Lovely stay for our family trip

We really enjoyed this spacious home just 25 minutes outside of the City. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, and the kitchen was incredibly well-stocked. We particularly loved the garden, which was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea or eating dinner outside. We appreciated the host meeting us for check-in and giving us a quick tour of their lovely family home. We highly recommend this home for family with kids looking for a relaxing spot within an easy journey of many attractions!

Good location, nice house

Simple lockbox check in, communication was good. Nice traditional house, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen well equipped. Decorated for Christmas, including a tree, which was a lovely surprise. Thank you for letting us share your home.

Look at those home photos!

Beautifully upgraded 3 story townhouse with an ideal backyard and 2 living rooms with full couches and flat screens. Near a bus stop and an easy to find church location. Kind owner, comfortable beds, long dining tables inside and out. Plenty of dishes. You’ll love it!

Excellent!

We had a great stay at the listing with two families (7 total). Communication with owner was excellent, very professional yet cordial. The house was extremely clean, could not have been better. Many rooms and beds, everybody had a great time in a very spacious beautiful home. Couches were very comfy, great place to relax. I recommend it very highly - we would go back anytime. Thank you!

An amazing find

I rented this house to host a reunion weekend. Ten of us stayed over comfortably and a couple more joined for dinner. It is a beautiful house in a fantastic location, and the owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. They have thought of everything visitors might need for a flexible and relaxing stay. I would highly recommend this house, and couldn't find anything that even came close to it on my search.

We had a wonderful two day stay in Frances beautiful house. Just perfect!

I cannot thank Frances enough for kindly renting her beautiful home to us. We truly had a fabulous weekend. A gathering of 10 friends and we couldn’t have asked for more, plenty of room, really comfy beds, exceptionally clean, extremely well equipped .... Just perfect. Thank you so much. Wonderful stay

Wonderful experience for a group of eight. Spacious— lots of room. Great natural light. Rock solid and consistent WiFi. Great neighborhood. Good restaurants nearby. Loved the kitchen. Several nearby grocery stores (and well-stocked kitchen) made cooking at home a cost-effective and tasty option. Last, if you’re lucky, you may also catch a glimpse of a cheeky fox sunning itself in the backyard.

Darling and spacious home with plenty of room for our 2 families. We had a lovely stay!

This was a terrific house for two families visiting London. Several bedrooms and bathrooms made for a comfortable stay for our large group. The house is clean and large. The backyard was lovely! We ate breakfast outside and loved spending time relaxing in the garden after a long day of sightseeing. We walked to the small town several times to visit restaurants and the grocery store. Our kids enjoyed the park at the end of the street- terrific playground and beautiful trails, as well as a cafe with yummy treats and coffee.

Great family accommodations while in London!

Our group had a wonderful stay at the house. Bathrooms and kitchen were very modern and up to date. Frances, our hostess, was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Public transportation and food shopping were close by. It was a quiet area of London. An added bonus for the grandkids was outside play equipment. Also, many board games were there for everyone. Overall, a great experience.

London Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! It accommodated my family of 9 perfectly for 5 days. It was just a short walk to the nearest train station where we were able to connect to other trains on the local route. Frances was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage before check in on the day of arrival - which was very helpful. We enjoyed spending time in the family room and in the kitchen every evening. Great times and memories! Thanks again Frances!

Fabulous family home

We totally enjoyed our stay in this spacious home. Stayed for three weeks with my mother, four children and two nannies. There was adequate room for all. Very good transport links into sloane square. Neighbours were extremely kind and helpful. Our only worry was the white walls and white linen with small children but we managed okay. The lovely owner Frances left toiletries in all the bathrooms, we will certainly visit again.

Heat house for a bog group

The house had everything we needed for our stay in London. The only issue we had is that the dryer did not work properly (it started normally and then it stopped). Location was good with access to bus and train routes.

Quarantining with Space

We stayed at St Leonards for 10 days - initially there were 6 of us and by the end 11. The house is very light with lots of windows. The Garden is great - there were comfortable chairs and a sofa right outside the kitchen which we used a lot, and a big dining table on the lawn. We were there during the heatwave so the garden was key. There is a nice conservatory, we moved around some more comfortable chairs to sit in there (a few more relaxing charis would be nice). The kitchen had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive to our questions. It was 30 mins to get into central London on the train or bus and that worked out well for us. A huge Tesco within walking distance. Great place for a group.

Perfect for our group of 11

This was the perfect spot for our group of 11 to stay while visiting London. It was a 5 minute walk to the bus and it dropped us off at the Tootingbeck tube station. From there it was about a 25 minute ride to central London. The townhome was clean, spacious, and a great place to relax and visit after a busy day. We walked to a grocery store to pick up a few things. About a 15 minute walk. The layout was perfect. Everyone had their own space. The backyard is so cute and we loved sitting outside. Frances was so sweet and accommodating. She let us drop off our bags earlier in the day before our check in time. We had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for a family or a larger group. Thank you so much for having us Frances.

Delightful home for a wonderful trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house for what was probably the best trip we have ever had. The temperature on one of the showers was impossible to alter, but Frances gave us warning and there were plenty of other bathroom and shower options. The location was perfect for accessing several different transit options, and we had a great time in London. Frances had the house decorated for Christmas, a lovely and unexpected touch that made our holiday all the merrier. She also made an extra trip to bring us additional towels, and we loved the family’s taste in books in the library. One note - if you are around for a holiday, take care to figure out which day is rubbish pickup (we didn’t expect them to come on Boxing Day, and accidentally missed it!) In any case, we were comfortable with plenty of space for our big family to spread out, and we hope to come back someday. Thank you so much, Frances!

Muy bien aunq tiene alguna mejora y hay que saber algunos detalles

El viaje ha estado fenomenal, esta casa está súper bien preparada para familias con niños, lo único que hay que saber es que tiene muchas escaleras y hay q tener cuidado con los niños. Pero esta súper completa, hay miles de juegos para niños, la cocina fenomenal super completa y las camas y las habitaciones estupendas. Solo tendría una pega y es que los baños no funcionaba del todo bien las duchas, sale poca agua y una no tenía ducha y otra estaba estropeada el agua fría con lo cual no podíamos usarla. La localización de la casa está muy bien aunque hay que saber que aunque la comunicación con Londres es muy buena y la parada de autobús está al lado de la casa, la zona no es muy buena, la calle de la casa está bien pero lo que es el pueblo donde están las tiendas en si es una zona un poco regular. Otra cosa positiva es que tiene wifi y l televisión netflix lo cual está muy bien!

Thank you for your review of our house and we are grateful for your comments. We apologise for the faulty shower in one bathroom of which we advised you on your arrival, and am very sorry if this caused inconvenience during your stay. The plumber was unable to fix this over Christmas, as your stay followed another guest directly. This has now been fully repaired. I am pleased you enjoyed the house and links to London, and sorry that you did not so much like Streatham, the closest shopping area that is busy and urban. There are also local shops / cafes across the park (Tooting Common) on Ritherdon Road, that may have suited you better. Streatham attracts lots of London families wanting a well served high street, with cinema, ice skating rink, swimming pool, one of the best Jazz clubs in London (The Hideaway), and an abundance of cafes, bars, restaurants and a 24 hour huge supermarket. We also have Tooting Bec Lido just across the road (for warmer months!). It sits between two large green open parks, Streatham Common and Tooting Common. There is a fabulous cafe at the very top of Streatham Common, The Rookery Cafe, and The Rookery, formally landscaped gardens. I shall make a list of places to visit and enjoy locally to enable new guests to the area. Thank you again for your helpful feedback. Frances

Great House - Great Location

Frances was great to deal with. Property was as described. We spent so much time touring the country that we mainly only used the home to sleep in and get ready. But it had plenty of room, kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed was there. We would stay here again no issues.

Great House!

We loved the house and the yard. It was clean, comfortable, and very charming. The appliances were great, and there was plenty of dish-ware and silverware for our group of 9. The refrigerator and laundry were a little small compared to US standards, but I was told that is common in Europe. Frances is super friendly and easy to work with. I was able to call her and get all of the information on checking in. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks Frances!

Family Trip to England

Property was the perfect place for a comfortable home base as we explored London and the surrounding area. There was plenty of space for our group of 8. Frances was an excellent host and we highly recommend this property!
