Apartamento en el centro de Reikiavik

## Espacio

Nuestro apartamento es de 96m2 con cocina, baño, dos dormitorios y dos salas de estar. Todo el apartamento ha sido recientemente renovado. Un dormitorio tiene cama king size y el otro dormitorio tiene 3 camas individuales (90cm). No hay problema para agregar dos habitaciones individuales juntas como una cama de 180 cm. En la sala de estar tenemos un sofá cama, por lo que es el lugar perfecto para una gran familia o dos familias que viajan a Islandia.
En el salón tenemos televisor de alta definición con más de 50 estaciones de televisión, Playstation 3 con algunos juegos para jugar o ver DVD / Blueray. El apartamento ha Internet de alta velocidad, tanto wifi y también tapones de Internet en todas las habitaciones. En la cocina hay una pequeña mesa con 3 sillas y en la sala de estar hay una gran mesa con 6 sillas. Sillas y espacio para los bebés se pueden suministrar si es necesario. El baño tiene una buena ducha. Aparcamiento privado fuera está incluido.

Nuestra cocina cuenta con todos los equipos estándar, incluyendo refrigerador (por supuesto), microondas, horno, platos, etc. y cafetera Dolce Gusto con diferentes sabores de café, té y coca.

En el baño encontrará toallas limpias, jabón y papel higiénico.

## Interacción

Podemos ser muy flexibles con nuestros huéspedes, podemos organizar la recogida y llevarlo al apartamento, recomendar buenos restaurantes, etc.

## Barrio

Nuestro apartamento se encuentra en una calle tranquila del centro de Reikiavik, pero todas las actividades recreativas y de entretenimiento que Reikiavik tiene para ofrecer están a poca distancia. Si te gusta correr o andar en bicicleta, hay muchos caminos agradables.

## Tránsito

Nuestro apartamento está muy cerca de BSI, la estación principal de autobuses que te lleva al aeropuerto en Keflavik y otros recorridos en autobús como Blue Lagoon, Geysir, etc. Todos los restaurantes, museos, tiendas, etc están a poca distancia y el puerto de Reykjavik y la observación de ballenas es dentro de 1 milla de la vivienda. También puede alquilar bicicletas cerca del apartamento.

We had a wonderful time at this apartment. The place has a great location. Walking distance to shops, sites and restaurants. We needed to talk with the owner who was very quick to respond and friendly!

Great location with off street parking

Lovely 2 bedroom apartment in a quiet neighborhood very close to everything. Unit has off street parking and a washer dryer combo unit in the bathroom. Full kitchen, dining room and living room plus two full bedrooms make this a flexible and easy place to set as a home. Base for exploring Iceland.

Terrific apartment, great location, wonderful host

Four of us (all over 50) spent a wonderful 3 nights at this apartment a few blocks away from downtown Reykjavik. Kjartan was so helpful in answering all of my questions before arrival. He picked us up at the airport and then even gave us a short tour of the city before dropping us at the house. We found the home to be very clean, quiet and in a perfect location for us to explore the town and the country. We all hope to return again in the future and we will absolutely stay in the same house. Thank you again Kjartan and congrats to the Icelanders on a terrific run in the Euros!

This was the best vacation!

Out family of 6 had plenty of room. The location of the flat was wonderful-so close to everything in town. We love Reykjavik! It's so cute & walkable. The people are really friendly & conveniently nearly everyone speaks English. We rented a car & did the Golden Circle. What an amazing country!! I am stunned by how beautiful everything is. And every night we came back to the flat where we had plenty of hot water & comfy beds. Kjartan was so helpful, picking us up at the airport & taking us back, giving us tips on where to eat & what to see. We are definitely coming back!

Great apartment in a perfect location

Two friends and I just spent a week at the apartment and it couldn't have worked out better. Kjartan picked us up at the airport. Even though it was midnight he oriented us to the neighborhood so we would be ready to go the next morning. The apartment was close to the Hallgrimskirkja Church and the center of Old Reykjavik, making it convenient to walk everywhere. The accommodations were modern, clean and comfortable. Kjartan was responsive to any questions we had, before and during our stay, and the apartment had lots of travel information to use as reference. I highly recommend this Homeaway rental.

Amazing flat for a family in ideal location

We recently took a family trip to Iceland with my 2 boys (age 6 and 7) and my in-laws. We stayed at this perfect flat which provided many of the conveniences to keep 3 generations of travelers happy. The adults often hung out in the living area and watched through the big windows into the backyard as the boys played soccer. We walked everywhere and loved how our quiet side street was still in the heart of all the attractions. The kitchen was beautifully stocked and we had breakfast there very morning as well as a few lunches and dinners. It had everything you could ask for -- comfy beds, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms, tasteful decor, satellite TV, free wifi, easy parking in driveway, and laundry! Kjartan was great to work with - he met us at the flat for our early morning flight and had even stocked the fridge for a quick breakfast. You should definitely stay here!!! We will be going back ourselves and will stay again -- I just hope it's available because anything else would be a let down.

Excellent location - close to everything in old town Reykjavik

More than likely, you'll be renting a car to explore Iceland, BUT if you stay in or near old town Reykjavik for a few days, then this apartment is "situationally" spot-on. The apartment is located on a one-way street in a neighborhood of family homes and small apartments. It's so close to the Hallgrimskirkja that you can hear the bells ringing (no worries, though, the windows in the apartment are windproof, coldproof, rainproof and soundproof!). What I appreciated the most about the apartment is that it is exactly as described on this website. We were a group of 5 female family members and we each had a comfy, warm bed to lay our heads down (we did double up on the queen bed and king bed), had plenty of space to unwind at the end of a busy sightseeing day and enjoyed the amenities the apartment and our host, Kjartan, had to offer. We aren't able to provide much information about the kitchen since we ate all of our meals at the fantastic restaurants in old town (you have got to go to Braud & Co, for breakfast!!), but when we were looking for a knife to cut a cinnamon roll in half, the drawers were filled with every imaginable utensil you would ever need! We definitely appreciated the parking spot in front of the garage behind the apartment - at night, when the neighbors came home from work, so many of them parked in the street, which would have made it a challenge if we didn't have the parking behind the apartment. We highly recommend this apartment and Kjartan!

Perfect, spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood of downtown Reykjavik!

Loved our stay in this exceptional apartment! Hope we are lucky enough to stay here again! This place is in a quiet, delightful neighborhood. It's tastefully decorated with plenty of room to stretch out and feel "at home" after a day of exploring Reykjavik and beyond. The modern kitchen was well supplied with dishes, utensils and cooking gadgets, though we ate our dinners out at the many restaurants within easy walking distance. There is also a little convenience shop within walking distance for some foods and essential items. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we all slept so well! All the windows have room-darkening shades and there is plenty of closet space. The bathroom has a pedestal shower in it that worked really well. No drainage issues, plenty of hot water (being Iceland, of course) and you can control the intensity of the shower spray. Kjartan kindly left a brand new hairdryer at our doorstep when we discovered the apartment was missing one. :) There is a clothes washer located in the bathroom. A Hotpoint Ariston AQD1171D 69ID. Download instructions for use. Helpful hint for fully flushing the toilet: Pump the handle completely, but quickly, 3 to 4 times when wanting to flush the toilet. Nothing wrong with the toilet itself, it just seemed to be a learning process for us! Ha ha! Really appreciated the driveway for off-street parking! Kjartan- thank you for your assistance with this rental and for maintaining such a lovely apartment!!

Lovely apartment, great location

This apartment is located steps from Hallgrímskirkja and a short walk to restaurants, shopping and downtown attractions. The apartment is lovely, spacious with lots of windows, a full kitchen (including coffee!) and comfortable beds. Washing machine includes dryer option but there is also a large drying rack, as well as iron and ironing board. Kjarten kindly met us at the apartment to give us the keys and show us around. Exceeded expectations! We would happily stay here again on our next trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Amazing location, great clean place and very nice host who made reservations at a local discount. I’ll nlynissue we had was that the toilet handle was broken, but we made it work. Kitchen was super small but we’ll appointed.

This property was exactly what we needed for our trip to Iceland. It was very spacious and clean and walking distance to al of the sites we wanted to see in the city. We had rented a car and had no trouble with parking at the property. The neighborhood was quiet and safe.

Great Experience

We stayed at this apartment for 3 nights and it was a great experience. The apartment was spacious, clean, bright and a great spot to hang out after our adventures in Iceland. The bedrooms and beds were great and we all had great sleeps. The location is excellent as the immediate area is quiet but it is only a short walk to the central area with all the tourist sights and restaurants.

Just Perfect!

We loved this apartment! It was nice and clean, exactly as pictured! Convenient location, just 2 blocks to the Church and beginning of town. Bus stop #8 was located at the Church, very convenient for tour pick-ups. Kjartan responded quickly to our emails and suggested a great restaurant stop for us along our Golden Circle trip. Would definitely book again if and when we return!

A lovely start to our vacation

Accommodating host; convenient, pretty location and thoughtful, charming decor. Comfortable beds and bedclothes, street and drive parking and WASHER AND DRYER! These are at a premium in Reykjavik. (They also work a bit differently from those in the US, especially the dryer, which, in this case, collects excess water and must be emptied rather than just venting damp air outside.) As of this writing, there are no dedicated self-serve laundromats in Reykjavik. There are four washers and dryers at the Laundromat Cafe downtown and some at the City Hostel. The only caveat is that, at the time of this writing, it seemed clear that the apartment below had a smoker in it, and we are non-smokers. The entry smelled like cigarettes, as did the laundry room. The odor did not seem to permeate either this apartment or our laundry, though, so it ended up not mattering much at all.

Lovely in central location

This is a large apartment very close to the city center. It has everything you would need and was spotless when we arrived. Kjartan is very responsive with questions and will take you to and from the airport for a competitive fee.

perfect apartment in perfect Reykjavik location

Very comfortable apartment. Lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. Apartment is located in the downtown center of Reykjavik, along side a tall church, impossible to get lost! Kjartan is a great host and is very helpful, knows the city well. We would stay here again.
