Graciosa porciòn de casa colonial en piedra , ubicada en una posiciòn panoramica sobre las colinas que rodean Cortona.La casa , con una esplendida vista del Val di Chiana y del lago Trasimeno a estado saviamente reestructurada y dividida en 2 unidades ( una de ellas ocupada del propietario )La decoraciòn muy cuidada en estilo rùstico.

Distancia :Tienda de vìveres a 2 km , pizzeria a breve distancia 100 m , la bella ciudadela medieval de Cortona con tiendas de todo tipo a 4 km , Foiano della Chiana con campo de Golf a casi 15 km , Arezzo a 30 km , Perugia a 45 km.
El lago Trasimeno con playas equipadas se encuentra a casi 20 km , La bella localidad de Assisi , Montepulciano , Chianciano Terme y Chiusi en el radio de 40 km .Campo de tenis a casi 2 km .A breve distancia de la propiedad pasa una calle secundaria , poco traficada.

Wir waren 1 Woche bei Ivan und seiner Familie. Wir waren schon in vielen Ferienwohnungen in der Toskana. Noch nie sind wir so herzlich empfangen und gehostet worden wie hier. Die Einrichtung ist toskanatypisch hochwertig und die Küche umfangreich und vollständig ausgestattet. Alles picobello sauber und das Grundstück von der Famillie sehr gepflegt. Toller Pool mit kleinem Sprungbrett. Ideal für Familie. Es gibt ein kleines Nebengebäude zur separaten Miete, das sehr modern und fein hergerichtet wurde. Die überaus freundlichen Eigentümer machten unseren Urlaub zu einem besonders schönen, und das bei nicht idealem Wetter. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen. Grazie Mille Domenica, Giovanni und Ivan.

Wir hatten eine wunderschönen Urlaub bei Ivan. Das Haus ist liebevoll im toskanischen Stil eingerichtet. Der Pool und Garten, mit einem herrlichen Ausblick, ein Traum. Ivan und seine Eltern sind sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Solche Gastgeber hatten wir noch nie. Wir wurden sogar zum Abendessen mit der Familie eingeladen. Grazie Mille Ivan. Ein wahnsinnig toller Urlaub in einer unglaublich entspannten Atmosphäre. Sehr herzliche Gastgeber, bei denen man sich wie bei seiner zweiten Familie fühlt. Das Haus ist super eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Die Lage ist ca. 5km oberhalb von Cortona mit einem tollen Weitblick über das Chiana-Tal. Bestens geeignet, um so richtig schön zu entspannen. Da kommt man doch sehr gern wieder.

100 % Toskana - Das von rustikalem Charme angehauchte, traditionelle, toskanische Ferienhaus liegt oberhalb der wunderschönen Bergstadt Cortona und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick über die Landschaft bis zum Trasimenischen See. Die Anlage verfügt über einen Pool, einen zur Mitnutzung freigegebenen Gemüsegarten, geräumige Schlafzimmer und eine große Wohnküche. Ein besonderer Höhepunkt unseres Aufenthaltes war der gemeinsame Abend mit unserer Gastfamilie, bei der traditionelle toskanische Gerichte und in der Region angebauter Wein angeboten wurden. Die Herzlichkeit der Vermieter ist unvergleichlich und sucht Ihresgleichen. Danke für eine fantastische Zeit!

One of our best holidays! Have been all over the world, a few times in the Toscana over the past years. This house and ground looks identical as on the pictures. Casa Ivan, home from home and what a wonderful experience. Apart from the incredible setting and convenience for those with kids, Ivan, Giovanni and Maria Domenica are just incredible. Lovely villa, the hosts were really welcoming and checking in regularly to make sure everything was ok. The only downside was that it was quite cold in the building as the weather wasn't great and there didn't seem to be a way to switch the heating on. The pizzeria across from the villa was lovely - great food and we were only 6 min drive down the hill to Cortona

In posizione panoramicissima con ampia vista sul Trasimeno e la Valdichiana, facilmente raggiungibile a 5 km da Cortona salendo in direzione di Portole e del passo della Cerventosa, la casa è bellissima, con un ampio e accogliente soggiorno con camino e una cucina perfettamente attrezzata. Un corridoio conduce alle 2 ampie camere (una matrimoniale e una con 2 letti singoli, che sommate al divano in soggiorno fanno 6 posti letto) e al bel bagno con doccia. Nel giardino c'è una gradevole piscina, fruibile nei mesi estivi. L'accoglienza, la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Ivan e della sua famiglia sono state a dir poco straordinarie.

Everything is more than perfect about this place: The views above Cortona, both towards Lago di Tresemeno and towards Valdichiena, the House equiped with a great kitchen and bathroom, the simple yet tasteful and rural interior, the fantastic Private Pool area with sunchairs and umbrellas, the lovely patio just to sit and relax and let the world pass by, the local restaurant with the most beautiful terrace, but especially the warm hearted family who owns and run the place. Wonderful apartment. This apartment was clean and carefully maintained. Had all the necessities for cooking and a great layout. Ivan and his family are very warm and gracious hosts. Not intrusive but helpful and very welcoming. They have a bountiful garden that they encouraged us to use. The location was a great jumping off point for our road trips to Siena, Civita di Bagnoregio, Montalcino, Sansepolcro and Cortona. It is a great place to just hang out. The views are really beautiful of the valley below. The little restaurant across the street was really good. The one thing to be aware of is that the altitude makes it a little cooler than lower down. My only disappointment was not being able to use the pool but that was the weather's fault and not our hosts. The pool looked great. I would definitely rent here again.

Staying at Casa Ivan was the highlight of my trip to Italy. We rented the house for three weeks and used it as our homebase, coming back to it after a few days in different places around Italy. We were always very eager to get back to Cortona and Casa Ivan. The family who owns the home and live upstairs are the kindest people I've ever met and made us all feel at home and part of the family. We had wonderful baked goods, special treats, espresso in the afternoons in the kitchen upstairs. It was just a treat to be at Casa Ivan. I am already planning my return trip, they family truly strives to make their home feel like your second home. They are very successful at doing this and making you feel part of the family. The house is so comfortable, the grounds beautiful, the location relaxing. I can't get back soon enough!

Tuscany has been a dream for many years, and thanks to a beautiful family and a wonderful villa in a spectacular part of Italy that dream came to life. The minute we arrived it felt like home! From the warm welcome we received from Ivan and his lovely family to the special touches, of home baked goods, a platter of meats and cheese, eggs and fresh fruit was unexpected but so welcome and delicious. The family is wonderful hosts, and we were made to feel part of their special family from the minute we arrived. The warm and friendly welcome we received from Ivan, the coffee with Nona and Maria was a highlight every day, and Maria makes a fantastic espresso (I am now a converted espresso drinker), Giovanni’s vino rosso is just as good as any bottle of wine we drank, and Ivan & Maria’s home made pizza an bruschetta were a taste sensation. The villa looks just as it does in the pictures, actually even better. The pool and gardens are lovely and a great place to relax under the Tuscan sun!! My favorite spot was on the little terrace at the table, watching the world go by, and listening and watching the comings and goings from the piazza and restaurant across the road. Casa Ivan is in a great location to explore the sites of Tuscany and Umbria the signage and directions are easy to follow, and the views of the countryside are like postcards. Ivan arranged for a day of cooking and this was a highlight. We shopped at the markets for our produce, then spent the day at a villa cooking, chatting, laughing, and best of all eating and drinking. Would definitely recommend adding this to the list of must do’s. Ivan speaks English very well, but Maria, Giovanni and Nona do not speak any, but the language barrier was not an issue. I knew very basic Italian, and we could converse and understand each other. I looked forward to coffee time and chats with the family. I was sad to leave, and know that I will definitely be back. Casa Ivan above Cortona is the very best place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The family who rents the first floor apartment really cares about your comfort and visit. They make you feel apart of their loving family. We felt spoiled by their kindness. The apartment is fully equiped and the extras that Ivan and Maria provide in a welcoming appetizer, morning coffee and a special dinner is a fabulous experience. The location to visit nearby hill towns is ideal. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here more than other places we have stayed in Italy and other countries. I can not thank the owners enough for an outstanding stay.

Casa Ivan above Cortona is the very best place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The family who rents the first floor apartment really cares about your comfort and visit. They make you feel apart of their loving family. We felt spoiled by their kindness. The apartment is fully equiped and the extras that Ivan and Maria provide in a welcoming appetizer, morning coffee and a special dinner is a fabulous experience. The location to visit nearby hill towns is ideal. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here more than other places we have stayed in Italy and other countries. I can not thank the owners enough for an outstanding stay.

Casa Ivan is a truly a vacation place, which we can recommend full heartedly. The owners were very friendly and we felt like being part of the family. The house is nice, and it's very well furnished with good style. The location is quiet and within few minutes car drive from Cortona. (Forgot to comment erlier, but now considering renting the house again)
