A lovely holiday house enjoyed by 3 generations

We had the most wonderful stay at Les Agapanthes and would highly recommend it. We went as a family of 9 aged between 8 and 70 and all had the most fantastic time. The garden is beautiful, the swimming pool a total luxury and the house just right for us all.

Great holiday villa

We had a great holiday, and Martine, Christian, & their daughter who checked us in at the property, were lovely hosts. The villa perfectly suited our needs and was probably the best equipped holiday property that I've stayed in, The weather wasn't brilliant, although we avoided the rain when out, and the lovely covered pool made swimming every day a pleasure. We would certainly return.

Clean, recently built property within mature garden with large covered, heated swimming pool. Very helpful, unobtrusive owners who live next door were welcoming and very pleasant. There is one garage and room for a second car next to the property. Butcher and Bakery in the village of Meillac and a little further away nice town of Combourg with large Intermarche and other shops & restaurants. A visit to Chateau Bourbansais and its zoo is recommended as is St Malo for its neat town and large open beach. We also enjoyed the aquarium on the outskirts of St Malo. Would like to return one day!

Absolutely perfect

Thank you, Martine and Christian. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Les Agapanthes. The house and the grounds are even more beautiful than the photos; everything has been so carefully thought through for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect for exploring the coast and local castles. We wish we had booked 2 weeks!

We have just spent a week at this property. Very quiet, apart from birdsong and neighbouring animals. Everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms and the bonus of a downstairs bedroom and shower room (mobility needs).Patio was a sun trap. Gardens lovely. Pool perfect. Handy washing machine and outdoor clothes line. About 6 miles to supermarkets, Hyper U the best in our opinion. Great fish counter. 30 minutes to St.Malo for Aquarium and Ferry to UK. Property owners were lovely and helpful. Safety and security - gated driveway and secure garden.

Super house, gardens and pool. Location is perfect, in the countryside but easy to get to St Malo and Dinan, and a hypermarket just 10 mins away. Recommended

Comfortable stay

Great holiday home with large pool the family all enjoyed, even our autistic grandson. The setting and garden was tranquil and very private. The owners were discrete even though they were next door. The holiday home is set in a great area with a chateau with zoo close by also a little theme park 10 mins away. St Malo 25 mins was lovely, go early though parking is busy. We would love to stay again in the future.

Excellent property 5 Stars

Just a fantastic stay at this property, The hosts Martine and Christian were just so welcoming and gave us a few tips on local attractions and the local market in Combourg which is definitely worth a visit. The house is modern and well equipped with everything needed for your stay, The pool is superb with swim times even when the weather takes a turn for the worst. We have already booked again for next year if i could give it more than 5 stars i would it should be rated as a 10 star property.

A wonderful holiday

We were welcomed on arrival and shown around by the owners who live in the main house behind the holiday house. The grounds, pool and house were perfect for our large party of 4 adults and 6 children. The pool was amazing, the children loved it! The house had everything we needed and was not far from food shops, locals towns, markets and places to explore. We visited Dinan, st Malo and Saint Suliac, all beautiful. We would like to thank the owns for a wonderful holiday and we hope to be back again soon. Many thanks From the Hoddinott and Harris family

2 families, 1 great house = perfect vacation!

We have rented homes before for our vacations. But this was exceptional. Martine is a wonderful host. She hasn't left anything to chance. The home is very well equipped. We loved the location. Peaceful and quiet and yet close to St. Malo and Mont St. Michel. We were even able to do a day trip to the Normandy area. Martine, we think back to a wonderful vacation with many wonderful memories! Thank you so much! (and also for the freshly picked blueberries!) We hope to be come back to see you again one day!

Relaxing family holiday

The house is just lovely and located in a small hamlet just outside of Meillac. Spacious for nine of us. A stair gate and high chair was provided for a young child by the owner, and we were made to feel welcome. We ate on the terrace every evening, which was what we had hoped for, surrounded by the delightful garden. The pool exceeded our expectations; great size, very clean, and was put to good use by all of us. Some of us took bikes, and found cycling in the quiet, beautiful countryside, to be very safe and relaxing. Meillac has a great boulangerie, and is well placed for easy access to supermarkets in lovely Combourg, and for exploring the local area and North coast. We had a great week, and would highly recommend.

A truly excellent week

The property is exactly as described in its beautiful setting. It is well located for visits to Dinan, Dinard and St Malo. Returning back home after a day out was always a pleasure, with the children being able to use the excellent pool whilst their supper was being prepared, resulting in using lots of energy and ensuring a good nights sleep. The adults could then enjoy their evening with locally bought fresh food and wine having picked up bread from the bakery in the village. The house is spotlessly clean, with everything that you’d need for your stay (with the exception of a mirror in the adult bedrooms for hair and makeup). Martine and Christian are very friendly and respectful of one’s privacy, and are fully available for advice if needed. They gave us a full introductory tour when we arrived and explained how everything worked. Our family of 4 adults and 3 children aged 7, 4 and 18 months had a brilliant week and we very much hope that we can return for a longer stay. Many thanks for providing a home which proved to be even better than we had expected.

Un très agréable logement

Le logement est conforme à la description, les envions sont calmes, la piscine répond à toutes les attentes d’un séjour en famille, la literie est de qualité avec de vrais oreillers et des couettes (et non des couvertures comme dans certains logements), l’équipement de cuisine est complet, le barbecue est un plus aussi, le jardin est splendide. Wonderful family holiday with pool

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Lots of room for 7 of us. The pool was brilliant, great size and very clean. The property location and grounds are beautiful. Only thing would have been lovely to have a shop in walking distance. You do need a car.

Perfect for a lazy week

The incredible garden doesn’t quite come across in the listing photos - it’s stunning. That, combined with an excellent swimming pool, means you really don’t need to plan any day trips or activities, even when you have four hyperactive kids! The house is in a peaceful, rural location but just a very short car-ride or long walk from an excellent boulangerie, or a ten-min drive to lovely Combourg, which has a huge supermarket, weekly produce market and several restaurants. Plus weekly concerts in summer. The beds in the house are comfy and there was plenty of space in the house for our group of nine. I’d highly recommend.

We have this building became useless after the transfer of our business into new larger premises. So we turned what was a large room with a pleasant living rooms, giving them all the comfort and care decoration to make our guests feel at ease.

The house is located in a quiet hamlet; stay open on the terrace, the garden and the pool is completely enclosed by high fences. The furniture is modern and recent bedding.
The pool covered is closed to the house. HEATED FROM 1st MAY TO 30th SEPTEMBER ONLY. Can be shared with the owners when the tenants are off.
