Un encantador apartamento del primer piso de vacaciones, que forma parte de una casa adosada, pero con su propia entrada privada, en las afueras de la localidad de Crieff en medio de un hermoso paisaje de Perthshire. Reformado, decorado y amueblado con un alto estándar, este apartamento de alquiler es ideal para familias o amigos que buscan un excelente refugio en una hermosa parte de Escocia.

Esta hermosa casa de campo está a sólo unos minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad con una variada selección de tiendas, cafeterías y bares. Muy cerca se puede descubrir la forma en copa de cristal se realiza en el Centro de Visitantes de cristal Caithness, o explorar el mundo de whisky en el Famous Grouse Experience. El centro de ocio cuenta con una piscina, gimnasio y pistas de squash.

The Best!

The Garden Flat was absolutely perfect! So clean and comfortable that it was hard to leave. Very quiet even though on a busy street. Easy to walk to Main Street…just a minimal elevation gain. Parking was easy. And every appliance worked! Lesley and Richard are the perfect hosts and wanted us to be content…and we were! Jean and Jerry

Peferct Tonic

Lovely property and as the pictures showed, spacious and very clean with big spacious rooms. Lovely and well kept garden with the weather being kind to us with a week of sunshine during our stay. Only issue which didn't affect our stay was the parking which was out of anyone's hands as they were doing roadworks out the front. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again when we are next up. John and Lesley were in communication with us prior to our arrival and on hand if we needed any help during our stay. See you again!!

The Garden Flat Oasis

We booked the flat for the weekend as we were coming up to see The Solheim Cup. We had a warm and friendly welcome from the Shearers when we arrived . The flat was tastefully decorated with Scottish touches. The bed linen was crisp, white cotton and the beds were very cosy and comfortable. Towels were provided and there was always hot water when needed . Although we ate out every night we could see that the kitchen was well equipped . At the end of the evening we sat around the fireplace in the lovely, warm and cosy lounge. I use the word cosy a lot , because that is what the flat is. The enclosed garden was lovely, but because of the golf and it being a tad chilly we didn’t sit in it. If we were ever considering a visit to the area again and were looking for a flat to stay in The Garden Flat would be top of the list . We referred to it as home when we were out and about . It was an Oasis for our stay and Europe won the Solheim Cup too .

Estupendo apartamento

Magnífico en todo momento el trato de John y Lesley. Muy amables y atentos. Crieff es un lugar precioso, como toda Escocia. Es fácil llegar al apartamento, que es como aparece en las fotos. Es amplio, luminoso y my agradable. Estaba muy limpio. La cama de matrimonio es inmensa y muy cómoda. En la parte de atrás se baja a un pequeño pero coqueto y florido jardín, de hierba mullida. Está a unos 10 minutos caminando del centro de la localidad. A unos cinco minutos caminando hay dos supermercados, uno de ellos bastante grande (Co-Coperative food). Recomiendo también un pub, Square Bar and Kitchen, regentando por un chico español. Es amplio, correctamente ambientado y donde se come bien. Al estar Crieff bastate centrado en el país, y haber alquilado un vehículo, pudimos realizar distintas excursiones a los cuatro puntos cardinales de Escocia. Sinceramente, nos ha encantado el viaje (hemos estado una semana) y el trato tan educado y amable de sus gentes. Y, por supuesto, recomiendo esl apartamento de Lesley y John

The Garden Flat es uno de esos apartamentos que verdaderamente merece la pena disfrutar y se corresponde con creces con lo descrito en la web. Todas las habitaciones están perfectamente equipadas y con una decoración de lo más acogedora. Además John y Lesley se han preocupado de dejar información a tu disposición para ayudarte en tu estancia y elegir las actividades que más te apetezcan, así como de restaurantes y tiendas de la zona. La población de Crieff es muy tranquila y coqueta, y por su situación geográfica sirve de base para poder conocer toda la zona centro de Escocia sin tener que realizar desplazamientos excesivamente largos. No obstante, si hay algo que destacar, es la maravillosa atención de John y de Lesley, tanto en los diversos correos electrónicos que hemos intercambiado, como en las conversaciones telefónicas mantenidas. Es por tanto, uno de esos alojamientos que hay que recomendar sin ninguna duda.

We had a wonderful stay!

We didn't stay that long, but the time we spent at the garden flat was wonderful and I highly recommend this flat. From the moment we made the reservation, until the moment we left, communication with Lesley and John was perfect. They are very kind people who made sure our stay was very comfortable. They made sure we knew what to expect, and even though we arrived a little late, we could still check in to the flat. Everything you'd want during your stay is present at the flat (shower,towels,tv,well stocked kitchen, etc). It's very cosy, and when it's cold outside, the heating will warm you up very quickly. The location of the flat is perfect - a supermarket and multiple cosy restaurants at walking distance, and beautiful nature and much to explore nearby. Thanks again for having us!

Perfect Base for Exploration!

Utterly fabulous little flat with everything you could possibly want, decorated beautifully. The kitchen is small but perfectly formed and the wealth of information on the local area borders on overwhelming! Absolutely would stay again.

This is a beautiful flat with everything you would wish for in a holiday let. I cannot find fault with anything. Beds super comfy, what you need after a long day. Would like to have used the beautiful garden but the weather denied us that pleasure. Would certainly use this place again.

Sehr schöne Location - all what you need and more

Super Location um die Gegend zu erkunden. Auch Edinburgh und Glasgow ist gut zu erreichen. Die Wohnung hatte alles was wir brauchten. Wir konnten den schönen Garten leider nicht nutzen, da wir die ganze Zeit unterwegs waren. Crieff ist ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. John und Lesley waren sehr freundlich und haben sich um alles super gekümmert. Jederzeit wieder gerne.

clean, comfortable, well cared for, and excellent location

The flat was exactly as described by owners John and Lesley. The kitchen was outfitted with good quality cookware so we were able to prepare meals when we wanted. Also, we could walk to the Co-op, (grocery store), and to many restaurants and pubs. We were even able to take a hike to the Famous Grouse distillery so we could enjoy samples without driving the car. Both Crieff and this flat are lovely and we will return.

A very compact flat, but has all that is needed for a short break.

We found the accommodation very comfortable. The situation is an ideal base for travelling about to see the wider area. We were in Stirling, Dunblane, Perth and most of south Perthshire. The scenery in some of these places is stunning. For history buffs it is a great area. The weather was not too bad either!!

John and Lesley have moved around the UK and have now settled in Scotland. They run a company specialising in indirect tax issues. Both are very fond of Perthshire and surrounding areas and especially enjoy their sailing and walking at the nearby beautiful Loch Earn.

We particularly like this area of Scotland as it very central for exploring other parts such as the west coast, the Trossachs and further north. Edinburgh, Stirling, Glasgow, Inverness and Perth are easily reached. Crieff itself has many attractions for visitors. The facilities of the nearby new leisure centre include a swimming pool. Macrosty Park within the town is very pleasant and provides an excellent playground and refreshment pavilion. The famous Grouse Distillery is open to visitors and has an excellent restaurant.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We chose this flat because of its age and character and as it has its own private garden which is so nice to relax in with a glass of wine after a day out. The property is traditionally stone built and is around 100 years old. Finally we just love Crieff and the locality. Within walking distance is the town itself and within a short drive Comrie, St. Fillans and the beautiful Loch Earn are reachable in under half an hour. Loch Tay is also only about an hour away. In August each year the Crieff Highland Games are held in the games field adjacent to the flat. The surrounding countryside is wonderful for walking and cycling. We offer lockable storage for cycles within the garden (with cycle access via garden gate to side road.
