Casa Cefiro se encuentra en una ladera en el borde del parque nacional de la Sierra de Almijara. La villa se encuentra a pocos minutos del bonito pueblo blanco de Cómpeta. A menos de una hora de Málaga, esta soleada villa de estilo escandinavo tiene vistas espectaculares de las montañas y el mar. Casa Cefiro tiene 3 habitaciones. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king size y un baño privado. Hay dos dormitorios dobles y un segundo baño. La cocina es moderna y está bien equipada. Hay un gran salón abierto que es cómodo y elegante. La zona de comedor interior ofrece vistas panorámicas. El terreno alrededor de la propiedad está cubierto de almendros y olivares. Hay varias áreas para sentarse y comer afuera. Una terraza cubierta ofrece vistas al mar y también a la montaña de Maroma. Este es un lugar perfecto para ver las maravillosas puestas de sol. Hay una piscina de forma libre de buen tamaño con pasos romanos suaves, perfectos para refrescarse en los calurosos días de verano. Hay más asientos alrededor de la piscina y mucho espacio para tomar el sol. Además, hay una zona de barbacoa con zona de estar cubierta. Un bonito jardín rodea la propiedad. Maravillosos aromas de naranja, flor de limón y jazmín llenan el aire. La propiedad se beneficia de wifi e internet. La villa es muy privada y tiene uso de toda la casa y la piscina. No se comparte ni se pasa por alto.

Peaceful and Relaxing

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Cefiro. It’s in a great private spot in the mountains, and we felt like we had the entire valley to ourselves. The house is extremely well stocked with everything we could have ever needed. It also has easy access to supermarkets and nearby Cómpeta for bars and restaurants, incredible views and a perfect pool. We will definitely be going back!

Truly wonderful in every way.

Really beautiful property. We didn’t really want to leave to explore the area. The panoramic views of mountain and sea were incredible. The villa so well equipped and comfortable. Christina the host was easy to communicate with. The representative who checked us was also extremely helpful. Sad to leave but very likely to return and highly recommend to others

Wonderful villa set in a stunning location. Incredibly well equipped and a perfect home from home. From the moment we arrived we felt completely relaxed and we loved the privacy, peace and quiet. The only downside for us was the absence of air conditioning, but don’t let that put you off.

Perfect location

What a wonderful place!! Villa in a location with every view imaginable, nothing short of breathtaking. Great experience from initial meet and greet that was perfectly coordinated with property owner and local agent. Clean well equipped villa (you really don't want for anything) within easy reach of Beach, Places of Interest and local amenities. Pool clean and well maintained and always welcome after a hot day site seeing. Lucky to meet the owners who were friendly and full of information and tips on the local area. Would recommend this villa if you want a quite relaxing holiday away from the hussle of the costs but within easy reach. PS.....did I mention the views!!!

This villa is exceptional. From stunning interiors with every possible want catered for to breathtaking views . The last 200 metres of the road are steep and narrow, but it's worth. It takes your breath away once you arrive. Outdoor area is fantastic with beautiful pool area and 4 loungers in both shaded and sunny areas. The decor of the interior is superior to any Villa we've stayed in and is incredibly well equipped . Nestled between two beautiful villages its close to all amenities with lovely restaurants and bars. Highly recommended!

Fabulous week

We had a wonderful relaxing week in Casa Cefiro. It is a lovely house situated high up with stunning views down to the coast and to the mountains (fabulous sunsets from the front terrace). It is very well equipped, especially the kitchen, with everything thought of. We made good use of the excellent bbq and different seating areas around the house. The pool is wonderful and a great size and the surrounding gardens and pots attractive and very well maintained. The booking process and communication was very good as was the meet and greet service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Cefiro - a week just wasn’t enough!

Super views!

This villa lies midway between Sayalonga and Competa. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Lots of seating areas so you can sit in the sun or shade at any time of the day. The pool was very clean and welcome in the hot sun! The owners are lovely and friendly as we met them during our stay there. Another village, Archez is also not too far away and we found a fantastic restaurant called El Curro. Huge portions of bbq food for a very reasonable price and very attentive, friendly staff. Casa Cefiro also lies close to Bodega Bentomiz. A very special place for lunch with wine tasting. The villa faces west so avails of beautiful sunsets as well. A great spot overall for a relaxing holiday.

Fantastic villa - better than a home from home

We stayed for a week in July and wished it could have been for longer! Casa Cefiro is a beautiful villa - very spacious and modern with a fabulous kitchen and lovely garden (....and for my teenage daughters, great WiFi!!). It has the most wonderful views - whether you are lying on the sun loungers or swimming in the pool, all you can see are mountains and sky and sitting on the terrace you have a view of the sea in the near distance. The nearby villages have a number of wonderful bars and restaurants - but to be honest, we found that you couldn't beat a BBQ or tapas sitting on the terrace in the cool evening breeze admiring the views and local wildlife. We have used VRBO/ Owners Direct in both Europe and the USA for 15 or so years and this villa is one of the best I have stayed in and the kitchen has to be the best equipped ever!!!! Would definitely recommend and will be returning!

Simply wonderful!

What can I say about this property? You won't be disappointed. Situated in a stunning location, this villa boasts breathtaking views up to the mountains and down to the sea. The villa and pool are even more impressive in person than the photos suggest. While we made a couple of short trips to nearby beaches, we found ourselves longing to return to our hillside retreat. As keen birders, the daily visits from three Booted Eagles were a particular highlight, along with a passing colony of around 30 Bee-Eaters. Truly spectacular! Just a 10-minute drive further up the valley lies Competa, a charming town offering a variety of restaurants and amenities. We were fortunate to coincide our visit with their annual festival, which added a delightful cultural touch to our holiday. The property exceeded our expectations in every way. We hope to return someday and are grateful to Christina for this memorable experience.

a relaxing place set high in the hills with stunning views of sea and mountains- perfect peace.

The property is well maintained inside and out and spotlessly clean. We were met by the rep who took us to the villa and explained what we needed to know. Everything we needed was on site, plenty of kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery plus cleaning materials for dishwasher and washing machine. I stress again that to our delight everything including appliances, crockery and rooms were spotlessly clean. The outdoor space offers the opportunity to be in the sun or the shade and has a lovely swimming pool. We felt very relaxed here and had an enjoyable and peaceful stay. The small town of Cómpeta is about 4 km away where there are supermarkets, banks, restaurants and bars and the coast is about 25 minutes away. We would be pleased to recommend this property to anyone as we had such a wonderful time. We visited for three weeks in September where evenings get darker around 8.30 to 9 pm so the only minor detail we would have preferred is more brighter lighting in the lounge. That said this is a fantastic place for a holiday.

Die Villa ist wunderschön, sauber und gemütlich – hier findet man einfach alles, was man braucht. Der Swimmingpool ist herrlich erfrischend und, abgesehen von ein paar Wespen, die nachmittags zum Trinken vorbeischauen, einfach perfekt.Die Anfahrt über den etwa 300 Meter langen Betonweg ist schmal, sehr kurvig und durchaus abenteuerlich. Doch die Mühe lohnt sich: Die Villa liegt mitten in der Natur, umgeben von gesunder, frischer Luft. Der Ausblick auf die Berge und das Meer ist atemberaubend.In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Kochen und Genießen braucht.Insgesamt ist die Villa absolut empfehlenswert – ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen.WLAN ist gut.

La route fait un peu peur pour accéder à la maison. mais on prend vite nos marques. La maison est très propre, bien entretenue, il y a tout le nécessaire. Juste un point il manque la climatisation. Wow! Truly Fantastic Villa

What a wonderul place to stay. The owners were extremely helpful as were the repeeaentatives locally. The villa is beautiful and very clean. It is very well equipped. In a stunning location. Access is via a concrete track. The views are spectacular.to the sea and across to Morocco and back towards the mountains. Bitdsong and sunsets My husband and I did not want to leave. We will definitelt return as we think that this is the best villa we have ever rented. The perfect place to relax.

We needed a safe haven and an escape from covid madness. This villa was idyllic. Location magnificent and the owners have been meticulous about cleanliness and sanitisation. Very hard to prise ourselves away to return home but we will be taking some very happy memories with us to keep us going through the rest of the winter. We hope very much to be able to return before too long.

Perfect. Tranquility and Beauty and Comfort.

Without a shadow of a doubt Casa Cefiro is the nicest Villa we have ever rented. The owners were very helpful during the booking process and the representatives who live locally were on hand if we needed anything. The area is stunning. The villa is so well equipped and comfortable. It is on a good concrete track. The best features have to be the amazing panoramic views and the very peaceful and private location. We love walking and the area has some truly beautiful trails. It’s a very short hop to the coast where there are some wonderful chiringuitos. We hope to revisit again very soon. Thank you.

We first visited the Axarquia region a couple of years ago and instantly fell in love with the tranquil beauty of the area. Our children are grown up and making lives for themselves so we decided it was our turn. We still live quite a hectic life in the UK but relish the time we spend at Casa Cefiro. In a few years time we hope to spend more time in Spain but in the meantime we are quite happy to rent it out to people looking for a lovely villa, in a picturesque area of Spain where the climate is fantastic.

Cefiro is a gem of a holiday home. We love listening to the birdsong and walking amongst the wild flowers in the surrounding hills. You will never tire of the glorious sunsets.
