Great home near Old Town

This is a well-appointed home with a superb back yard, hot tub and rooftop deck. My family and I recommend it highly. Host Kurt is most helpful and is always easy to reach.

great location. nice 4 bedroom house with lots of space indoors and out. rooftop patio is great! Pool and backyard were excellent as well. The hot tub was not working while we were there, but the owner was responsive and attempted to get this fixed while we were there.

Final Four 2024

A few old friends and I booked this property as part of our trip to view the Final Four in 2024. To start this review, I need to say that the pictures do not do the property justice in terms of how open and spacious it is. It is quite similar to other properties I have stayed at locally in that it is a ranch, but all the bedrooms are much larger than they appear in photos and the dining / kitchen / main living room are all open to each other. This really gives the property a very comfortable feel. The back yard space is as advertised. It has a nice pool, hot tub, and several areas available for lounging. The host was responsive and available whenever we sent messages. He offered dining suggestions and was purposefully helpful to us. The only knocks I would put on this property are the pool and exterior to the property could use some TLC and the HVAC was dated. Luckily it was not very hot when we stayed so we managed the temps as were outlined in the terms that were shared with us prior to arrival. I would definitely rent this property again, because the location was great and the positives about the property far outweigh the negatives.

Pool, location, and roof deck! What more can you ask for?

First of all, I want to say how amazingly communicative that Kurt was. I have many many many questions, and he was quick to respond and straight to the point. Next, let me tell you about my husband. He hates everything he's impossible to travel with yet I find myself stuck with him. He was surprised and happy with the property, he found it very relaxing and well equipped with all the silly little things he needs. At this point a compliment from this guy is all you need however, I feel I shall go on. I went straight to the pool. The pool was great. It was well kept and so refreshing and as a swimmer, I'm very picky about my pools. Everyone knows nobody heats their pools in Arizona, but it was very refreshing even in the chilly January months… And note; chilly in Scottsdale is not chilly in Minnesota. 😄 and of course, the hot tub was a dream, and it was really fun to go in at night. Next was the roof deck the views of the sunset, the mountain and the moon is worth it. I highly recommend spending early evenings & late afternoon up there. And the house was decorated very cool and had a very comfortable vibe It was clean organized and again had all the amenities that you could need. The location was fabulous as well because you could take an Uber just about anywhere you wanna go in no time. Not only will I come back, I'm planning another trip for next winter and I'm plan to stay longer. Oh yea - the outdoor shower - super rad. Thank you Kurt, and thank you VRBO!

A bit run down

Property was a lot more rundown in person then it appeared on Photos. and could use some fixing up and also need some updating .. the house was nice fit for our family but just wasn’t super clean.

The house was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The location was great, within walking distance to night life, restaurants, and shopping. The owner was highly communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely book this property again and again.

Great house for girls’ trip away

The house was the perfect size for a getaway for myself and two sisters. It was nice to have our own bedrooms but plenty of options of common space to be together. The backyard with pool and hot tub was very peaceful. The house location was approximately 1 mile to all of our favorite Scottsdale restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Girl's weekend

Kurt was wonderful to work with - quick to respond and very accommodating. Excellent location for sightseeing around Scottsdale. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, soaking in the jacuzzi and watching the sun rise from the roof top deck. The outdoor fire pit looked fun but unfortunately it was just too hot. We had a nice time.

Great location

The location was a 10/10. The scenery was amazing and you could walk to shopping area, restaurants, and get coffee. The owner was so so helpful. If I had a question he would respond right away. He also gave me a list of restaurants, hiking trails and things to do. I do think the house could use some updating and would be nice if the pool was heated.

Great home in a great location

We had a wonderful stay at this large home in a great location. The house is larger than than the pictures show. The sunsets on the rooftop deck were amazing. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware and utensils you'll need should you choose not to eat at one if the great restaurants nearby. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Morning coffee with Camelback Mountain

We were in town with another couple for a wedding and decided to rent this lovely home rather than a hotel room. Best decision we made. Everyday began with coffee on roof top deck looking at mountains and birds; no better way to start a day. The location is close to everything you could want. Kurt is a wonderful host!

Awesome stay!

What a wonderful home in the center of everything but on a super quiet street. The backyard and pool was beautiful with its firepit. My group and I booked this property and our stay was wonderful. A very clean home with plenty of amenities. The hot tub was perfect for our mornings and wine on the roof deck with its 360 degree views of the mountains was incredible. The owner was very responsive with questions and recommendations about restaurants. We will definately be back.

Relaxation options galore

Our group stayed here for five nights while visiting for spring training. We greatly enjoyed the many indoor and outdoor spaces in which to hang out before and after the games. We liked the front porch, the spacious living room, the back room “man cave”, the back patio and pool. But our favorite spot was the roof top, where we watched beautiful sunsets each night while enjoying our cocktails. Awesome! Comfortable beds. A good location just north of Old Town and to lots of restaurants also contributed to a great stay. We all give it a thumbs up.

Great location to Fashion Square and Old Scottsdale

There was 4 of us that stayed for 4 nights. The Location is excellent and we walked to Fashion Square in Scottsdale. Home has 4 bedrooms with lot's of room with a very large master bedroom. The host was very responsive and checked in on us a number of times to see how things were going. The outdoor shower was a highlight and used a lot. My only feedback is that the inside was a little worn & tired and the kitchen and bathrooms could use a modest upgrade with the kitchen getting some updated kitchen supplies like coffee maker, tea pot, etc...

Comfortable home close to everything

Can't beat the location of this spacious home. Four of us on a work trip had our own rooms for sanctuary. But we were also very happy to have a well-appointed kitchen and amenities like the fire pit, pool, hot tub and rooftop deck. Owners were super accommodating and helpful with restaurant suggestions.

Perfect Girls Weekend Trip

My group of 8 ladies had never been to Arizona before. Our stay exceeded our expectations! From the walkable distance to Old Town, a quick ride to hike Camelback and the back yard pool!! It was also a treat to climb up to the roof top to watch the sunrise and set. Kurt was great! He was very accommodating, communicative and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
