Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arriving to an alley behind an auto repair shop was concerning but the property was truly a beautiful site on cliffs above the Pacific. Host team was prompt when we needed help with no hot water. Kitchen tools & appliances plentiful. Biggest drawback: limited common space & seating inside, no table and chairs for dining, while outside furniture uncomfortable. Better for a small group but a lovely spot.

This rental was perfect for a long girls' weekend with my sister, cousin, and elderly mother (who has limited mobility.) The view from the back deck is amazing, and the house is in a quiet, yet convenient, location. It has a well-appointed kitchen, nice linens and all the amenities that you need for a comfortable stay. Check in was easy and communication with the host was a breeze, and we always knew that any assistance was readily available should we need it. We were also given a list in instructions to make our stay go as smoothly as possible. I would most-definitely stay here again!

4.5 stars... Beautiful, clean home with an incredible view, just as depicted! Joe was great! The only reason we did not give 5* was because of all the stipulations (many had fines associated with them). There were several pages worth, i.e., outdoor lights, hot tub, fire pit all had to be off by 8:00 pm (too early, especially while on vacation), cleaning despite paying a cleaning fee, etc. Overall, we had a fantastic time and the stipulations were a minor nuisance. Definitely 4.5*!

Crashing waves 24/7!!

My sister and I do a yearly trip to honor our dad around his birthday and this year we chose to stay close to home and found this GEM on VRBO. It couldn’t have been closer to the water…it was so great to leave the doors open and just listen to the waves. No (well, a motorcycle once in a while) traffic to speak of, lots of locals walking, jogging, riding bikes. We love to be locals too and we got to walk everywhere! The farmers market, two drugstores, a restaurant right outside your door (but they close early so if you’re late birds like we are, be prepared). Many restaurants and shops. Good mexican food up the street, but they screwed up our order. It was still good tho and a good price too. Our host, Joseph, couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive! We couldn’t find AA batteries one night and his son brought them lickety split and just dropped them inside the gate as not to disturb us. If I am going to nitpick, I’d say if you love to cook, maybe bring your own gear. They are well stocked but I found myself looking for my own types of cookware and utensils (no zester or rubber tongs….I was making dairy less pasta that requires lots of tossing) so if you like your own spatulas and the like, bring it with. They have basic stuff in the pantry too so you don’t need salt and pepper, coffee pods, tea bags (unless you’re picky like us!). The checkout process is easy too! I need more than 1500 characters! One of the best yet, we ARE coming back! Thank you Joseph!

Unbelievable Views!!!

Amazing property! The views are just as incredible as the photos! Loved the location. Loved having three king beds. Loved the cute breakfast place only steps away. The property manager was super helpful and available. Can't wait to find a time to stay here again. Out of 5 stars - this would be a 10!

AMAZING

We stayed here with our family of 5. The property was amazing! The sunsets were gorgeous! Great walking access to a little beach. Home had everything we needed. Lots of good restaurants close by.

This is a great spot but somehow I had thought it was larger. The bedrooms are small but nice to have a King size bed in each and felt there could have been one more easy chair in the living space.It was quite windy and chilly when we were there so we were not able to take as much advantage of the amazing outdoor deck as we would have like to....which makes the indoor space small. The management team were really responsive when the WIFI went down and resolved that quickly.Great spot but is definitely a beach house used only for rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was lovely and set inside Sunset Cliffs in Point Loma providing quick access to San Diego and it's counterparts quickly. Once "home", the outside world drifted away. The ocean views provided stunning sunsets, cool crisp mornings with foggy vistas, sailboats, surfers and even dolphins! Maybe our favorite part of all, was that delicious hot tub. It heated perfectly and provided the perfect spot to relax after a day out exploring. I would recommend this place to anyone.

5 Days for R&R and a Little Work

Perfect place to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets in your own private setting. Easy access to dining, trails, airport, etc. Will definitely return to O.B. for future trips!

Wonderful Stay!

Just as described, the view from the deck is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Very clean, and management is very responsive. Short walk around the corner to the beach (felt private). The city around the place is kind of bohemian like? It’s got a cool vibe to it. The breakfast place is maybe 50 feet away and great coffee/food. Definitely would stay again.

This house is all about the view, which is incredible. We enjoyed our stay. the house is well appointed and comfortable. The only thing I would mention is that is located behind a restaurant and you have to find it, it’s on a dirt road, so it was a bit confusing at first. But once you’re in the house, all of that is irrelevant. However, I would like to have known the location so I was not surprised when we pulled up.

Fabulous location

This is one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in! The view is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the house is clean and updated. The kitchen is well stocked and they provide beach towels and other needed enmities. The managing company is phenomenal and very responsive. I love the fact they meet you at the house and answer any questions you might have. Highly recommend this house and we will be back.
