Second visit

Our second visit to this beautiful home and it didn’t disappoint. We had a fun and relaxing holiday. During our stay we visited Carcassonne, a medieval city-you should definitely visit at only an hour away by car. The locals were really kind and friendly. Marie was also a delightful and helpful host whose friendliness and communication was amazing.

Lovely Pool Area and Garden

This is a beautiful family owned property near Castres which the owners rent out over the summer. It has a stunningly beautiful pool area and outdoor lounge, dining room and kitchen. The owners are very accommodating. Expect to pay 30 euros per person for towels and linen on top. We had a lovely stay thank you.

This house was ideal for our needs. Plenty of quiet outdoor space and a swimming pool that our 7 year old loved. Indoors we used the three downstairs bedrooms.We would have preferred aircon in the third bedroom as well as the other two as it got quite warm when we used the ensuite shower.The lounge and conservatory were perfect and the kitchen met all our needs as we chose to eat in most of the time sampling local produce and wines.We visited Albi and its brick built cathedral, also the Toulouse Lautrec museum; also the amazing medieval centre of Cracassonne. We saw the 14th July parade at Castres then toured the Goya museum. We saw one stage of the 2025 Tour de France and finished up at visiting the Peyro Clabado at Sidobre which was an unexpected treat.A most enjoyable holiday!

Rest & Relaxation

The perfect location for rest & relaxation. This a lovely house. Secluded and peaceful, yet minutes away from all the amenities you will need. Lounge by the large pool, eat and cook in numerous locations, have a game of ping pong or boule, enjoy a dip in the jacuzzi, or watch a late-night movie in the spacious, luxurious lounge. We stayed for a week and only popped out once.

Beautiful Villa

Had a wonderful week in this large, comfortable Villa - everything is there for outdoor living - large pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, bbq and dining area! At night the lighting outside is stunning and makes for relaxing evenings in the garden! 5 minutes away you will find the lake perfect for walking and water sports! A short drive away are supermarkets, shops and restaurants! We loved Sammy’s Diner! Thank you Marie

A great house

We had such a lovely stay here. The host is friendly and it's a nice interior. It's the exterior that makes it though. Massive pool, hot tub, well equipped outdoor kitchen and dining, and lots of seating. Plus a large garden and petanque pitch. This is a family home so there are lots of ornaments, vases etc... which makes it attractive but could be tricky with toddlers. And there are one or 2 little quirks (we battled with the electric gates everytime we went out) but it is a brilliant place and really good value. We would happily stay again.

Amazing Property with fantastic Pool

We stayed at Maria's house for a week with two teenagers and an 11-year-old. The house was perfect for us, offering plenty of sleeping arrangements and bathrooms. The house was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor kitchen and dining area were a lovely addition, and we spent most of our meal times outside. The highlight of the property is the beautifully landscaped garden, featuring a large pool, table tennis, and boules. There is a bakery within 5 mins drive and supermarkets within 10 min drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maria's beautiful home and we will definitely return.

Wonderful Holiday

When entering the property the driveway is overwhelminly stunning. We were met at the property for an introduction to the facilities and warmly welcomed to a family home. First glances the property is beautifu, after the first night of settling in, we discovered the jacuzzi was out of order and there was no charcoal bbq, however the outdoor kitchen grill was good to cook on. Around the pool there are some loose boards with screw heads sticking up so we covered them with towels so the children didnt get hurt. The pool was clean and large, we used it ALOT! We had so much fun!!! At about 5pm the mosquitoes turn up and they are relentless, this of course is not a problem the owner can change, but we must have spent near on £60 on mosquito repellent and candles/buners while we were there and we all still got bitten alot, so by the 3rd day we ate our evening meal inside, and ade sure we didnt have any windows or doors open at all for the rest of our stay. The lounge area is beautiful and family friendly with plenty of space to sit and relax. The kitchen areas are well stocked with everything ou could need, however look out for the private notices on some crockery. The aircon in conservatory works a treat and provided a well needed cool space some days. The area is going through some reconstruction with the A69 at the moment, so he lake area is no longer accessible by walking, but it is a very short 5 min drive away. Over all we had a great 8 days s are spavious

La propriété est incroyable

Séjour au calme

Maison super agréable autant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur avec les ptites lumières. Région agréable (musée, lac, albi à découvrir) et de nombreuses spécialités (fromages, charcuteries et desserts). nous recommandons la halle à Castres, marché à Revel, tous les commerçants vraiment chaleureux et accueillants. Séjour à reconduire. Merci pour l'accueil également.

Vacances zen

La Maison de Marie est très agréable et au calme surtout l’extérieur où nous étions le plus souvent. De nombreux endroits aménagés pour se detendre : piscine, ping pong petanque, chaises longues sous les oliviers, salon sous un grand abris très sympa pour prendre l’apéro. Beaucoup de charme le soir grâce aux nombreux éclairages Nous etions 3 couples plus une jeune fille de 18 ans. Très bon séjour

Magnifique, reposant et calme

La villa est magnifique et surtout conforme aux photos sur le site. Marie là proprio est au petit soin et à l écoute pour tout super adorable Notre séjour était magnifique et très reposant avec cette énorme piscine et relaxant avec le jacuzzi Dans un espace de verdure bien fleurie et bien entretenue Nous sommes à 2 minutes du centre commercial Ce qui est très pratique et facile (Auchan,boulangerie,McDo,bugerking….) Je recommande cette villa sans hésitation Et si nous avons l opportunité nous y retournerons les yeux fermés Encore merci pour tout Marie Carmela

Tranquillité, espace, détente, ..., de bons moments !

Très belle propriété avec un niveau de prestation élevée correspondant à la description de l'annonce. A noter le calme de la propriété, très reposant, le plaisir de se retrouver en famille le soir avec les nombreux éclairages qui délivrent une ambiance apaisante, et surtout, les interactions avec Marie qui reste très à l'écoute et s'assure en permanence que notre séjour se déroule sans tracas. Merci pour cette parenthèse.

Heerlijk huis, super zwembad en buiten meer dan genoeg plekken om te ontbijten, eten en te borrelen. Rustig, mooi en van alle gemakken voorzien!! Zelfs en koelkast en een vaatwasser buiten! Super 😊

Stunning, quiet and relaxing.

We had a wonderful weeks holiday in this beautiful, clean and comfortable villa. Marie greeted us when we arrived and showed us around her beautiful home. She was so welcoming and friendly. We instantly felt relaxed and knew our week here would be fantastic. We particularly loved the outdoor kitchen/dining area and it was great for the 8 of us to sit outside and enjoy our surroundings. At night the pool and hot tub area as well as garden looks absolutely beautiful with added lights- really enchanting. During the day we all, children and adults enjoyed the pool and had lots of fun. Sometimes you can hear people that are down by the nearby lake, it’s not annoying at all as you can hear people that are happy. We also delighted in hearing our neighbouring donkey- you’ll only hear him maybe twice a day but he’ll definitely make you smile! We walked to the nearby lake, here you can do water sports such as paddle boarding. There is also a park and a horse riding centre and the locals were extremely friendly. Lidls or Auschun supermarket are about 5 minutes away by car so really convenient. This villa is in a really relaxing, idyllic location and you’ll not be disappointed. We would definitely like to return in the future. Thank you Marie!

Beautiful house with everythimg you’ll need

Stayed here with two families (4 adults, 4 kids) for two weeks and it was great. Everything you need is there. The patio at the pool, the jacuzzi and the fully equipped outside kitchen added a lot of value to our vacation. The inside space is large and organized in a way that you can easily stay here with two families without bothering eachother to much. Shops and restaurants are nearby. The only downside mentionable here is the status of the terrace tiles around the pool. Throughout the years they have shifted a lot and you can hurt your feet if you aren’t careful. But it is a minor issue compared to all the positives. The host, Marie is very friendly and responding quicly to all requests.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Haus, dass alles hat was man braucht. Das Anwesen ist sehr ruhig gelegen und bietet viel Privatsphäre..! Im Jacuzzi kann man ganz wunderbar entspannen, mit Blick in den Garten und die umliegende Landschaft.. Aber auch Teenager haben ihren Spass! Ein paar Runden Tischtennis und dann Spiel und Spass im grossen Pool.. Zum Einkaufen fährt man nur wenige Minuten und es gibt einige schöne Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Eigentümer. Für uns war es ein perfekter Urlaub und wir können das Haus absolut weiterempfehlen..!
