Station Lodge, un lodge moderno y espacioso ubicado en el jardín de los propietarios. Excelentes conexiones ferroviarias al centro de Cardiff. Tiene su propio bonito jardín privado y entrada y no se pasa por alto. El Lodge es muy cómodo y acogedor. Una base ideal para explorar el área del sur de Gales, o simplemente visitar a familiares. A solo 15 minutos en coche de la costa galesa, Porthcwl y Heritage Coast. A 5 minutos en automóvil de McArthur Glen Retail Outlet Bridgend, y media hora en automóvil / tren en el centro de Cardiff, ¡ideal para ir de compras! Veinticinco minutos en coche a Swansea. ¡Park Slip Nature Reserve y Bryngarw Park tienen hermosos paseos por el campo a solo 5 minutos! Con la estación de tren y pub en la puerta. Cuenta con excelentes conexiones ferroviarias a la capital galesa de Cardiff para ir de compras, hacer turismo y teatros. El Lodge tiene una habitación doble con su propio balcón y área de descanso, una segunda habitación doble, decorada con buen gusto en todas partes. En la planta baja baño con amplia ducha. Lovely spot - hope to return for a leisure visit

Booked for a stay over for work. Really easy check in and communication was great and really friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, good kitchen, I felt like it would have been lovely if I wasn’t there for work!!!

Excellent Short Break

Lovely clean accommodation and well equipped with everything you need. Good communication, on hand if needed and the little extras were much appreciated. Location was handy for the M4, nearby supermarkets and train if you didn't want to drive. We enjoyed our three night break and managed to get around quite a bit to the coast and country park. Can thoroughly recommend a visit to Dyffryn Gardens (NT)

Lovely lodge

A great base for visiting south wales. We had everything we needed. The property was very comfortable, spacious and clean with a lovely little garden. We hope to come and stay again when visiting family in the area.

We have just had an amazing few days staying in this lovely lodge. It has everything you might need, very well equipped indeed. It is very quiet and relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The welcome basket was much appreciated. We had breakfast in the garden every morning, as the weather was great, so that was nice. Would love to stay here again

A great lodge

We stayed at this lodge as a base for a local charity cycle race. It was very comfortable, clean and to a good standard having everything that we needed. I would happily recommend and stay there again.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Lovely touch with the little extras left for us when we got there. Great location with easy access to Cardiff on the train at the end of the road.

Fabulous Holiday Cottage

We just loved our stay. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, and pretty private garden with covered patio and balcony. The welcoming touches, like fresh bread and Welsh cakes, were much appreciated. Very convenient to Bryngawr House, so perfect spot to stay if you’re attending a wedding and want to be close by. Hosts were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant stay

We had a brilliant stay just wish we had longer time then the 3 nights. The hosts were very helpful and polite and on hand if you need them . The welcome pack was a very nice little touch. We would highly recommend this property and will be looking at returning in the near future.

A real gem!

This is such a lovely property - we really enjoyed our time here. Beautifully kept, inside and out. Very comfortable and love the windows. Super convenient as it is a very short walk to the train platform. Also, a short drive to some amazing beaches. We would definitely stay again! Thanks for a great stay, wish we would've booked a longer time here!

Beautiful

Everything you could want. Lovely hosts. Accommodation was as described and had all you needed and more. Position was great for train to Cardiff. Really recommend for anyone wanting to visit this area. Garden a little sun trap even had breakfast outside.

A wonderful short stay!

We booked a last-minute short stay at the lodge and only wished we'd booked for longer. From the start of the booking process to checking out communication from the host was excellent. The Lodge itself was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. The welcome pack was a nice touch and the boys enjoyed the welsh cakes as much as they enjoyed watching the trains from the balcony. Would definitely stay aging when we're next in the area.

Catching up with old friends

We were in the area for a for a friend’s birthday party but decided to stay for a long weekend making the most of the beaches at Porthcawl and Ogmore. The property is very well appointed and finished to a high standard and served as a great base for the weekend. It has it’s own private garden and was very peaceful. One big benefit is being close the the railway station from which it’s only a 30 minute trip into Cardiff.

I've never felt so much love and hospitality at a stay. Mrs. Ceri was an amazing host. Her home felt like home. We dreaded leaving and coming back to the States. I don't have enough words to describe how greatful we are to have had so much an amazing host. We can not wait to visit/ stay again. We are already missing are home away.

Lovely lodge

A very pleasant and cozy lodge that's well equipped. Lovely couple that run the lodge who were very friendly. There's some fantastic countryside within a few minutes drive. The only downsides where that there's a working man's club next door which can be a little noisy. And the train line also runs at the bottom of the garden (the clue's in the name) but they don't run late and are running quite slowly as they go past.

Everything you need and more

Property brilliant. Well equipped and clean. Could get there on public transport as station 5 mins away. Pubs and foodie places a short walk into town and bigger franchises at the deigner outlet which is 3 miles away. The Mumbles and west Wales less than an hour in the car and Cardiff the same on the train. Very easy. Wonderful.

Station Lodge

What a find this was! Tucked away on the small road that leads to the railway station we had no idea what expect but boy - iit turned out to be a gem! Ceri and John were perfect hosts. The Lodge is even better than the photos but mind your head on the sloping ceiling in the bedrooms if you're tall! It's a lovely size, well equipped and toasty warm. The welcome tray was a nice touch and much appreciated and we loved the Christmas decorations. Although the lodge is right next door to the railway club and train track the double glazing kept out any noise and we enjoyed the odd occasion when we saw the train go past. Thanks for a great stay (10 days)

Station Lodge is a new build. The owners live in the main house and are local to the area. They are happy to help with any information needed by their guests but are also mindful of their privacy.

Station Lodge is ideally situated on Tondu Railway Station, therefore having a car is not essential. The Station has frequent links to Bridgend, Cardiff City Centre and further afield.

Station Lodge has a Pub on its doorstep, it is within walking distance to a supermarket and a local village.Ideal base for walking and cycling.

Station Lodge is a great base for exploring the South Wales area and Welsh coast.
