Great place!

Very clean and well stocked with everything you need including beach towels and snorkel gear. The AC is a life saver! Will stay here again.

Great value for reasonably priced condo in Poipu

Spacious condo, nicely furnished, with a lovely view of the garden and an easy walk to the main Poipu Beach. Has all the amenities you'd want to cook and eat in. Check-in was easy. The bedroom is on the side near the parking lot and street, so you will hear cars, but it mostly dies down during the night. We kept all the windows and doors open to feel the breeze as well as used the many ceiling fans. Roosters start early in the morning - but that's everywhere on the island. Locals seem to like them!

The location in Po'ipu was great. The condo is older and furnished basically, but has a good layout and is in a quiet area. A couple things we noted: the bathroom sink rugs are a slip/fall hazard and might be better if replaced with slip-proof rugs or nothing. The light over the kitchen sink burned out and we told management but they didn't replace the bulb. The bedroom stayed cool with the portable air conditioner but the rest of the condo was hot and muggy...we tried running the fans continuously and opening the balcony when there was a breeze, but nothing helped. Mgmt told us we should have requested an air conditioned condo.

I regret not having any knowledge of the lightbulb or I would have sent maintenance to replace it. For guests who prefer cooler accommodations, we offer a variety of condos with full air conditioning. Our reservations team would be happy to assist in selecting one that best fits your comfort preferences for a future stay. Although warm, the portable ac is not equipped to cool the entire condo. Due to the association restrictions with ac, we placed it in the location that would best comfort our guest most, in the bedroom. We truly appreciate you choosing Suite Paradise and look forward to welcoming you back to Po‘ipū for another enjoyable visit.

Prime location for Poipu

Place was even better than we expected. The location is the best, and the condo was huge. Loved having a kitchen and in unit W/D. The condo felt cozy like we were at home away from home. The only one comment we have is we tried to used the umbrella but it was missing a pole to it, which we didn't realize till we brought it to the beach. We attempted to use it but it was an extremely short pole so I could barely get it secure in the ground and my husband had to chase it down across the beach when the wind picked it up. Other than that, we loved everything about this place and it spoiled the rest of our trip when we stayed at a hotel for the remainder of our time because it wasn't even half as great as this place.

Good location; below average property

Pros: great towels; good selection of beach chairs and equipment, well equipped kitchen Cons: cleanliness was poor…overall carpet needs cleaning, vertical blinds were dirty, fan and light fixture in dining room were very dirty. Shades in bedroom did not cover entire window so you could see in if the light was on….it faced parking lot. No bedspread. or coverlet. One of the poorest maintained properties we have stayed in.

Great size, locatiasdon, and amenities

We really enjoyed our stay here. The furniture and carpet are a little dated, but the size of this unit was great for our family of four. There is a dressing area/closet (with windows) attached to the bedroom and it was large enough for a full-size air mattress, effectively making this a 2-BR. The living areas were large enough for us to have friends gather, which was really key. The paved access roads to the (lovely) nearby pool and the beach were great, and we enjoyed using the BBQs scattered around the resort's lawns as well. I'd also say that the unit was excellently stocked in terms of giving you dish soap, towels, dishwasher and washing machine fluid, plus great beach stuff like chairs, umbrella, and a cooler (!). We also left some sand toys for the next fam to enjoy. The one thing this place did not include was any pantry essentials (S&P, oil etc) which would have been great to have--but otherwise, everything was fantastic. Would stay again!

Perfectly decent place

On the plus side, this condo is spacious and well-equipped. The bed is comfortable and the lanai is pleasant. On the negative side, it has a bit of a run down feeling to it and despite the units being carpeted, we heard thumping from the unit above when they walked around. It’s hard to go wrong when you’re surrounded by the beauty of Kauai and this is a perfectly decent place to enjoy your vacation but I wouldn’t come back to this particular unit.

The sheets on the bed were AWFUL! They were all balled up and very threadbearn. I went and bought my own sheets and used them the I was there. I couldn't find any other sheets that fit the bed in the condo

Great location. If it is going to be hot, no a/c in the rest of unit, gets very warm

Given the temperature outside and only a/c in the bedroom, we all slept in the bedroom. Kids slept on floor to stay cool. View from bedroom was the parking lot not quite what was shown. Overall good stay. Great location.

Poipu in May

Weather in Poipu was better than East and West sides. Enjoyed our stay, the condo and location. I would recommend this location. Only gripe was that the DVD player didn't work, but this was not a big problem. We reported the DVD player to the management and I'm sure they will take care of it. We also reported a broken ironing board and it was replaced later that day.

Great week

Thoroughly enjoyed the condo. Comfortable and great lanai!!! Loved the garden view and good breezes that came through. Location was so convenient.. I was there the week before Hurricane Lane... very hot & humid, but the ceiling fans really helped. Loved all the walkways to explore. THANK YOU....the week was my reward after a rough 8 months fighting breast cancer....and I beat it!!!!! Hope to come back again.THANK YOU AGAIN.

Two thumbs up!,

We had a very pleasant stay in Poipu. The condo was spacious and met all of our needs. It was a short walk to the beach, had grills on on the property that allowed us to cook the catch of the day and a nicely equipped kitchen for meal prep. The unit was clean with nice thick towels and very large beach towels. We would definitely return.

Luxeriös und großzügig

Großzügige Wohnung, herrlich angelegter Park. Strand 3 min. entfernt. Die Ausstattung war perfekt, nur das Bad sanierungsbedürftig. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unbedingte Weiterempfehlung!

November 2016 Stay

Great home away from home! Looks to have been built it the 80's, but nevertheless clean, spacious and cozy. Being greeted at check-in with a refreshing cocktail on-the-house, and then opening the fridge to find a complimentary bottle of Chardonnay with chilled glasses are the special touches that welcome you and makes you want to return again and again.
