AtlanticWindow - Casa Moderna, Vistas impresionantes

La isla de Pico, y, en particular, Santo Amaro, además de la tierra de los abuelos, siempre ha sido el lugar de vacaciones de la familia. Aquí vamos creciendo, construimos barcos, aprender a nadar, pescar y vivir con la naturaleza.
El deseo de tener su propio espacio aquí, una casa donde pudieran visitar el pasado, el descanso y disfrutar de la ciudad desde la sala, todavía bien guardado y genuino, simplemente se materializó años más tarde. Las casas, construidas con líneas modernas, pero con el uso de la piedra de la zona, tanto fuera como dentro, están diseñados para aprovechar la gran ubicación.
El mar y la montaña de Pico, lugares vecinos, y en toda la isla de S. George, parte de la vista. En el exterior, se mantuvo la tradición de los muros de piedra con diferentes alturas y las rutas se adaptan a cualquier espacio.

The house was very comfortable for 4 adults and had everything needed for a great stay. The view is spectacular. Helena was very accommodating. I would recommend AtlanticWindow for anyone looking to stay on Pico for a few days.

We spent just under a week at the house and loved it. Having dinner on the patio with an amazing view and the warm setting sun was just so relaxing. It was a short walk down to the natural swimming pool - a great place to enjoy the afternoon after a hike. We would definitely recommend this house. Helena was wonderful and very kind to accommodate our delayed arrival.

We loved our stay and immediately fell in love with the house. It had all the amenities you would need and more and the views were absolutely astounding. It was definitely the best part of our stay while visiting the Azores.

Little piece of heaven on the water!

This house has the most beautiful views from EVERY room. You can also walk to one of the nicest restaurants on the island. It is a bit far from airport but the drive is breathtaking so it goes by in a snap.

The Perfect Place

We realy enjoyed the perfekt House and the Island of Pico. The House is great and we had everything we needed. The View is fantastic and it was very hard for us to leave.

A lovely home with a gorgeous view

We stayed for 3 weeks and absolutely loved the house, access to hiking, easy drive to other parts of the island, and a terrific swimming area very near by. The house is fully equipped, very clean, comfortable beds and good quality linens, towels etc. Being near the ocean and in a warm climate there were a number of spiders and other small insects as one might expect in that climate and with being a country home. Three weeks on Pico was a bit more than we needed as it is quite quiet but there was easy access by ferry to other island, which was great. All communications were easy and quick.

Perfection

What a great home! It has everything you could want and ask for while staying here. If you're unsure, just book. You won't regret it. The two sisters who own the property put so much love and care into this home. The real star is Helena, she also cares for the property. Helena was there after a tough travel schedule upon arrival, checked in throughout the stay, recommended great places and events taking place and during checkout to make sure we were happy with our stay. She is warm and absolutely lovely soul.We are already working to figure out our next dates to stay again.With love & light,Alejandra

Breathtaking view

What a beautiful property! Perfectly location for privacy and ultimate relaxation, and well located for day trips and restaurants. The house has huge doors/windows that open to the gorgeous ocean view and of Sao Jorges. Enchanting! We had a lovely time!

Fabulous view

This house is all about the beautiful views from every room! The ocean, garden, farmland and city light vistas are stunning. And then you get a great open kitchen, living and dining floor plan, plus three comfortable bedrooms. Just perfect! We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Morning rainbows

We had a wonderful week at this home and exploring Pico. The views are stunning and almost every morning there was a rainbow. Helena was very helpful with ideas of must sees and restaurants. All of which were great. It was nice to be able to walk to Magma restaurant when we were too tired from hiking to cook.

BREATHTAKING VIEW!!!

This house has the best views of any other house we found. We loved every second staying here. The house is extremely modern and comfortable. The bed is perfect along with the showers. It is in a great part of Pico and easy to get to from the airport. The grocery is 5 minutes away and has a good selection. We enjoyed exploring Pico very much.

Relaxing stay over the sea

We enjoyed our stay very much and had a very relaxing time on Pico Island. We were welcomed very friendly at this cozy and well equipped house. The view was unique and stunning. The house is in real life even better than on the photos. We had a great time. Thank you very much.

Home in paradise

The home was beautiful and comfortable for the four of us. You will need a car for your trip but exploring the island is well worth the expense!! Helena was absolutely amazing and accommodating with helping us get our luggage from the airport to the home and back again. We hope to get back sometime to check out the different seasons and take time to see the different islands as well.

Heaven on earth!!!

The property is absolutely lovely and well appointed. It is easy to cook because of the utensils and bowls, etc. The view from the kitchen makes cooking time a joy. The beds were comfortable, and the views as you wake up are amazing. We spent a week at the house as part of a month-long vacation. This was far and away the best location of our trip. We hope to come back in the future.

Absolutely great residence in a quiet environment

Great property with views that are simply incredible. A bit away from any shopping, so buy your groceries on the way in from the airport. A rental car is a must. Our hostess, Helena was wonderful and provided a list of wonderful restaurants and other items. The property was very clean, modern, and well equipped. We enjoyed our occasional conversations with the owners via WhatApp. Highly recommended to all visitors to Pico.

Best place to stay on Pico.

We have returned to the Atlantic Window for the second time. The view is outstanding and everything else about the house is wonderful. The kitchen is fully equipped and I did not miss a thing. The house provides plenty of space and the three bedrooms are beautiful and all have the wonderful view. Washing machine and dryer are convenient. Most of all the person maintaining the property is just wonderful. We felt well taken care of and appreciated all restaurant and other recommendations. We could not have been happier and look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful Inside and Out

We had three couples in our group and the house accommodated us well. The house was just as pictured, it was comfortable, very clean and had all that we would need while we were there. Maria was available to answer any questions we might have. The views from the house were spectacular, it was easy to relax on the back porch all day and into the evening. Inside, the house was decorated very smartly and provided a nice space to gather for a meal and conversation. I highly recommend the Atlantic Window!

Amazing!!

The views were absolutely amazing…Mt Pico in the distance, sunsets and beautiful views of the ocean. Walk down to the beach took us by beautiful flowers, adorable cows and the friendliest donkey. Beds were comfortable, showers great and a stocked kitchen. We loved the location. Helena…was amazing. She provided a warm smile upon arrival, invited us to the village festival and meal, educated us on history of the island and when we had to leave festival before they distributed the holy cakes, she had one waiting at the house for us. Pico is an amazing place and can’t recommend a visit more and do yourself a favor…stay in this beautiful house. We hope to return one day.

Too close to Heaven

Its an amazing house all around. Don't look any further. If i ever visit Pico again, I would stay at this house over and over again. There is a super cute restaurant 200 meters from the house. Very good food. Great atmosphere. Narural pool for swimming down the road. You can see it from the patio. But to get there , you have to drive down. The property is about 30 minites from the airport. Its just everything I could dream of and more. Thank you for letting us stay in this paradise. swimming down yhe road

Wonderful

The caretaker, Helena, was amazing. She was available to help us find the property, restaurants and even when we were lost (which was often). Doubt that any picture could show the actual beauty of the house or the view. I will forever miss cagarros doing their crazy song at night. The island was gorgeous and unique. There is not enough good I can say about our stay, except, I wish it had been longer. I will carry Pico, the cagarros and the caretaker forever in my heart.
