Si buscas tranquilidad, desconectar y cargar las pilas, este es el lugar, sin duda. La casa esta totalmente equipada, no le falta de nada, acogedora y cálida, rodeada de viñedos y olivares. La situación optima, para ver la región Do Douro. Y que decir del propietario, Antonio, un autentico lujo. Muchas gracias por tu hospitalidad y simpatia, nos has hecho sentir como en casa. Fantastic House

This is a superbly appointed house in a great rural area, but close to all amenities. The owner is gracious and accommodating. I could not give more than 5 stars in this review, but would do so if possible. A delightful experience. Thank you Antonio.

Stay near Lamego October 2019

This is a very nice property situated about 3km north of Lamego. It is equipped with all the necessities for a self catering stay and is situated in a private garden/terracing with olive, orange and lime trees. The Douro valley is about 10km to the north and not far from perhaps the most picturesque section around Pinhao. We received a very warm welcome from the property owner and despite having some wet weather, we did enjoy our stay and our visits to the Douro valley.

Perfect Stay in Lamego/Douro Valley Region

From our warm welcome to out sad to be leaving departure our stay in the Casa de Quinta was AMAZING. It was extremely clean, nicely located, and had beautiful grounds. The owner and his friends were so engaging, helpful, and informative. The driveway was a lesson in first gear (thank you for the advice João) and worth the effort. We spent most evenings on the patio and exploring the grounds - and drinking the Douro Valley vino. Our days were spent exploring the Douro Valley - a perfect way to begin our stay in Portugal. Thank you so much Antonio, João, and Antonio. We hope to spend time with you again someday.

Perfect at all

Perfect furnished house with a very beautiful garden! The Douro-Valley is just the precious jewel of Portugal. The organisation and information was professional and uncomplicated. Beautiful stay in the Douro Valley

I can't say enough wonderful things about Antonio and his property outside of Lamego. It is a beautiful place with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We could not have asked for more!

Lamego - June 2019

We cannot thank Antonio enough for a truly wonderful holiday experience. He met us in Lamego with his English-speaking friend to guide us to the property, which although rural is not far from the town. They received us with the greatest of hospitality, explaining everything we needed to know about the house, then toasted us with a glass of port. The house is comfortable and elegantly furnished and the kitchen extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Antonio gave us a bottle of olive oil and a jar of honey from the estate and invited us to pick anything we wanted from the wide range of fruit and vegetables in the garden. Thank you also to Antonio 2 (the gardener), who brought us eggs and vegetables that he had picked. The property is in an ideal place to explore the town of Lamego and the surrounding area, including the Douro Valley. This was our first visit to Portugal and we are very pleased to have chosen this property. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. The rooms are much bigger and so much more beautiful than we expected. We would certainly make a return visit. Jen and Dennis, Northumberland, UK

Uma semana inesquecível neste paraíso do Douro

Tudo na Casa da Quinta de Ferreiros é perfeito. A começar pela atenção e gentileza de Antonio. A paisagem deslumbrante e calma, apenas o som dos pássaros e grilos. A Quinta, com suas oliveiras, laranjeiras, limoeiros, horta, jardins floridos... é ideal tanto para passear como para relaxar na varanda ou no alpendre. A casa é confortável, aconchegante, bem equipada e muito bem cuidada. Além disso a localização é excelente para se explorar a mágica região do Douro.

Lovely, unique stone farmhouse among the olive trees.

This villa was by far the most unique, beautiful, and tranquil VRBO we have ever stayed in. Our host Antonio and his English speaking friend Joao met us in the down square of Lamego and show us the way to this casa. They were incredibly gracious and sat with us for an hour talking to us as old friends, treating us to a bottle of the local port and giving us pointers on what we should see and do in the area. Our host encouraged us to pick from the vineyard and garden. He gifted us a jar of honey from his personal hives. Antonio and Joa then gave us a tour of the amazing property which includes terraced olive trees, vegetable garden, chicken coop, citrus trees, and persimmons. The second morning, the farm caretaker, Antonio, brought us another bottle of port and olive oil that had been grown on the property. The home itself is very well appointed, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. My husband and I truly enjoyed the beauty of the setting and loved drinking coffee in the morning on the stone patio by the grape vineyards. I felt as if I were on a movie set. Thank you Mr. Pina for letting us stay in your beautiful home. It was a privilege!

Cette location est idéalement située ,au calme loin de l'agitation, au sain d'une beau domaine fait de citronniers et oliviers .La maison par elle même : il ne manque rien ,parfaitement équipée. Meublée avec gout , il faut être vraiment très difficile pour trouver a redire. Et que dire de l’accueil du '' Triumvirat '' Mrs PINA ,DA SILVA et Antonio qui nous a fait profiter des légumes de son jardin. A citer en modèle.Il mériterait la 5eme.étoile, mais il manque une piscine pour se rafraichir après une ballade dans cette formidable et très chaude vallée du Douro .On ne peut que la recommande . Magical and romantic Villa in the Douro Valley. Peaceful, quiet, clean and everything you need.

My husband and I spent 6 nights at Casa da Quinta de Ferreiros. The highlight of our trip to Portugal. We enjoyed every moment and the location is ideal for exploring the Douro. The villa is equiped with everything you need to cook and relax. Bedroom, bathroom, living and dining room, kitchen, outdoor patio and sitting area are immaculate and decorated with beautiful taste. We visited Coimbra and Lamego, we kayaked on the Douro out of Pinhao, did some wine tasting, took the train to Porto from Regua and did some Port tasting, hiked around Villa Nova 6km loop, day trip to casa Mateus and Amarante 💕💕. Coming back to the villa every night to enjoy fresh produce from the garden and a home cooked meal (by us) was a perfect way for us to end our day. Thank you Antonio for sharing this little piece of paradise with us and to your friend Joao for all his help. Also a special thank you to Antonio who helps maintain a beautiful garden and much more. Well equiped villa but you definately need a car

Villa is in a beautiful spot. It has everything you need with a very comfy bed. You are near a bar but its a steep short walk. You need a car as you are away from all amenities. The steps up to the villa are steep so this is not for anyone who has walking difficulties. The drive up to the villa is tricky.

Relaxing stay in the Douro Valley

We had a very relaxing stay at Casa da Quinta de Ferreiros earlier this month. The villa is lovely and well supplied. We enjoyed the working fireplace on several evenings after our many vineyard tours. There are several outdoor seating areas we used each evening to enjoy the port and wine we purchased along the way. Nearby Lamego is a wonderful town with much to explore and see. Thank you Antonio for a memorable visit!

Hervorragende Unterkunft

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in einer traumhaften Lage. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist absolut vollständig. Wir wurden sogar mit Eiern und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten von dem netten Gärtner versorgt. Der Vermieter ist ebenfalls sehr zuvorkommend. Wir empfehlen dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiter!!!

Beautiful Villa in Fantastic Location!

We had a wonderful stay at António’s beautiful little villa in the hills above Lamego! Being just a short drive to the town made it easy to get provisions and the location worked out well for us to explore the Douro Valley and its many treasures. António was a fabulous and helpful host. We highly recommend a stay here and we hope to be back again someday!

A estadia na « Quinta de Ferreiros "» foi muito agradável, pois a casa corresponde às fotos, está muito bem decorada e limpa. Fica num sítio calmo e agradável, longe da confusão. A casa é lindíssima, com instalações muito bem equipadas e asseadas. O exterior não fica atrás, pelo contrário! Para quem gosta do contacto com a natureza e com a tranquilidade que ela nos oferece, a Quinta de Ferreiros é o local ideal para uns dias de descanso. Não posso deixar de referir o acolhimento fantástico que tivemos por parte do Sr. Antonio Pina foi extremamente simpático e deu-nos total liberdade para usufruirmos de tudo o que a Quinta tem ao dispor: espaço, produtos hortícolas etc. Com certeza que voltaremos! Perfect in every way!

We had a fantastic, relaxing stay in this beautifully appointed and comfortable villa. The owner has thought of everything - the photos don't really do it justice, it is very well furnished with quality items. Great log burner for colder nights & log brought to the front door for us. Lovely terraces for al fresco eating. We brought our dog with us and she had a fantastic holiday too sniffing around the extensive gardens and vines. Thank you so much, we do hope to return again - we highly recommend your lovely villa to everyone.

Perfect cottage in the wintry Duouro

Congratulations to Mr Antonio Pina for being a perfect, gracious host. From the moment of booking to the ease of departure, we were treated with genuine Lamego hospitality and friendliness. Our thanks also to Mr Joao Nunes, who was a marvellous tour guide. Casa da Quinta de Ferreiros has everything you need for a short or long stay. There are two coffee machines, so you can choose an espresso or a filtered coffee. The kitchen and dining facilities have all the utensils and crockery needed to cook to your heart's content, or you can go to wonderful restaurants - such as Tasquinha Do Matias in nearby Tarouca. Wood and fresh vegetables from the farm were very welcome, especially during the winter months of our visit. Also, the port! People who enjoy nature, the changing seasons and rhythm of the Portuguese lifestyle will really appreciate a visit to Casa da Quinta de Ferreiros. Remember, lunch is the most important meal of all...and best enjoyed with family and friends. We will take many fond memories back to Australia. Debra and Matthew

un coin de paradis assurément

Véritable petit paradis, la Quinta de Ferreiros est parfaite à tous égards. La location joliment agencée et décorée ; M Pina et son ami M Silva très aimables qui ont tout fait pour que notre séjour soit le meilleur possible ; la propriété au milieu des vignes et des oliviers, en contrebas d'un petit village avec sa petite église, ses maisons et jardins bien entretenues et les chemins à travers les collines qui sont des plus plaisants... Merci encore pour ces belles journées de vacances à la Quinta de Ferreiros

Chalet "Casa da Quinta de Ferreiros"

Chalet très confortable, rénové dans de beaux matériaux et bien équipé. L'endroit est paisible et agréable, idéal pour des vacances reposantes. Accueil très chaleureux, on se sent "attendu" ; ce qui fait très plaisir. Merci à Mr Pinas ainsi qu'à Mr Da Silva pour son aide précieuse.
