Orientación sur, gran exposición al sol, ideal para comer al aire libre.
cocina completa y amplias y confortables habitaciones, ambos con vistas al mar.
Cerca laguna natural piscina y playas (d`alto Pópulo y agua), supermercado y farmacia.
Ideal para parejas y familias.

nice accommodations

Good spot to be a short drive anywhere you want to go on the island. A beautiful island with lots of nature things to do. Diogo was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. He gave us great restaurant recommendations. Our favorite restaurant in Logoa was Borda d Água for the best fish dinner all week.

This is a perfect spot if you want to enjoy São Miguel Island in the Azores

You get this terrific sea view from the entire south side of the house. It's really roomy - two large bedrooms, large kitchen and long combined living room and dining room with an attached balcony. Lagoa is just 10 minutes from the bustle of Ponta Delgado, in a quite environment. Easy from there to get around the island. The street it is on is residential, but has small food stores nearby that are handy, and is walking distance to the restaurants, ocean and pool swimming, and other amenities, including a large supermarket. The house is well furnished, though nothing fancy. Sort of like a beach house. The kitchen is really well equipped. However, be sure to bring all comestibles you need - there were no basic food stocks (spices, salt, etc.) that some rentals offer. The owner was very conscientious about making sure we had no problems and everything we needed. Overall, it's a great value that's hard to find in this price range.

Wonderful host and amazing view!

We had a wonderful time in Lagoa (a small town about 10 minutes outside of Ponta Delgada). Diogo, our host, was incredibly thoughtful and generous. When we arrived, we found that he had provided delicious muffins unique to the area as well as fruit, milk and beer. On Saturdays there is fresh bread made locally and Diogo brought over a loaf so that we could have some. He also spent time with us going over a map of the area so that we could make the most of our four days in the Azores. Diogo checked in on us (WhatsApp) to be sure that everything was going well during our stay. He was a very attentive host and it was clear that he wanted us to enjoy our experience both in the house and on the island. The pictures of the Diogo's home don't give you a sense of how big this rental is. It has two big bedrooms (one has a full bed and a twin bed), a very large kitchen, a living room, dining room and bathroom. The house is really lovely and there are AMAZING views from the the back side of the home where there are two levels of decks. We sat for hours looking at the view of the ocean and of the little town. The kitchen was great because we were able to cook quite a few meals there and enjoy the view. There is some street noise at night/early morning and you can hear church bells at all hours (which we loved) so if you are a light sleeper I would recommend download a white noise app and you should be okay. We really loved our experience here and our two teenagers did as well. This was a great rental and it is central to all the amazing sites. I would absolutely recommend having a car on this island. Parking was never a problem and there was always an open space right in front of the house. Thanks for a wonderful stay Diogo! I hope we can come back some time soon!

Room(s) With a View !

When we set out to book a property, we felt that if we were in a place as scenic as the Azores, finding a place with a nice view would be one of our priorities. Sea Bay House has great views of the ocean from all the main living spaces ( as well as the terraces). You can hear the sound of the waves and the church bells nearby. Beautiful and relaxing ! The apartment is tastefully furnished with ample seating in living room and dining areas. No problems with TV or internet. There is a washer and dishwasher available, but there were two of us so we chose to hand wash the dishes and save the laundry for home. Plenty of hot water for showers ...no problem, there. With two bedrooms for just the two of us, the spare room became a dressing room for me that freed up space in the room we used. Parking was never an issue. We usually got a spot in front of our door or one or two spaces down. There are many spaces available. Some streets in Lagoa are tight, so we were glad we opted for a small car. Lagoa is centrally located for easy access to Ponta Delgada, Ribeira Grande and Populo, as well as to the highway to many other destinations. Lagoa has a large supermarket, many restaurants, ATMs, and a few gas stations. The newer section is pretty car-friendly. It has a number of charming villages a great waterfront access. Diogo was very easy to deal with. We communicated through What's App in arranging the rental and through our stay ( he was always available). He sent us directions in advance and met us when we arrived to orient us to the place and to answer questions. He gave us ideas/suggestions to guide us which were helpful. We would strongly recommend Sea Bay House. This is just the kind of place we like to rent and we found it waiting for us in the Azores!

Very pleasant stay at Sea Bay House in Lagoa, Sao Miguel

We had a very pleasant one-week stay at Sea Bay House. The apartment is centrally located, very comfortable, light and equipped with taste and care. We absolutely loved the fantastic view over the ocean, the sound of the waves and the two terrasses! We felt like home from the first minute. Sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine and the candles that were part of the equipment gave us the perfect holiday feeling. There was easy parking in front or very close to the house. The road was quiet at night so that it did not really matter that the bedrooms go to the road side. Diogo was away on work but very concerned about our well-being. We were in touch via WhatsApp and his lovely friend Sandra took excellent care of us. They gave us tips on restaurants and activities, etc. Thanks so much to both of you! We can fully recommend this beautiful place to everyone.

Ocean Views

Highly recommended accommodation in a central location for exploring the island. View and soundtrack of the ocean are the main feature of this property and the layout of the house is perfect for this. With enough patience and good binoculars you can eventually see dolphins in the bay, although there are better locations for this. The house is on a one-way street with occasional traffic, but we were never disturbed by traffic noise. There are parking spaces right outside that were always available. The house has a good range of equipment and seating options inside and out. Lagoa itself is more of a base for wider exploration, but we did walk to the square near the church a couple of times and the pool complex is of a high standard. There are small local shops within walking distance and a large supermarket within 5 minutes drive. Diogo is an excellent and attentive host, ably assisted by Sandra who gave us great tips on the best beaches and excursions. Would return.

Dream Vacation

The house has a beautiful view to the Atlantic and we really enjoyed the peace and the closeness to nature. It is very well decorated and clean. Diogo was very concerned about our wellbeing . Sandra is very nice and gave us good tips to explore the Island. A dream vacation !

Lagoa house

The property manager/owner (Diogo) is very pleasant, approachable and accommodating. Because this was our first time in Azores/Lagoa, we were not prepared for the bedrooms to be on street side of property, which could be somewhat noisy. The addition of a requested room fan helped to provide welcome white noise at night. Mornings were pleasant on deck overlooking cove. The kitchen is nicely appointed. Extra bedding, pillows and towels were also appreciated. There was plenty of room to relax in the location in less optimal moments or when we just felt like reading and hanging out. The location is quite central for touring, as we easily drove to all points of the island.

Sea Bay House Lagoa

Diogo has a beautiful home and the view of the ocean from the balcony is picture perfect. This location is convenient to all the gorgeous sights in Sao Miguel. There is a little market next door that sells fresh rolls every morning and you will delight in the sounds of the Azorean night birds every evening. Diego's hospitality was wonderful. He met us at the apt the first morning and provided us with helpful information to help us begin our adventure. This home was so comfortable and we loved waking up to the sounds of the ocean. You will probably need a GPS find this home and since it is on-street parking you'll need to rent a smaller car. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location with a view

Our April 2019 holiday was wonderful despite the cooler weather. Diogo’s house is convenient in the town of Lagoa. It has a great view of the ocean and walking around the small town is easy. Diogo was away with work but we were left in the very capable hands of his good friend Sandra. Our friendship now is lifelong. We did have some issues with the bathroom and kitchen sink drains but an email to Diogo brought a very quick response. He followed up with an email stating he was correcting the problem. We would recommend this home away property for your stay. Think the months of May, June,July, August and September would be the best times for your trip

Best Urban Stay On Sao Miguel

We spent two wonderful weeks at Sea Bay House. Relaxing and taking in the incredible view from the house is a pleasure in itself. The location couldn’t be better, with local grocery stores and great restaurants within walking distance, or a short drive away. The neighbourhood is very friendly and completely safe. Ponta Delgada and the airport are an easy 15 minute drive away. Everything was very clean and neat, and the kitchen is very well equipped with all the cooking utensils and dishes you could ever want. The owner was very attentive and easy going, helping us with the logistics of the local area and beyond, acquainting us with Azores wines and other foods, and suggesting restaurants and places to visit. We would highly recommend Sea Bay House for a short, or long stay. Thank you so much Diogo for lending us your lovely home, and showing us Sao Miguel through your eyes. Ray and Cela from Canada Passamos duas semanas maravilhosas no Sea Bay House. Relaxar e apreciar a incrível vista da casa é um prazer em si. A localização não poderia ser melhor, com mercearias locais e ótimos restaurantes a uma curta caminhada ou a uma curta distância de carro. O bairro é muito amigável e completamente seguro. ponta Delgada e o aeroporto ficam a 15 minutos de distância. Tudo estava limpo e arrumado, ea cozinha estava bem equipada com todos os utensílios de cozinha e pratos que você poderia querer. O proprietário foi muito atencioso e fácil, ajudando-nos com a logística da área local e além, familiarizar-nos com os vinhos e outros alimentos dos Açores, e sugerindo restaurantes e locais a visitar. Recomendamos altamente Sea Bay House para uma estadia curta ou longa. Muito obrigado Diogo por nos emprestar sua linda casa, e nos mostrar São Miguel através dos seus olhos.

Ruim vakantieverblijf met prachtig zicht!

Groot ruim vakantieverblijf met groot terras en prachtig zeezicht. De inrichting en meubilair zijn eigentijds en functioneel maar toch aan een opfrisbeurt toe. De bedden zijn écht aan vervanging toe: harde matras op een houten plank, dus geen verluchting. Het ene bed maakt een piepend lawaai als je gaat liggen. Vanwege het straatlawaai moeten de vensters en luiken s'nachts dicht. We hebben er écht niet goed geslapen.De temperatuur van het water in de douche is moeilijk te regelen. Toch een héél aangenaam verblijf gehad op de Azoren.

What a lovely home!

We spent one week in Diogo's home, last week of August 2018. The moment I walked into the terrace- I fell in love with the house. We had breakfast and some dinners on the terrace, overlooking the ocean and spying on the cows and fishermen-- all while enjoying the local cheeses, butter and delicious Portuguese bread -drinking locally grown tea. The location is excellent- very easy drive to Ponta Delgada- my husband drove to play tennis there few times- it is no more than 12 minutes of easy drive - no traffic, ever. The beds are fine, bedrooms are separate, living room has a dinning area with a nice table and chairr. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking. You don't need to buy salt or flour or even sugar, as Diogo has this nice tradition of a "Hunting house". Every guest leaves something for the next guest in the pantry..Therefore, the essentials are most likely already there. Diogo is the best host I have ever encountered in my travels. Very attentive, helpful and very friendly. He gave us good suggestions, of which we followed every single one and I have no regrets. Everything he suggested was a great trip/dining experience. I will come back next year, to spend another week in Lagoa. There is a business card of a fish restaurant on the side table in the hall- please go and eat at that place. That was by far the best restaurant in Lagoa if not the entire island for fish. We waited till the last night to go eat there and had I known it was going to be so delicious- I would have dined there every single night. Thank you, Diogo, for your hospitality..

Wonderful views and sounds of waves

Our family of 4 stayed here for 7 nights in June. We were all very happy, comfortable and relaxed staying at Sea Bay House and were all really pleased with our choice. We felt very much as though we were living with the locals. The views from the panoramic windows running along the house were wonderful and we sat outside enjoying breakfast every morning listening to the sounds of the waves and watching people snorkelling. In the evenings, we often choose to eat in, as the kitchen was supplied with everything you could need- a great supermarket 3 mins drive- and we enjoyed the views and watching the birds and the lights of the beautiful church. There was loads of storage space in both bedrooms. The little store 2 doors down was so friendly and we had our 8 rolls waiting for us every morning. Miss being there already. Sandra, who is Diogo's friend who welcomed us into the property, was so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. A great week in Sao Miguel.

La vue est très belle et donne sur la mer et la baie, à noter qu'il n'y a aucun accès à la mer.

La maison, qui est mitoyenne des 2 côtés est agréable mais assez négligée quant à la propreté, et le matériel laisse à désirer. ( surtout la literie qui se résume à un matelas très dur posé sur une plaque d' aggloméré; et à la cuisine les poèles usagées sont inutilisables). Le calme est peut-être OLYMPIEN, comme le dit une appréciation, mais ce doit être en hiver car lors de notre séjour en Juin, de nombreux chiens aboyaient et nous ont laissé peu de répit. Le pire pour une location de ce prix est qu'il n'y avait RIEN pour nous dépanner. Pas de sel, poivre, huile, sucre, etc... Nous n'avons jamais vu cela. La femme de ménage nous a accueillis et nous avons vu Diogo 10 mn au moment de partir prendre l'avion. Il est d'ailleurs très sympathique.

Clean, best view ever, neighbours friendly and helpful, excellent response from owner

Lagoa is a small town close to Ponta Delgada, very safe and easy to get to the north shore of the island, to Furnas or anywhere you want to go. This vacation rental is on the ocean and is clean and comfortable. Next door is grocery store that sells basic produce and great Portuguese wine! Go there for your coffee at 8 a.m and fresh bread arrives at 9. There was nothing better than sitting on deck/ balcony and watching and listening to the ocean waves roll in. The owner and a friend of his are so helpful, respond to enquiries immediately. We will definitely go back!

Mooi huis met uniek uitzicht

Het huis heeft alles wat een verblijf aangenaam maakt. Het uitzicht is fantastisch, je kunt de zee horen terwijl je binnen zit en natuurlijk helemaal als je op het mooie terras zit of ligt. Het huis ligt aan een redelijk drukke weg en in een levendige buurt, maar na 11 uur 's avonds het rustig. Omdat de slaapkamers aan de voorzijde liggen is mogelijk om goed te slapen. Een van de bedden ligt nogal hard, wat het slapen weer wat lastiger maakte. Het huis ligt op loopafstand van restaurants en de zeezwembaden van Lagoa, die heel mooi zijn. Diogo is een zeer attente gastheer die snel reageert op vragen en hij heeft gezorgd voor uitgebreide informatie over bezienswaardigheden op het eiland. Het is wel nodig om een auto te huren als je meer van het eiland wilt zien, maar met de auto is het ook mogelijk om binnen 10 minuten bij de stranden Praia di Populo te zijn. Het huis is een prima uitvalsbasis om volop te genieten van het eiland.

à louer en toute confiance

nous avons passé 6 jours dans la maison de Diogo elle est idéalement placée pour sillonner l' ile et à une vue saisissante - nous y avons trouvé tout le nécessaire pour le quotidien ... Diogo est un hôte attentionné qui nous à accueilli avec le sourire , en français et fourni tous les renseignements dont nous avions besoin pour passer un agréable séjour .... Merci à lui ....Mylène

Gemütliches Haus mit faszinierender Aussicht.

Wir hatten in dem gut ausgestatteten Haus einen sehr gemütlichen Urlaub. Wir haben es bei der Ankunft sauber und ordentlich vorgefunden und hatten noch ein nettes Gespräch mit dem Vermieter, der auch ansonsten zu jeder Zeit für Fragen erreichbar war. Das Haus liegt an einer lebendigen kleinen Straße, die nachts aber ruhig war. Das man tagsüber durchaus Straßengeräusche mitgekriegt hat (die Schlafzimmer gehen zur Straße) hat nicht geschadet, da wir, wenn wir zuhause waren, uns nur im Wohnbereich und auf den Terassen aufgehalten haben, von wo aus man einen grandiosen Ausblick auf den Atlantik und die unter einem liegende Küste hat. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fast nebenan waren zwar klein, der Supermarkt war aber sehr gut sortiert.

Great place to watch the ocean change moods

The house is in a quiet village with a great terrace to view the Santa Cruz church and bay. Lagoa is central, an easy place to take day trips from to all points on the island. Great collection of books on architecture to peruse, and to learn a bit about Portuguese architects, in downtime. Diogo and crew were excellent about checking in and getting me oriented. Parking was never an issue the week i stayed here. A car is recommended for seeing the island.
