A wonderful stay

The property was clean, beautiful, and conveniently located. The kitchen was fully equipped, and plenty of space for the kids to enjoy their time at the house.

Super Place

I’d stay here again. Great for people who know what they are doing. For us, I missed having a concierge. Everything was well maintained. What they say about roosters in Kuaui is correct—we had some very early wake-ups.

Wonderful condo close to beach and pool

I stayed at the condo with 4 of my friends and we loved it. The kitchen is large and well equipped and the beds were quite comfortable. They brought in a futon for an extra bed for because we had 5 people. The location was fantastic!! We really enjoyed the fact that we could walk to the beach and the pool. I highly recommend this condo for your stay in Poipu.

Showing our grandson Kauai

This was a perfect, quiet get-away home-base for showing our son, daughter, and grandson Kauai. A calm snorkeling beach was within a short walk, complete with turtles and monk seals. We had access to three private pools. The condo and property were spacious, with a separate suite upstairs, a lovely garden lanai, and it was beautifully decorated. Thanks for a great stay!

Felt like home

This property felt like home. The house was clean and comfortable. I had everything I needed to prepare meals for my family. The washer and dryer was a life saver. The pool and beach were close by, just a short walk to both. I hope I get to come back one day.

Relaxing at Manualoha

From the minute my husband and I walked in it felt like a comforting family spot. We were blown away that the kitchen was so stocked with ALL appropriate utensils, anything needed to cook a full meal. The place was clean and very private. We will definitely consider it for another trip.

Great location on the south shore

This condo was well prepared for relaxing and enjoying our stay on the island. We greatly appreciated having a well supplied kitchen to make meals as most of the restaurants in the area were too busy for a toddler to manage the wait times. It was a wonderful surprise to find a set of beach towels and umbrella in the storage closet that we could use without having to buy our own. Overall a very private, quiet setting to enjoy early in the morning and late evenings after busy days of exploring and adventures.

Cute condo

This is a very cute condo, older but well-maintained. Ample room for our family and we enjoyed the parents-retreat upstairs while the kids slept downstairs. It is walking distance to the beach, but we chose to drive most of the time. Good street access too so we could explore the island easily. It's not obvious from the listing, but this condo does NOT have A/C (like most places on the island). It is well-ventilated and has ceiling fans throughout. Just in case that's something future renters would like to know. Also, we had a roll-out bed for our third child, but there isn't room in the bedroom for it, so that kid slept in the living room. No big deal, but again a detail that's helpful if you have adults or need more privacy. We would totally rent this place again.

Comfy and convenient

Great location! We loved being so close to Poipu Beach Park and the pool in Manualoha closest to the beach is quite nice though there is no hot tub at this pool. The condo itself was comfortable though I didn't realize our kids would be in a twin bedroom downstairs from us. The tub was not useable as the stopper is completely out. We appreciated that there appear to be actual owners who have boogie boards and other beach gear but the decor was not entirely to our liking. The peekaboo view of the ocean was nice but it would have been great to be on a higher level. All in all, I highly recommend this place. Oh yeah, the biggest problem for us was that it sounds like you are in the middle of a rooster hatchery and they start crowing as early as 4 am. We turned on white noise every night and wore ear plugs to try and block it out. I have to believe the roosters all over Kauai are going to become a big problem for the tourist industry if they can't contain the population better. There are more and more of them every time we come back to the island.

Location, cleanliness and helpful staff was much appreciated. Don’t expect much in the way of incidentals such as salt, pepper, coffee filters, tin foil, plastic baggies. They say Covid??? Had to make many trips to the store. Also read the fine print carefully for hidden fees. No hot tub in my suite!

Great location and lovely condo!

The location of this lovely property is in close proximity to the beach, shopping and gorgeous sunsets. We saw sea turtles and monk seals on the beach as well as numerous whales in the distance. We were so pleasantly surprised when we saw the master suite upstairs! It is such a tranquil oasis I could have stayed all day (but for the beauty outdoors). Beds were comfy and the condo is very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is equipped for the cooking we did and a Weber gas grill is available as well. The hubbies were glued to the two recliners for Super Bowl. There are two beautiful pools available to guests. We also enjoyed walking the paved trail that stretched from Brenneke’s Beach to Shipwreck Beach at the Hyatt. And be sure to make reservations at Kiawe Roots in Kalaheo for dinner! We hope to return and would certainly choose this property again.

Awesome Vacation with One Issue

Loved the property and location. Had one issue. The first night we had an after hours emergency. We called emergency number listed and left messages 2 different times and nobody replied. Day staff is awesome but do not need anything after 6:00 PM.

Roomy but Buggy

This condo is a roomy, two bed/two bath end unit. It was clean. We loved the location and proximity to the beach. We enjoyed our stay, but the condo had so many bugs and ants that kept biting us, we felt under attack all the time.

Perfect First Visit

Property was perfectly located within walking distance to a couple amazing beaches. We enjoyed several local restaurants within a few miles of the resort. We will visit again and certainly consider this unit if available.

The property met our needs, but at first glance, my wife was not pleased. It was the right amount of space for our family, so we stayed for the 4 days. I am overall satisfied, but my wife thought we could do better....

Peaceful area great house

Had 5 nights on our first trip to Kauai, very impressed with this lush island. The house and resort was very well maintained. Kauai is the cleanest place I’ve ever been, no litter anywhere. The house was great for my family with two kids. The beach at Poipu is perfect local area where we saw Monk Seals at sunset- unreal! Hanalei was a beautiful area, Tunnels beach is stunning and saw 4 turtles. 5 nights was not long enough.

Nice place

The condo is very roomy. However, it is really tucked in and surrounded by tall trees and although private, there is NO breeze going through there ever. Even on the top floor. I would not recommend this property in summer. We about died it was so hot even with fans. There is no ocean view and it’s a walk to the beach. Kitchen was the most well stocked I’ve ever had. Pre-Requested cots set up the day we arrived because we would be getting in late . Cots were not delivered. There are NO phone numbers that work to get a hold of anyone. I had to call security to find out who to reach about the extra beds. I was really disappointed with that. Took 45 min to get the cots. Kids were asleep on the tile floor after a long travel day. Went to the office next day to officially check in and after mentioning it didn’t even get an apology. However....after sending a follow up email the owner called and apologized and was so so nice. Even comped me the night. So over all they fixed it . But reaching someone after hours is a problem and requesting something easy in advance didn’t work. The grounds are beautiful. Poipu beach is about a 10 min easy walk and beautiful. Condo was extremely well stocked, quiet and clean.

Comfortable and Homey

A coworker and I shared this condo for 15 days. It provided just the right degree of privacy, with opportunities to share meals and socialize during down time. We noticed that we quickly began referring to the condo as “home”, and in fact it has all the necessary amenities. The condo was overall comfortable, but there were several aspects that could be improved: The fridge is overdue for upgrade, and the two twin beds were adequate but not the best. (My coworker said the upstairs bed was very good.) Minor replacements to things like placemats, welcome mats, and broken bathroom scales would give the place a needed facelift. The kitchen was well-stocked with good cookware, and we discovered the ease of using an induction cooktop. The condo was adequately clean when we arrived, though hardly spotless. There were plenty of crisp linens and towels. There were “starter” quantities of things like paper towels, toilet paper, and dishwashing detergent, but be aware that you are responsible for providing your own thereafter. We notified the management that the condo binder should include basic instructions on using the induction cooktop, and on the TV remotes, both of which stymied us initially. (Management was receptive to the suggestions, so presumably this has been addressed.) Be aware that this unit does not have air conditioning, which is not necessarily a problem depending on the time of year and your own tolerance of heat and humidity. There are ceiling fans and screened, louvered windows for good cross-ventilation. We made use of the beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and boogie boards: a nice discovery, tucked away in the under-stairs closet. The condo feels quite private, despite being connected to another unit and being quite close to other buildings. This is in part due to clever landscaping. The grounds are very well-maintained. The washer/dryer were much appreciated, though the open floor plan and louvered doors throughout the unit mean that you would want to operate them while you are out of the unit, due to noise.

Grungy, they moved us to a better condo

When we got our keys and saw the place, we asked to be moved because it wasn't cleaned properly. Suite Paradise was gracious to give us better accommodations.
