The apartment is very big and nice and located in a suburb in the north of Lille, the city centre of Lille is only 5 km away and very easy to reach by tram, which stops closeby.The garden and terrace are great. Close to the apartment is a bakery, supermarket and some restaurants.Very easy to visit the north of France and south of Belgium.

Final leg of our tour in France

What a fantastic property, from the listing we thought it would be special, but the reality exceeded all expectations. The location is ideal for going into or out of the city. Isabelle was really welcoming and very helpful. If we ever go back to Lille we would definitely try to book this property again.

Excellent well equipped accommodation in ideal location

Excellent well equipped accommodation. Location ideal with local supermarket, bakery and numerous restaurants. Short walk to tram line and only 10 minutes into Lille centre. Host provided a fridge full of goodies and was on hand to answer any queries. Overall an extremely enjoyable 4 weeks stay while we attended the Rugby World Cup games. A huge thankyou to the host

Very nice, comfortable, clean and well situated property. Garden was lovely, just a shame the weather didnt allow us to use it! Local trams in to Lille very easy to use and only 200mtrs away. Isabelle and Stefan were very friendly and helpful. The welcome pack of bread, butter, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, fruit juice and bottled water was amazing and really appreciated. If we come back to Lille, we'd definitely book again.

Relaxing, Comfortable, and well Equipped

We enjoyed our stay at this location so very much. Isabelle arranged a reservation for dinner on our first night at a lovely restaurant, and we felt very welcome. It has everything you need for a stay, so it is easy to make a choice to go out for a meal or to stay in and relax, work out in the well equipped fitness room, or meander in the garden. Local patisseries are nearby, so it is easy to grab a croissant or brioche or baguette, come home and brew a coffee! The two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom worked extremely well for our purposes. Thank you, and our thanks comes with a high recommend!

Comfortable and pleasant stay

The whole floor was rented and there is plenty of room for 2 couples or a family of four. With a generous sitting room and well endowed kitchen meals and relaxing after a full day of sightseeing is easy. Our host met us when we arrived and ensured that our basic needs were met. The bathrooms were fully equipped. Local restaurants are excellent and a wonderful bakery is minutes away on foot. The location is easy to access the centre of Lille. It is centrally located if you were wanting to visit Vimy/Arras and Ypres areas. A grocery store is also minutes away. Overall a very comfortable and pleasant stay with access to the yard and patio for outdoor enjoyment.

Spacious home away from home

We rented this charming apartment for our three day family visit while in Lille. The apartment is located on a quiet residential street, within walking distance to amenities such as a grocery store and bakery. The host Isabelle and her husband greeted us warmly and had even stocked the fridge with everything needed for our stay. We were very impressed with the level of attention such as having enough towels and kitchen accessories. Isabelle had also thoughtfully inquired as to everything was going after her first night. We felt like we were at home! The apartment consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was very convenient for my wife and I along with my mother in law. The unit also sported an exercise room with an exercise bike, treadmill and rowing machine, which was a nice addition while traveling. We would definitely recommend this apartment anytime! Thanks for the warm welcome, Isabelle!

Light Bright Beautiful Home

We spent a week in Isabelle's home while visiting family in the area. It was such a success, there is talk of staying again for future visits! The home is bright and airy with a stunning garden out back. The two bedrooms have comfy beds with en suite bathrooms. Towel warmers were so cozy for our chilly visit! The kitchen is equipped well. Everything functions great - with the caveat that Americans may struggle to figure out how to use the stove and oven but they are great once you sort it out! The living room was our gathering spot with a large television for family movie watching at the end of the day. The street is quiet, parking is plentiful, and everyone we encountered was kind. Isabelle is exceptionally responsive and gracious. Go dine at Repu, a lovely neighborhood spot at the end of the street if you come visit. It was one of our favorite meals of the week. The tram into Lille is a very short walk as is Monoprix, the grocery store. Can't say enough about this home and the comforts we enjoyed. A must if you are looking in the area.

Besoin d'un hébergement près de Lille-tout près de Lille-ne cherchez plus, cette adresse est la bonne: accueil plus que sympathique d'Isabelle qui vous installe dans un appartement de grand standing où vous trouvez plus que le confort puisque plein de petites intentions agrémentent encore votre séjour. La présentation sur Abritel très complète correspond parfaitement à ce que l'on découvre sur place. Merci Isabelle pour tout ce que l'on trouve chez vous, gentillesse, conseils de bonnes adresses (visites, restaurants...) très attachée à notre bienêtre et ce superbe appartement, très calme, idéalement situé entre Lille et Roubaix, deux villes où il y a tant à voir et à revoir un jour en revenant chez vous. Avec plein de bons souvenirs.

Séjour à Marcq En Baroeul

nous avions choisi de visiter Lille bien avant le COVID, ce fut enfin chose faite avec ce week-end prolongé à proximité à Marcq-en-Baroeul ! un week-end dans un cocon, un endroit tout confort, accueilli bras ouverts par les Propriétaires. Qui nous ont gâté par de très agréables attentions. Malgré nos heures de retour tardives nous avons passé de douces nuit au calme dans cet agréable logement. Si vous recherchez à être à proximité de Lille tout en cherchant une prestation haut de gamme alors ne cherchez plus !

Logement très propre et très bien équipé

Nous avons loué cet appartement pour un week-end, et nous en avons été très satisfaits. Accueil d'Isabelle très sympathique et disponible. Propre et bien aménagé, tout est très bien équipé (cuisine, une salle de bain par chambre, très pratique). Et même une salle de sport pour les plus sportifs. Très cosy et ambiance/décor chaleureux, notamment le salon. Situation très bonne, dans un secteur très calme, assez proche du centre de Lille. Je recommande sans hésiter.

The hosts were great. They provided some food for the week which was unexpected and even purchased a new micro wave when we were having problems working the existing one. The back yard was lovely and quiet for evening picnic dinners. The hosts were always there to respond to any questions. Parking was never a problem

Truly home away from home!

This property is by far the best European location we have experienced over the past 20 years. Every detail of every aspect was exceptional. ~Communication with Isabelle before and during our visit was quick and accurate. She even made dinner reservations for us on our arrival night. ~The property location provided easy access to surrounding destinations. ~The apartment is very nicely decorated, pristine, quiet and extremely comfortable (especially the beds). ~The extra kitchen amenities provided were above and beyond (coffee, tea, juice, milk, yogurt and fruit). Bathroom amenities included warm robes. ~The yard was immaculately manicured and the patio was inviting but the weather did not cooperate. Maybe next time! ~Street parking was convenient and free. All in all, this property allowed us to have one of the most reeling vacations we have ever had. We will certainly return to this area of France and to this apartment, Thank you very much, Isabelle. with garden, a lot of space, friendly people and a quiet environment it was a perfect place to stay and relax after visiting a day of musea, town centre, etc.
