck with large garden.
