Lovely property, perfect for our family of 6. Great amenities and well stocked with essentials.

Great location with short driving distance to Trouville/Deauville plus Honfleur.Approx one hours drive to Omaha beach.The house has a great view over the valley and a very spacious garden with a nice large pool.Kitchen is well equipped and it’s easy to enjoy local foods either at home or in some of the nice restaurants near by.Alexandre responded fast and provided plenty of good recommendations for sights, restaurants etc.

Charming mill with beautiful nature and cozy living

We (2 danish families) spend a week in the old cider mill and we loved it. Alexandre was very easy to communicate with and he mades us feel right at home. The main house is big, cozy and almost museum like feel, because of the history of the house. The side house was great to have, to let people draw away for some lazy time. The pool and garden was lovely, private and the view and surroundings charming and beautiful. Off course this is an old house, so dont expect the newest of the new. The cider mill has everything we needed for a perfect and fun family holiday. Make sure you have a car to go the the near by villages or further to the D day beaches, Bayeux, Mont Saint Michel etc. Dont fill up your car before arriving, because you will need the extra space on the way home for cheese, wine, cider, calvados and all the other tempting foods and drinks you can buy. Enjoy your stay. We hope to come back another time.

Super séjour ! Hôte et maison au top !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La chaumière est mignonne et fonctionnelle. La piscine est très agréable. Merci à l'hôte pour son accueil, sa réactivité et sa disponibilité. Nous avons été ravis de notre semaine. Je recommande vivement cette magnifique chaumière pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis.

Family vacation

We had a very nice stay as a family at the house. The area around the house is very quiet. The pool and the garden is very nice and well-looked after. The house was perfect for us (7 adults and 1 baby). As one bedroom in the small house is on tue ground floor it even worked for one person of our family in the wheelchair. The communication upfront of our vacation was very easy. The house is well-looked after nevertheless it is an old house why some of the windows do not close easily for an example. The kitchen was well equiped for cooking for a big family.

Highly enjoyable house close to Deauville

This is an absolute gem, hidden away in the hills at very close proximity to Deauville. The house and its sub-house on the premises are great for multiple families desiring a pool-side holidays with a stunning view over the hills. The house has a nice atmosphere and the pool is a delight. There are plenty bedrooms available and three bathrooms. The owner has been very kind and forthcoming which made us feel at home. We were told that further renovations will take place in the coming months to make it even better. We very much enjoyed the relaxedness and luxury of having a local style estate at our disposition. Having rented multiple houses in France and Italy before, we would highly recommend this place!

Belle endormie

Belle maison normande, très beau cadre campagnard, proximité de Deauville et de la côte, belle piscine et grand jardin. Mais elle accuse son âge ou défaut d'entretien en petits détails : portes fenêtres fermant avec difficulté, ou difficiles à ouvrir, dans la maison principale, comme dans la dépendance (jeu de clés insuffisant par ailleurs ), canapés défraichis, lave linge à remplacer, vaisselle et instruments de cuisine (poeles, casseroles etc...) largement usés, coussins tâchés sur les bancs de cuisine...; par ailleurs , et cela n'est pas de la responsabilité du propriétaire, difficile de trouver bacs à ordures dans les environs pour se débarrasser des ordures ménagères, sans faculté de tri... et chemin d'accès à la maison très étroit; un camion de pompiers pourrait-il y passer ? L'issue de secours à l'étage de la maison est condamnée... En conclusion, quelques travaux et dépenses d'entretien seraient sûrement bienvenus.

Good view,satisfactory pool,nice living space but....

Shower facilities in main house poor: good in cottage but no wifi there Kitchen utter shambles: cobwebs IN the oven,chaotic collection of kitchenware and no cutlery drawers. Door of washing machine detached too easily 'Cave' stank Lots of 'no go areas',sealed off. Eclectic mix of decor plus personal photos of owners family( some of party thought this inappropriate) Impression was of poorly presented property in need of a general make over to bring up to standard: has makings of a very good holiday house but felt to be camping in some other persons property and not feeling that the house was 'ours' for the duration. Many kids beds,not many adult beds. On the plus side good location At present not worth the rental Suggest Home and Away inspect and make assessment ( we have stayed in properties all over the world from China,to Australia to most parts of Europe,and we are familiar with this type of offering: dismissing it as rustic charm is not sufficient: for the record we had stayed at a nearby property the week before,with similar credentials,and found it to be far superior)

Fantastic property in great location. Whole family loved it

Spent a week here in late July with my whole family, 6 adults and 3 children. We had a fantastic time. The property is in a lovely position, private but only 5-10 minutes drive from the local town of Pont L'Eveque. The heated pool is great and the whole property faces across the valley with lovely views. Lots to do nearby. We particularly liked the Cerza safari zoo and the harbour town of Honfleur.

très bonnes vacances familiales

très belle maison sur les hauteurs de Deauville. Le jardin très bien entretenu et la piscine font le bonheur de tous et la maison est très agréable à vivre, on s'y sent comme chez soi. Par contre la voiture est indispensable et la route d'accès étroite par endroit

Great comfortable home in best location

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful House. We arrived at the Estate with a warm welcome from Alexandre, who showed us around their beautiful House. The House is very good located, just few minutes from supermarkts and Deauville. Beautifull heated swimming pool. Just the perfect holiday getaway and exactly what we were looking for. I would definitely recommend this place to friends or relatives. Thank you Alexandre for making us so welcome and hopefully see you next year!

A fantastic country getaway!

This was our first family trip to the Normandy region and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay! We went with another family and the set up of the main house plus a small carriage house is perfect. The house is well-appointed and has everything you need to feel at home. The pool is wonderful and the views overlooking the countryside are amazing. Alexandre was wonderful at making us feel welcome and ensuring we were settled properly in the house. It was a great week and we would highly recommend staying here!

Very nice position, very nice house

Overall we were very happy with the accommodation. The only issue we had was the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms. We were a group of 10 adults (5 x 2 ) and this means that we could have done with another shower room. If it were two families then this would not have been a problem. The pool is lovely and a great temperature, the kitchen is large and well equipped, the living room is very comfortable and large. The location is absolutely brilliant with a nice view and all the local villages are very nice with good restaurants. There is a very large supermarket within 15 minutes drive. We had a great time. :-)

A lovely house in a lovely spot

My family and I loved the house and loved the whole area around. Normandy is such a beautiful area steeped in history. The seclusion and the beautiful views from the house were just what we were looking for. The facilities in the house were excellent. We stayed a week and dined in most evenings. The pool was great, my granddaughter spent most of most days in it. Alexandre was most helpful with any problems we had. One small observation is there was not much hanging space in the bedrooms and quite a few light bulbs needed replacing. This did not distract from the enjoyment of our stay. We had a great week. Wonderful charming Normandy home with amazing view

We had 10 people 6 of whom were kids 12 years to 5 years. The home and extra small house accommodated us all with extra towels and sheets. The pool was very large and heated and the kids loved it! The kids also loved playing outside in the large yard! The location is tremendous with an amazing view. It was just a short drive to stores, restaurants and beaches. And within day trip distance to D-day Beaches or Mont St. Michel. The owner was very accommodating to our requests and questions. He also was very quick to respond to emails when we had questions come up during our stay. I would return here again. Thank you Alexandre for your hospitality and warm welcome.
