The apartment is located just steps from the famous Piazza Santa Croce, with its imposing church and enchanting cloister.

The area is easily accessible from the Santa Maria Novella train station on foot (1 km), by bus (line C2), or by taxi.

Awesome place in a great location

The owners are great and helpful. The vrbo is perfect. Has everything you need and the bed was big and comfortable, the vrbo was clean, and the location is unbeatable. It is so easy to walk to everything you want to see and do. I highly recommend staying here!

Great location, property just okay

We had a nice stay in this apartment and were very pleased about the location in the center of Florence. I’ve seen other reviews describe the property as “stark”…..and I think that best describes the interior of the apartment. We had everything we needed to get by… but nothing more. We also experienced a persistent smell in the kitchen that we could not get rid of… we think it was coming from the washer drain or from behind the washer. Overall it was a good stay

Just close enough

This one room + kitchen studio was just close enough to everything we wanted to see yet a short walk away from the crowds near the Duomo. We walked to all the museums and the Market Centrale. Very convenient grocery store just a block away and a lovely little Vietnamese restaurant just steps from the apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Just one flight up

Very convenient location in Florence, the only transport we took was the taxi from and to the train station. Everything is within walking distance. There are lots of great restaurants on the block. Paola was extremely communicative and helpful and helped us book a taxi to to train station when the taxi line had a long queue and was in Italian. The place was clean and spacious, very comfortable stay! It was very helpful that there was a washing machine available. The bathroom was clean, the shower is small as other reviews have mentioned. Highly recommend Paola’s place for your next visit to Florence!

Good space in a Wonderful Location

The apartment is in a great location just a short distance from all the major attractions in Florence. The amount of space was good. Why just three stars? The apartment lacked shelf space. It had very little furniture. There were no shelves in the bathroom. In the bedroom there were two small night tables. There was an ancient wardrobe without shelves that looked like it had been found on a street corner. There was no dresser or shelves in the bedroom. For five days we lived out of our suitcases on the floor. I urge the owners to toss the old wardrobe and add some dressers with drawers or shelves to the bedroom and the bathroom. The apartment would have earned a five if it had these things.

Basic Comfort

The property was over all good. Be aware the steps up are narrow and steep so not fun with medium suitcase. The kitchen was fully outfitted including salt and pepper. The shower was VERY SMALL. Two people can not shower together and I kept bumping into the walls, door etc. I am a 5'4" female, average build and it was a tight fit for me. I have a thing about stray hair and there was stray hair on the floor in the bathroom, on the radiator in the bedroom, etc that wasn't mine. Kinda gross. There was also a weird unpleasant smell in the kitchen but I couldn't find a source. Bed was reasonably comfortable but not luxurious. No top sheet provided just a fitted sheet and a quilt. The amenities were as described for the most part. The main attractions were in walking distance. I like walking the city but if you aren't up for 3-5 miles per day then you might want to stay closer to attractions because most things are about 1-3 miles away so round trip you will walk 2-6 miles per day in addition to walking the attractions themselves like climbing 400 steps at the Duomo. I didn't spend much time in this apartment as I was mostly touring but I did cook several meals here as I have a restricted diet and the kitchen had everything I needed. There are several supermarkets within a few blocks of the apartment.

Pour pouvoir rentrer il faut contacter le propriètaire devant l'immeuble par WhatsApp, donc avoir le wifi, elle très rapide à réagir mais système est compliqué si on arrive de l'étranger, à l'arrivée il y avait une forte odeur de mélange d'humidité et l' eau de javel, il y avait une fuite d'eau derrière les toilettes. La propriétaire à vite réagi, est ce qui m'a aussi dérangé aussi, c'est de payer comptant la taxe de séjour 5,5 euro par personne et par jours au lieu de faire ça par virement, comme de nos jours tout avec des cartes de crédits on ne fait pas forcément de change si on vient de l'étranger

Séjour à Florence

Le logement est petit et situé près de l’église Santa Croze, au cœur de l’action et peut être bruyant les jours de fête. Assurez vous d’avoir la possibilité de communiquer avec le propriétaire pour l’arrivée (téléphone ou e-mail) afin qu’il puisse vous donner l’accès à la propriété car il n’est pas présent à l’accueil. Nous y avons passé un beau séjour.

Well located in the center of Florence

The apartment is well located close to all major Florence attractions. This is it's most appealing attribute. Though I found it to be somewhat thoughtfully decorated, all finishes, linens and upholstery/furniture covers were extremely worn and the place needs freshened up quite a bit. The owner was responsive when I addressed my concerns with her, but, nothing was really done short of another cleaning and fresh towels in the bathroom. I would not stay here again, unfortunately, until the furnishings are updated and cleaned properly between guests.

Honeymoon stop in Florence

This property was exactly as described and was nice and roomy, which we really appreciated after having had very small rooms at previous locations. The location was walking distance to all the tourist areas of Florence which was very convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a grocery store less than 5 minutes away. The only negative was that the shower was very small, but we already knew that in advance because we had read other reviews. Oh, and one more thing...it was really great having Netflix on a nice TV to watch in the evening. Our stay in Florence was lovely. Thank you Paola for being so accomodating.

Enjoyed it

Enjoyed it. We could walk to the Duomo in about 10 minutes. The apartment was very nice. The only issue we had was with the shower which was simply too small.

Florence gem

We really enjoyed this experience. The apartment is located in a great area in the heart of Florence. As such there is a lot of activity around. The owner has replaced the windows with new windows that really keep the sound out you wouldn’t know all that is going on just below you. The decor is lovely and the apartment is very clean. They had Netflix which was great at the end of a long walking day to watch one of your favourite shows. Would highly recommend staying here.

For the price and the location this is a 5 star!!

Nice and spacious with reasonably comfortable bed (one can never replicate your own). All the finishing touches to the apartment were so nice. The coffee maker, the netflix, the special room lighting, and of course the decor of the angels. The location is amazing, walking distance to everything you could want. Any type of restaurant and shopping at your finger tips.Make sure you have the owners correct number, so you can communicate if need be. We enjoyed our time there.
