Enclavada en una "cresta" de Blueberry Hill con incomparables vistas de 360 grados, Casa de Legado es un santuario privado y sereno, ubicado entre el pueblo de Taos y el valle de esquí de Taos. Los huéspedes disfrutan de la facilidad de ir y venir de todos los rincones de las actividades de Taos y lugares con muy poco tráfico.

Antiguamente la casa de un artista Taos conocida, la Casa de Legado está llena de encanto suroeste y el ambiente. Disfrute de la rica experiencia de románticos arcos de adobe, pisos de baldosas de Saltillo, dos de madera hecho a mano chimeneas kiva quema mano tradicional y techos de viga auténticas partes.

Central en el plan de piso es la sala de estar hundida con TV vía satélite de pantalla plana grande y diseño personalizado, hecho a mano madera chimenea quema kiva. Todas las habitaciones se ramifican a partir de ahí incluido el gran y grandioso "bono" sala de sol con la olla de hierro fundido vientre chimenea y 3 piso a las paredes de ventanas de techo, creando una grandeza brillante y edificante. La sala de sol, amueblado con un cómodo sofá grande, mesa redonda y sillas de comedor, juegos, computadoras y café de la mañana, ofrece grandes vistas con todas las actividades.

Además de las dos salas de estar y 360 vistas panorámicas de las montañas, es el equipamiento adicional de una terraza con vistas. La cubierta domina una gran bañera de hidromasaje para "estrellados, noches estrelladas", como la mayoría de la gente nunca ha visto, añadiendo así una experiencia visual más raro y relajante. El "chiminea" tradicional (suroeste chimenea olla de barro) agrega calor por la noche y el ambiente. ¡Sí! Taos realmente tiene noches aire de montaña deliciosamente fresco durante todo el verano, todo para disfrute de los huéspedes.

La exclusiva zona de cocina / comedor totalmente amueblado tiene vistas a través de la sala de estar hundida a la chimenea kiva para mayor ambiente de comedor. Junto a la zona de comedor hay un patio cerrado con parrilla de gas para disfrutar de una barbacoa.

Las dos habitaciones disfrutan de una barrera de sonido doble con dos de vuelta hacia atrás baños situado entre ellos.

Taos is beautiful and this home fits in so well with the natural outdoor beauty of the area. Being in the sunroom is like being in a painting. The home is comfortable and lovely. The host was helpful and communicative. We couldn’t have asked for more and will be back.

A great location for sure! The views of the mountains in a couple directions were special and downtown was an easy 15 min. drive. The house was spacious and very well decorated with art. Please note this is only a 2 BR house. My only negative - provide some space to put away clothes in a dresser. Overall my daughter and I loved our stay.

Sweet place to stay near Taos

Nice home, close to Taos, we'll furnished and spacious. Dark skies made it possible to see the Milky Way from the hot tub. Highly recommend!

The property itself, could benefit from some tlc (especially indoors), it’s clear that overall upkeep of this home isn’t a priority. Overall it was clean, some cobwebs and you’re out in a rural area, to be expected. Unfortunately, it was unseasonably hotter than usual, thankful there was a portable cooler that helped regulate the living spaces. Opening up the house in the morning helped a lot, except several windows don’t have screens, so that made it tricky. It was comfortable to sleep at night.The contact person was wonderful and super communicative. And we would recommend with a strong maybe yes.

Beautiful home, lots of space inddors and out. Lots of windows for natural light and views. Clean and well stocked with essentials. Great communication. Plenty of parking, if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will look forward to returning to Taos again.

Semi secluded relaxing property

This house was much nicer in person than in the pics. I was worried that since you can have animals in this property it might not be pleasant smelling however it was great. The only thing i wished it had was an enclosed fence. I forgot my dogs lead so she was confined to the patio or me walking her on a leash. If you can not relax here than you can not relax anywhere!

Great house but why is the only security camera pointed right at the hot tub?

First time we were in the hot tub was at night so did not notice until the next morning that there is a webcam pointed directly at the hot tub. That is the only web camera on the exterior of the property so it felt creepy. It would’ve been less so if it was disclosed beforehand. I like to give the benefit of the doubt that the owners simply have concerns about people damaging or misusing the tub. But not disclosing makes it unethical in my opinion. We’ve stayed at other short term rentals in the area that everything except the hot tub had cameras and those cameras were fully disclosed from the beginning.

Property was dirty and the smell was horrible.

This was not a pleasant stay. Not clean, old towels. Pans for cooking should be replaced. We had to purchase a pan to cook. What I paid a night, I should have just slept in a tent.

Renters Beware Hidden Camera Looking at “Private” Hot Tub

Over all the house is nice and clean, but on our second day we discovered a hidden camera that is not disclosed to renters looking at the “Private” Hot Tub. After contacting the caretaker and informing them of VRBO policy of disclosing cameras facing hot tubs we were told it was for the house security but it had also been turned off since we arrived!!!! Ya right I informed them that the hidden camera is creepy and felt like a pervert is watching the hot tub. Mind you that the camera isn’t facing the outdoor shed or patio that had no lights working on it. It is just facing the hot tub. The ad doesn’t disclose the camera and none of the paperwork in the house disclosed the camera Facing the so called Private HOT Tub!!!! We did file a complaint with VRBO with pictures. We felt like if the perverts would want to watch a hot tub what else are they watching with cameras!!! Renters Beware!!!!!

A legacy of memories

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Casa de Legado (Legacy House) was wonderful. We stayed at the house for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The kitchen was well appointed. We prepared several meals and everything you need for basic cooking is provided. The living room was comfortable and cozy, especially while watching the snow fall in the courtyard. The family room area was perfect for playing cards and gazing at the snow. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were perfect for the stay. The only thing I was not fond of was the number of steps in the house. Down 2 steps to the living room from the front door. Up 2 steps to the kitchen. Up one step to the family room. Down 1 step to the bedrooms. Not my taste, but didn't affect our overall enjoyment of the property.

Terrific property; needs some finishing touches to meet PP stds.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home and property! Just not up to Premier Properties standards. Looked like the owners high-tailed it out of there leaving behind clothes in the drawers and closets, used soaps and other such stuff but no Kleenex, no napkins ... We arrived after 10 days traveling and would have appreciated basic toiletries to cover us until we could get to the store (shampoo, conditioner, etc.). We had a hard time finding the house, possibly because the front light was out, as was the laundry room light. The linens in the MBR were under sized and there was no humidifier (there was one in the other BR). Then there was the hot tub debacle (we were so bummed not to be able to use it until the last night). We haven't stayed at a PP property in several years so maybe the standards have changed. But, I must say that Traci, the property manager, and Gary from PP were really great. All in all the home is close to being a Premier Property. Just a few polishing touches to consider.

Peaceful Retreat

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend with our dog to celebrate our anniversary. The house was beautiful. Very nice touches throughout the house, the decor was great. Neighborhood is quiet and very accessible. About a 10 to 15 min drive to town. Hot tub was splendid. This is a big space and can fit a lot of people. WiFi worked great and the TV was excellent. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but did notice a few areas of improvement. We weren't provided with any lighters or firestarters to use the fireplace. The listing mentioned a closed in patio but it looks like the gates have been removed. The caretaker advised us that there was a baby gate on site but we weren't able to find it. We were told to use chairs to block off the patio. It snowed while we were here and a few leaks popped up. The caretaker was disappointed to hear this as the roof was recently fixed. It was just one leak at first over the fireplace but then a few more started in the sun room. Nothing serious, but had we spent more time at the house the dripping sound would have been more of an issue. We were also disappointed in the toiletries. For the price per night we expected a bit more than dollar store products. The closet in the master smelled really weird so we couldn't unpack our clothes. The sun room was cold and the space heater never stopped smelling. The rest of the house was warm. A few things needed upkeep here and there but still an enjoyable stay!

Nice property, with problems

My wife and I were looking forward to a relaxing three week vacation to Taos to celebrate our anniversary. After a few days we noticed a dead animal like smell coming from the master bathroom, soon to morph into a raw sewage smell. It was horrible enough that we had to seal off the master bedroom from the rest of the house and spent the rest of our time in the smaller second bedroom. The initial problem was addressed by replacing the toilet seal and servicing the septic system, but the smell still continued. I'm not sure what, if any, service was performed after we left. The house itself has a nice layout and is comfortable for the most part but it has several problems. When we first arrived we noticed that the "sun room" was extremely warm, heating the whole house to an uncomfortable degree. We notified Terra, the caretaker. She was a great help throughout. She got us some curtains for the sun room windows (there were none there) and that helped a little with the heat. We tried to open the windows in the room but several of them did not work. This would be a great room in the winter, but as mentioned in an earlier review, it was much too warm in the summer. The room now has a day bed, that is not shown in the listing, that makes it feel a little cramped. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials (contrary to an earlier review) but there is very little pantry space and the condensation from the ice maker fills the refrigerator with water. We enjoyed the two outdoor areas but the deck by the hot tub did not have the dining table as pictured in the listing. In addition neither of the large outdoor table umbrellas were functional. We feel that this could be a nice property but not until the maintenance problems have been addressed.

Taos at it's best

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were in Taos for our friend's daughter's wedding. I can't tell you how wonderful Terra, the onsite mgr. was during our stay. We unfortunately had to change houses, and Terra managed to arraign the transfer in MINUTES! The new house was adorable. She made the transition seamless and comfortable. I can't say enough about her and Premier Properties. Any time you are in Taos, make your arraignments through her.you won't regret it. Thanks again Terra for making our stay so wonderful
