La casa, una pequeña casa independiente ubicada a pocos pasos de Ortigia (unos 300mt) en el corazón de Corso Umberto, un importante eje vial construido durante la expansión urbana de finales del siglo XIX.
El distrito de Umbertino es muy céntrico y es el área "más cool" de Siracusa con muchos restaurantes, servicios y clubes de moda.
La casa está a pocos metros de la estación de tren y la terminal de autobuses, también ubicada en Corso Umberto, y también es posible llegar cómodamente en coche y encontrar aparcamiento gratuito en la calle.
La ubicación central le permite disfrutar de todos los servicios del vecindario y sumergirse a pie y en poco tiempo en el ambiente mágico de Ortigia.
A pocos pasos puede llegar a una playa equipada en la playa del embarcadero de Santa Lucía o, alternativamente, puede caminar a los diversos solariums ubicados en el paseo marítimo de Ortigia.

Filinona Suite, es una pequeña y elegante independiente de unos 70m2 ubicada dentro del patio de una cuadra del distrito del siglo XIX, ideal para pasar una estancia relajante.

Clean, Spacious and Perfect Walking Location

Everything was accessible with a short walk to historical sites, restaurants, and stores. We had a little trouble getting in, because you must enter a big portal and traffic made it a little stressful to unload and get in the property. But Andrea our host stayed with us on the phone until we got through the portal, into the apartment door. Once settled, it was so comfortable to stay in... but we did get to go explore. Andrea gave us good recommendations on restaurants and other sites to see. We appreciate that extra hospitality.

Perfect hideaway in the middle of Syracuse

The BnB was very fresh and cleaned with a/c that kept it in a nice temperature despite the high summer temperature outside. Thanks to the fact that the house was on the inner yard of the building block no noice at all disturbed us during nights. Kitchen had all equipment for dinner making. Several smaller supermarkets in the neighborhood. And the market in Ortigia only Fiume minutes walk away.

Lovely apartment

Excellent location in Siracusa close to grocery, restaurants, and an easy walk from Ortygia and fine outdoor market. The Hop on, Hop off bus strops nearby. Beautiful apartment, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Highly recommended. We enjoyed our stay very much! Suggestions: We do suggest that they add a few knives (Chef knife & bread knife) for meal preparation, and a light over the stove would be helpful.

Wij verbleven 8 nachten in de FilinonaSuite, het appartement is uitstekend ingericht en er ontbreekt werkelijk niets aan.Slechts twee puntjes van aandacht:,de douche is wat aan de kleine kant voor flinke mensen. En info met nuttige telefoonnummers ingeval van nood of artsenbezoek. Alhoewel aan een drukke straat gelegen, toch heel stil.De eigenaars zijn zeer attent vol en behulpzaam. Wij willen dit adres aan iedereen aanbevelen en komen graag nog eens terug.

Absolutely amazing!

Perfect apartment, perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left our stay was perfect. Luna and Andrea gave us a run down of the local area, whatsapped us additional information throughout our stay and even gave us a guided tour of Noto. The apartment is perfectly located, surrounded by amenities and a short walk into Ortigia. It is very stylish and has everything you need. We cannot honestly think of a single thing to say about the place that was bad. Highly recommended. Five starts doesnt do it justice, it deserves more!

Carinissima Location in posizione strategica a Siracusa

L'appartamento è molto carino, arredato con cura e nei dettagli, fornito di tutti i servizi necessari e non solo a dispozione. Le foto rendono assolutamente idea di ciò che troverete (andando in vacanza spesso non è cosi). L'appartamento è poi in una posizione strategia di Siracusa, a pochissimi metri a piedi da Ortigia e allo stesso tempo tranquilla. Aggiungiamo ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Super Wohnung im Herzen von Syrakus

Wir haben Mitte Juni zu zweit eine Woche in Syrakus verbracht. Die Wohnung liegt optimal, um Syrakus fußläufig zu erkunden. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist hervorragend, es hat an Nichts gemangelt. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke. Hier kann man sich mit dem Nötigsten eindecken. Um einen Parkplatz zu finden, sind wir manchmal 2-3 Mal um den Block gefahren. Wird man nicht fündig, steht ein öffentlicher Parkplatz (10 € / Tag) zwei Gehminuten von der Wohnung entfernt zur Verfügung. Insgesamt eine super Woche in einer super Wohnung.

We stayed for 9 nights in this house hidden from the bustle of the main street behind a large door in a courtyard. It was an easy walk from the bus and train stations, which are in the same road. Around it are good places to eat and drink and a good supply of shops and supermarkets.The owners gave us helpful suggestions. It is a good place to be able to walk easily to most places of interest in Siracusa. We loved shopping in the market in Ortigia and using the well appointed kitchen to cook in. Because we are British the only thing we found lacking was a kettle for our morning cuppa. The house is minimalist in style and we loved that.although we recognise that the staircase might prove a bit difficult for people who have mobility problems and would not recommend for them. There is air-conditioning and fans. Dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, TV and systems for playing music on. There is also a toilet downstairs in the utility room as well as in the upstairs shower room. Mosquito's are a problem sitting out on the patio at night and some got into the bedroom despite the netting over the windows, but apart from that we slept very comfortably in the large double bed. We were sorry to leave!

Ferienwohnung in zentraler Lage in Siracusa; die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Ortigia zu Fuß zu erreichen, ansonsten gute Anbindung an Bus und Bahn; Straße und Viertel mit Cafés und kleinen Läden, angenehmes Flair; Wohnung trotz Innenstadtlage sehr ruhig, nachts keine Störungen; aus unserer Sicht architektonisch gelunge Wohnungsgestaltung und Einrichtung; Medien wie Fernsehen, Radio und Internet hervorragend, sogar interessante Bücher vorhanden; Küche gut funktional, Ausstattung könnte in Kleinigkeiten noch verbessert werden; Man kann dort sehr schöne Ferien verbringen und Siracusa und Sicilia von dort aus gut genießen.

Sehr saubere Ferienwohnung im Zentrum von Syrakus

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und toll eingerichtet. Sie liegt sehr zentral im Zentrum von Syrakus und ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. Alle Räume sind klimatisiert und beheizbar. Restaurants, Geschäfte und Bars sind bequem zu Fuss zu erreichen. Parken war kein Problem. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr nett. Hinweise zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restauranttips bekamen wir bei der persönlichen Schlüsselübergabe. Bei unserem nächsten Sizilienurlaub wohnen wir sicher wieder in der Filinona Suit.

Super Apartment in perfekter Lage

Die Wohnung von Luana liegt einfach perfekt, d.h. in einer Strasse in der es zahlreiche Restaurants und Frühstück-Möglichkeiten gibt, inklusive Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke. Wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, findet man in der Umgebung Parkplätze auch wenn man hin und wieder eine Runde mehr zum Suchen einplanen sollte. Zu Fuss in die Altstadt sind es gerade mal 5 Minuten. Die Wohnung selbst ist super ausgestattet, alles modern, hell und klare Strukturen. Die Musik-Anlage spielt Musik im gesamten unteren Stockwerk. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet und die Möglichkeit auch draussen zu sitzen ist eigentlich nur noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Ich kann Jedem, der nach Syrakus reist, diese Unterkunft ohne schlechtes Gewissen empfehlen. PS: Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern verlief sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gibt absolut nichts zu bemängeln.

Traumhafte Wohnung zwischen Ortigia und Archälogischem Park

Wir haben eine Woche in Syrakus verbracht und uns in dieser Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt im ruhigen Innenhof eines Wohngebäudes. Von dort aus erreicht man in nur ein paar Minuten die Insel Ortigia mit all ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Wohnung ist großzügig, sauber und in allen Räumen mit Klimaanlagen ausgestattet. Gleich in der Nähe sind ein Supermarkt, Bars und gute Restaurants. Wir können diese Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Très bonne expérience! Nous recommandons!

Un bel appartement très moderne, très propre, bien équipé. Il est parfaitement bien situé dans Syracuse à coté du pont qui relie la ville à Ortigia (centre historique). Luana ( propriétaire) nous a bien accompagnés pendant le séjour avec ses conseils et bonnes adresses des restau, bars, choses à faire. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour dans cette suite! Хорошая квартира чистая, современная, в ней есть все, что нужно. Она очень хорошо расположена в городе. Хозяйка Луана нам дала не мало советов куда сходить. Мы вам рекомендуем это место.

FilinonaSuite: Perfect Location Perfectly Comfortable

We spent 3 nights at FilinonaSuite. The apartment is perfectly situated to tour Ortygia -- easy walking distance. A secure and inexpensive car park was 2 blocks away. We arrived with the rental car and left it in the car park for out entire stay (it cost only 10E!) and we walked everywhere. We bought fresh produce, bread and cheese at the open market in Ortygia and enjoyed home cooked meals at the apartment. We've been traveling for one month so it was nice to eat in....Also to use the washer at the apartment! Andrea & Luana were unable to meet with us but arranged for a friend to do so (Christina?!). There was wi-if which worked fine!

Luana and Andrea were very nice hosts with nice contact before, during and after our holiday in Siracusa. Before arrival we received information on restaurants, bars and where we can park the car nearby, on arrival we were greeted nicely and got further hints to excursions and beaches. During our stay the two of them asked themselves if everything is ok. The apartment is wonderfully located. You can reach the old town (Ortigia) in just a few minutes. The apartment is located in a courtyard, which leaves the Italian hustle and bustle outside, so you can sleep very well despite the central location. If you open the large wooden door you are in the middle of Italian life! You are not allowed to park in the courtyard, but we always found a parking lot very close to the flat. There is a small supermarket right around the corner in the same block. To the beach you have to drive 10 minutes by car, but with rental car no problem at all! The apartment is the same as described and shown in the pictures. It is very modern and stylish and very clean. There is everything you need. One star deduction is only because the inside of the kitchen cabinets have a bit damp and musty smell. Also the apartment itself has a very slight moist smell, which immediately disappeared, when the air conditioners run for 5 minutes! We had a great holiday, in which we only missed the sun a little! Moderna e confortevole

La casa è perfetta, arredata con gusto da Luana ed Andrea con arredamento moderno, è resa molto accogliente ed è curata in ogni dettaglio. All'ingresso un comodo salottino con stereo in filodiffusione, un piacere tornare dal mare e mettere su un pò di musica in sottofondo. Poi si continua con un'ampia cucina con patio e primo bagno con lavatrice. Al piano di sopra un altro bagno ed un'enorme camera da letto. Tutto profumava, tutto perfetto. Senza parlare dei servizi, c'era di tutto, da stoviglie, a lenzuola e coperte, passando per sapone per lavastoviglie e lavatrice. La posizione pure è incredibile, in corso umberto, zona preferita dai siracusani, ma a 5 min a piedi da Ortigia, nei dintorni ci sono i posti bianchi per le auto. Infine nota di merito ad Andrea e Luana, sono stati eccezionali, ci davano consigli ovunque noi fossimo. Li ringrazio vivamente. Se dovessi tornare in zona li ricontatterò.

Senza parlare dei servizi, c'era di tutto, da stoviglie, a lenzuola e coperte, passando per sapone per lavastoviglie e lavatrice. La posizione pure è incredibile, in corso umberto, zona preferita dai siracusani, ma a 5 min a piedi da Ortigia, nei dintorni ci sono i posti bianchi per le auto. Infine nota di merito ad Andrea e Luana, sono stati eccezionali, ci davano consigli ovunque noi fossimo. Li ringrazio vivamente. Se dovessi tornare in zona li ricontatterò.
