Queridos invitados,

Estaríamos encantados si decides quedarte en esta casa que nos permitió desentrañar muchos de los secretos de esta ciudad fundada por los griegos en el siglo VI a. C. Los detalles de la ciudad son innumerables e impresionantes. Al permanecer en lo que solía ser el barrio judío a principios de la Edad Media, puede ver fácilmente una parte justa de él.

Nuestro apartamento es gay friendly y muy tranquilo. Está en la cima de un edificio típico del barrio, al que se llega por varios tramos de escaleras. Es básico, pero completo, un poco peculiar e idiosincrásico en estilo. Probablemente tendrá la impresión de estar en un barco anclado en un paisaje muy emocionante. El piso también se puede amueblar para satisfacer necesidades específicas: hay dos chimeneas, y se pueden poner hamacas en las terrazas y también es ideal para sesiones de fotos modelo. Laura y Alessandro le darán la bienvenida, quienes podrán responder cualquier consulta y brindarle información actualizada.

La cocina está bien planificada y muy bien amueblada, decorada con mayólica vietri.
Mientras está sentado en la terraza, con los naranjos y limoneros cerca, en verano puede oler las plantas de romero y lavanda y las flores de jazmín. De lo contrario, solo mire la fachada cercana de la Catedral o déjese distraer por la vida en la calle que se desmorona a sus pies, mirando hacia abajo desde los diferentes balcones.
A decir verdad: ¡Nápoles es un lugar de renacimiento!
Hay muchas tiendas, bares, boutiques, pizzerías y excelentes restaurantes en todo el vecindario. El apartamento está a poca distancia a pie de las diferentes líneas de metro que lo llevarán a Pozzuoli, el puerto y la estación de tren, y desde allí a Pompeya, el Vesubio y Herculano. Se puede llegar fácilmente a los ferries que lo llevarán a Capri, Ischia y Procida paseando por el antiguo centro de la ciudad.
Hay muchas iglesias asombrosas cerca y también algunos museos de calidad: el Museo Arqueológico Nacional (recientemente renovado), la colección Madre, Donnaregina Vecchia (con frescos de Giotto) y la Galería Capodimonte.

Finalmente, la playa con aguas azules y cristalinas está a solo media hora de distancia ... ¿aún dudas?

Thanks for hosting our stay in Napoli. The apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring the small streets full of hustle and bustle. The space is a real home from home, full of interesting artifacts and a world away from the sterile places often advertised these days. Stille und beeindruckender Blick in der Altstadt

Eine besondere Dachgeschosswohnung mitten in der Altstadt, von der großen Terrasse Blick auf Meer und Vesuv. Wen es nicht stört, in die private Welt eines Professors einzutauchen, für den ist die Wohnung perfekt.

Séjour très agréable

Appartement spacieux très agréable et lumineux meublé un peu style brocante et fonctionnel situé au 4 eme étage . Nous étions 2 personnes en février avec des températures très douces . Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la terrasse . La localisation est idéale dans le centre historique et près des restaurants et des commerces permettant d explorer la ville à pied.. Nous recommandons la pizzeria Donna Sofia et les restaurants TANDEM via Paladino et surtout la Salumeria Upnea, via Pignatelli. Nous avons passé une semaine culturelle et gastronomique bien agréable ..

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter im Vorfeld der Reise war reibungslos. In der Wohnung wurden wir sehr herzlich von Alessandro mit einer typisch neapolitanischen Süßigkeit begrüßt. Die Wohnung befindet sich im Herzen des historischen Zentrums von Neapel. Fußläufig sind alle möglichen Lebensmittelgeschäfte und Supermärkte gut erreichbar. Auch zwei Metrostationen für unterschiedliche Linien befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. In der Wohnung haben wir alles vorgefunden, was man braucht, vom Föhn bis zum Wasserkocher und Adapterstecker. Die große Terrasse ist sehr einladend und bestens zum Entspannen geeignet. Über eine Wendeltreppe erreicht man eine Dachterrasse, von der man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Vesuv und über ganz Neapel bis hin zum Golf hat. Die Wohnung gleicht nicht einem unpersönlichen Hotelzimmer. Wie man auf dem Fotos sieht, lässt man sich darauf ein, in den persönlichen Erinnerungen des Besitzers zu leben, die einen auf eine Reise um die ganze Welt schicken. Katrin und Michael

Great place great view over the roofs of the old town all the way to the sea. It has everything you need and much more. The bed is super and the hosts where most helpful. I would definitely come back on my next stay. Museum and pulsating life are perfect to grasp the real Napoli. Visit the really best Pizzeria "I tre santi" just minutes away. Its a must.

An amazing place!

Lemon Tree Terrace is an amazing place to stay. Full of character and memorabilia. It’s extremely convenient for all the sights in the Centro Storico, with a supermarket and good restaurants nearby. We had a warm welcome from Laura and Alessandro who were easily accessible through the week to answer any queries. The flat was warm and comfortable, very quiet, with a well appointed and compact kitchen area, and plenty of spices etc. for use. The terrace has a lovely view over Naples. We were there in the winter, so it was cool, but it must be wonderful in summer - a real sun trap.

A fantastic stay in Naples...

The Lemon Tree Terrace is a unique apartment. The views from the main terrace and the upper terrace are just loveley, whether it is breakfast in the shade or dinner under the stars it is a great experience.....it does come at a price, there are 90 steps up from the street.....but the view is definately worth it. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for your stay, the apartment does have a lot more furniture and collectibles than anyone could ever need but the quirky nature, the great location and the VIEW make it all worth while. Would definately stay again the next time we are visiting Naples.

Loved Naples inspite of the “Penthouse.”

Gaia, the young lady who was my host was perfectly delightful. She was available to answer any of my questions, and overall very helpful. And in the days leading up to my arrival, she even texted me to introduce herself. She gets an A+ from me. The living area, kitchen and bathroom in the apartment were all clean as were the fresh sheets on the bed, but that is really the only positive things I can say about Lemon Tree Terrace. The owner is obviously an intellectual, a well-traveled and culturally diverse individual who is also a pack rat hoarder. The bedroom was crammed full of furniture which made me feel like I was sleeping in someone’s storage unit. The entrance was an office space which was filled with office supplies, odds and ends, protest signs, dirty windows, memorabilia from another time and place all pushed into a corner with absolutely no consideration given to aesthetics. There was some kind of remodeling or construction going on in this area also. There were walls torn out exposing electrical wires, and gaping holes in the ancient concrete walls; sheet rock was just thrown up in a helter-skelter manner which made for a rather despressing and frightening atmosphere. However the thing that bothered me the most was the Lemon Tree Terrace itself. This was one of the major selling points of the apartment, and it was neglected and uninviting. All the outdoor furniture was pushed together under a dirty tarp which I did not feel like undoing. I paid a very reasonable amount of money and I feel like I was duped. I have rented from VRBO many times before and have never been this disappointed in a vacation accommodation. I would have never rented Lemon Tree Terrace had it seen it in person before hand.

Wir lebten die tiefsten Empfindungen in den Gassen von Napoli und die Leichtigkeit des Seins über den Dächern dieser verborgenen Stadt. Chaotisches Ambiente

Zuerst die positiven Seiten dieser Wohnung : sie war relativ sauber und hatte eine große Dachterrasse mit schönem Blick über Neapel! Ich kann mich den vorherigen Kritiken in keiner Weise anschließen ! Die Wohnung ist eine chaotische Messibude ! Wir reise viel und mieten oft über FEWO unsere Häuser aber ich habe mich noch nie so getäuscht gefühlt von Bildern und der Realität! Man lebt in der Wohnung in sämtlichen Kleidungsstücken,Seifensachen,Büchern, Akten und Kram des Vermieters! Die Wohnung ist teilrenoviert,teils im Umbau begriffen ! überall Kartons, Bretter und wahllos zugemüllt mit irgendwelchen Antiqitäten man kann sich kaum bewegen! Ausserdem ist die Hitze in der Dachgeschosswohnung unerträglich! Klimaanlagen hängen an den Wänden, funktionieren aber nicht ! die Bitte nach einem Ventilator wurde abschlägig beschieden!

Wirklich tolle Ferienwohnung

Aufenthalt für 8 Tage resp. 7 Nächte zu zweit. Lage der Wohnung für Centro Storico ideal und für ÖV unterwegs gut. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und voller Erinnerungsstücke an den früheren Besitzer. Morgens haben wir auf der unteren Terrasse das Frühstück genossen. Tagsüber waren wir in Neapel und Umgebung unterwegs. Jeden Abend genossen wir den Sonnenuntergang (ca. 19.45 Uhr) auf der oberen Terrasse. Ausblick und Wohlfühleffekt für uns fantastisch.

I FELT AT HOME

I had an amazing experience staying at this gorgeous The lemon Tree Terras. It is truly a work of art, many Books and Music; and I were able to relax (so quiet surrounding!) and enjoy the beautiful and interesting Ancient Centre around. And Gaia is one of the rare super hosts you can find on OwnersDirect, and with a person like that its guaranteed to have a great time. Communication was perfect and she was really helpful when ever I needed assistance, Was a pleasure and hope I can stay at The Lemon Tree Terras again! A house with his own identity!

The amazing Lemon Tree Terrace

We stayed 3 nights at the Lemon Tree Terrace, the apartment is spacious, clean and atypical. The location is great, in the center of Naples. The best part is the beautiful Terrace, it is well adjusted and the view is spectacular.

I grew up in Oxford, travelled to the Middle-East a lot and got married with a Dutchman. We used the flat in Napels when I myself, my son or other family members were there for work and research.

On the contrary to many other European cities which have lost their authenticity in the last decades, Napels has shown itself very resilient to change. Fortunately in the last years, life in the city has hugely improved for visitors and tourists: we are seen as guests of honour these days. As Istanbul, Napels lies on the frontier of the West, by walking around you will catch glimpse of stones carved millennia ago. Significantly, the apartment is situated on the junction between the typical lively Neapolitan neighbourhoods and the more solemn monument rich ducumani area. Ideally, from out this location you can experience both thus, and visit the remanences of the ancient city under the surface (Napoli sotterranea) moreover!

It's like feeling you are living in a villa, while in fact you are staying at the heart of the largest ancient city centre of the world! This is quite remarkable.
