La Cámara de puerta azul es una casa situada en el típico y único barrio de Beira Mar.
Situado en el casco antiguo, la casa fue completamente renovado en 2016 y diseñado para mantener el exterior original oferta apariencia comodidad y bienestar interior.

La casa tiene un dormitorio, un baño, cocina, sala de estar y comedor y un fantástico patio interior.
La decoración de la casa en busca de comodidad, funcionalidad y encanto del espacio.
La casa está equipada con mesa de comedor, sofá cama, Smart TV 40 "con 100 canales por cable, internet y una estufa para calefacción natural.
La cocina dispone de nevera, microondas, placa de inducción, lavavajillas y lavadora, cafetera y todos los utensilios necesarios para las comidas, no debe ser tentado por los muchos restaurantes de la zona.

El Beira Mar es el más típico y pintoresco distrito de Aveiro. Aquí, en el centro de la ciudad, es posible conocer a los personajes más originales y características de la ciudad (el pescador, el salineiro, etc.).
Justo al lado encontrar ejemplos de Art Nouveau, así como se puede descubrir fácilmente una sal marina de guerra.
Piérdete en los canales de Aveiro Ria explorando poco a poco el corazón de la ciudad.
Ah, y no deje de probar los huevos Moles :)

The apartment is smaller than we thought but we did not spend much time in it. The apartments was clean and we did use the washing machine once which worked. We did not use the outside patio as the weather did not permit, there were some strong winds during the week. Some of the neighbors clothing blew on the patio, not sure which neighbor. We would recommend Yeah Aveiro, a local restaurant with great pizza. Boteco Aveiro, and Pizzaria do Nosso Bairro are also very good restaurant. The apartment is walkable to every section of the historic town and canals. We recommend taking a ride on the Moliceiros boats to see the city from the canals. Stop by and visit Capela De sao Bartolomeu chapel at the end of the street and read the story of the chapel. Felipe promply answered our questions. It was a good experience the apartment is good for a couple but would be crowded with more than 2 people.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in your apartment. Everything was there .The location was brilliant only a short walk to restaurants and the centre. The only downfall was the kitchen cupboards were very high although there was a step provided it was still difficult, especially for shorter people to get things out.

Perfect location

Check in was very simple. House looked exactly as the listing shows. It’s located super close to restaurants and downtown but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. We had to park at a public parking area on the other side of the river and left our car there for a couple days. There was no issues with the parking besides it being about 5 minutes away. You can walk to everything in less time than you could drive. Beautiful town and great accommodations!

Love the house with the blue door!

We stayed for 17 nights in this very modern & extremely clean house in Aveiro. Felipe, the owner, is prompt in responding to any & all enquiries - he is a very gracious & helpful host. The kitchen is a perfect open space for cooking, the bedroom is spacious with plenty of storage for clothes - and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is small, but light and airy - with a good sized shower and great water-pressure. The open-plan living area leads to a small enclosed courtyard, which is comfortably furnished. During our stay Felipe visited us regularly with clean bed linens and towels.....although there is a washing machine in the house. Wi-Fi was strong and reliable. The house is perfectly positioned in the old town of Aveiro.....although only steps away from shops, restaurants, cafés and the canals it's on a very quiet street....so great for sleeping. Communication problems

This was our first experience with Vrbo. Our impressions from the ad was a location in view of the canal and a full laundry. What we got was a place on a narrow street and a washer but no dryer. Mostly this is a communication issue and our unfamiliarity with typical units in Europe. 1. We didn’t have instructions for the washer and everything is in Portuguese so it took YouTube and Google translate to figure it out 2. We found the drying rack which we set upon the living room but we didn’t know how to operate the HVAC unit to help get the clothing dry. 3. Appliances in the kitchen like the hot water kettle didn’t work 4. The bed and couch had an odor that was unpleasant, maybe the disinfectant used by the cleaning crew If this is intended for English speakers then an English handbook would help.

Points forts : Proprio réactif par mail, localisation idéale, ruelle calme la nuit (travaux en journée), petite cours sympa, aménagement intérieur complet (manque juste un fer à repasser), lit confortable, espace de vie agréable. Points faibles : Aucun contact de visu (direct) comme nous l'avons eu à Porto et Coimbra (c'est quand même plus sympa), articles IKEA bancales, canapé-lit peu confortable. Ce logement est malgré tout appréciable, reste intéressant et est un bon qualité/prix.

Owner was not available to show us the apartment, entry by way of code lock. This apartment does not have heat, just an electric heater. When I contacted owner he was able to come the next day at 9 pm. Wood stove was available but no wood, he consequently brought wood on day 3. No clothes rack available washing machine worked but owner had to bring clothes rack when asked. No folder with instructions only manuals on the stove and washing machine in a bottom drawer and in Portuguese only. Did not attempt the tv. When I asked about the trash I was told to leave it outside front door on the street, the next morning the trash was all over the road which we picked up. Kitchen plates glasses pots and pans were in high cupboards that required a step stool to access these. Apartment was clean but dark. Parking was hard as not available on the same street. Some more care to details needed to make this place a better rental. It is important that owner or representative be available to explain how equipment is operated.

Dear Customer, I find your review very strange. I STRONGLY recommend that before any booking you read the house details. In reply: 1. The manuals are in 4 languages; 2. The clothes rack we only provide on request (wich we did); 3. The same for the wood (on request); 4. No AC (as in the house details); 5. There are bin bags on the street; Best Regards PS: i also find very strange a guest leaving 5 garbage bags on the house

Beautifully presented house in very good location close to canal and good restaurants.

This is a beautifully designed and tasteful house with good facilities. It has a lovely outside partially covered sitting area. the location is great and close to all amenities. Philippe met us at the house on arrival and the welcome was great as well as the information he gave us about the location and Aveiro. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house.

Tolle moderne Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist für 2 Personen perfekt, liegt in einem portugiesischem Wohngebiet. Man kann zu Fuß die Stadt erkunden oder mit dem Auto in 15 Minuten an den tollen Stränden sein.

Great little house in a very central location

We based ourselves in Aveiro to explore the coast and nearby cities by bus. The central location made it easy to visit everything Aveiro has to offer such as canal trips, museum, cathedral, shopping, but also to access buses for the coast - we loved the beaches and the nature reserve - and cities such as Coimbra and Viseu, which are both well worth a visit. The flat was well equipped and comfortable - pity the sun doesn't reach the lovely courtyard in November though! The owner communicated well by text, but it would have been more helpful if he had been able to meet us on arrival, instead of sending his father who was very nice but had limited English and was not able to answer all our questions about the flat. We soon settled in, though, and really enjoyed our stay.
