We had the most wonderful time, thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us! It was clean and cozy, the fireplace inside was amazing and the hot tub was a great bonus. It was quiet, peaceful, and in a perfect location. We will definitely be back!!

Loved the privacy. Really clean, fully functional and good quality appliances / linens and towels. Perfect for us and we're likely to rebook. The striker plate needs fixed / replaced on the patio / porch door. Sticks a bit. The hot tub had a bit of sand but the water was clean and clear.

Great location for hiking, perfect for my dog

Everything was great! Weak water pressure and sinks drained slowly. Very clean, perfect for our friend group of four plus dog.

Family get away

The cabin was wonderful! We enjoyed our get away. They had everything we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. Went hiking, which was close by. Would definitely recommend.

Great cabin. Perfect for family!

We had a great time with our adult kids and four-legged friends. Cabin was extremely clean and close to all the trails. Horseback riding available just down the road as well as the John Glenn Astronomy Center. Taking in the sights and just enjoying time spent together around the firepit. Our stay was amazing.

Great cabin

Had to book last minute due to an an emergency at another cabin. Cabin was clean and as described. Only drawback is a neighbor right across the street, so feeling of secluded was minimal. Low impact, would rent from here again.

Family Adventure

The cabin met all of our needs with plenty of room to spread out. The refrigerator was a good size and the kitchen table was great. The hot tub was very nice. We especially enjoyed the back porch swing in the morning and evenings. The location was great as we were able to go canoing, go to Old Mans Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave and the Rock House. Took the grandkids to both Lake Logan and Rose lake to do some fishing. All in all a great trip. We would definintely book this cabin again in the future.

Tucked away in the woods

The cabin was very nice overall. There was no wifi. Cell service wasn't very good. It was nice for a short stay. Close to the parks and hiking. It would have been nice to have had a gas grill. It rained one day of our stay. Grilling with charcoal wasn't doable. Having 2 full bathrooms was a plus!

Nice Stay

We loved everything about the house and the description of it was accurate--hot tub, fire pit, grill, etc. Our only complaint was the house had only one knife to cut veggies, etc. and it was so dull it was nearly useless. And, there wasn't a paring knife, or a second knife of any kind.

Nice place

I would have liked to rate this place with 5 stars because it is cute, very clean, and a convenient and peaceful location. A few downfalls though…the listed queen size beds were full size, but very comfortable and the other issue we had was the water. It smelled like rotten eggs. It was too smelly to drink and showers were a challenge because the whole bathroom would smell. I addressed this with the front desk via email and they replied it is because it is well water, but is safe to drink. I have a well at home and never had water smell like that. We ended up having to purchase a few cases of water. Overall the stay was quite nice with the exception of the water.

The Sycamore Cabin has all you need for a quiet getaway. There isn't a majestic veiw but if you grab a coffee and go to the front porch you can enjoy the sounds of moring birds. And if you soak in the hot tub as the sun is setting you can see an amazing amount of fireflies. Great ways to start and end a day. The neighbors across the street? Barely knew they was there. Cars going down the road? We counted maybe 7 the while time we was there. The yard has great trees so bring a hammock if you got one! If we had any questions it was easy to get gold of some one with answers. There is even a phone in the cabin that connects you directly to the office! One perk we found was that the beds are amazingly comfortable. By far the best beds we have slept on in a rental. The only thing that was not enjoyable was the well water. It is not harmful and you can drink and bath in it. But if your not used to it, its very off putting. I strongly suggest taking water with you. Great place to stay! Our family of 5 plus our dog was very happy with our stay.

Family Weekend

We took our kids to the Sycamore Cabin for a weekend to have a fun summer outing together before school started. We really enjoyed our time together. It was nice to have a hot tub for us to enjoy! I just wish the upstairs air conditioning actually worked. The couple who slept downstairs were cold, but those who stayed upstairs were too hot.

Clean rustic getaway

The Chalets’ staff is super friendly and helpful. I will definitely book with this company again. Overall this was just the type of experience I wanted for a family get away that was more comfortable than camping. My party did not like the no WiFi or the well water. I would suggest a clothesline for future stays and I was bummed that I left my hammock at home because the yard was perfect for relaxing. Thanks again!

Weekend Outing

It was a fun weekend at the cabin. We did see several cockroaches in the kitchen and the creek was nothing like the picture. we enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. The cabin was very close to many parks. There was many wild flowers on the property with many butterflies.
