Denis the owner was very welcoming and friendly. The place was spotless and 4 minute walk to Pile Gate and 3 minutes to buses. Two small grocery stores across the street but if you hop on a bus to town there are many more options. The apartment is inside a 150 year old monastery and is peaceful and quiet away from the busy Old Town. Through a small gate is a beach 1 minute away which was lovely to sit at and enjoy or take a swim. There is a flight of stairs from the main door entering the property but they are manageable compared to the ones in Old Town. Once through the courtyard it is flat. The local bus service is great right outside and we took the local buses all around to explore. Loved our stay and would recommend to others.

Comfortable apartment by a lovely beach

We all enjoyed staying in this apartment, which made a great base for exploring Dubrovnik. The old town is a short walk away and a lovely beach the other side of the garden wall.

Close to everything, very quiet, loved it

The location was perfect to visit Old Town Dubrovnik. Very clean and well appointed. The laundry was a welcome addition as we had been on the road for awhile. Out the back gate and a few steps away was a small beach that also had 2 bars/cafes where you could great your morning coffee or your evening night cap. If you want to make your own meals there are several small groceries nearby for your convenience. Denis was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had.

Incredible Apartment!!!

This was a beautiful apartment and just as described. Walkable to Old Town and lots of shops and restaurants. The outdoor courtyard is beautiful and "green door" leads right to the beach. We loved our stay there and would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Stay in Dubrovnik

The apartment was very clean and included everything needed for your stay. Pleasant garden area, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Laundry was nice to have and the air conditioner worked great! Property manager was always available to answer questions and helped to provide us with transportation to and from apartment. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great location

The location was excellent. I had a conference at RIT Croatia and I couldn't have been closer. It was also very easy to get to the old town and there were were multiple ways of doing that so you didn't have to walk the busy street. The apartment was quiet and there was basically a private entrance to a nearby beach. Hosts were nice.

Close enough yet a quiet oasis from the madness

We found this little apt. To be in a fantastic location and very clean. Large bedrooms, small common space but lovely outside area which was very useful. Best thing was closeness to the beach out the back gate. Beautiful swimming area steps away. Very easy to communicate with the owners and easy to find.

Loved the apartment and everything worked well! The location was perfect- just a 5 minute walk to the main gate. Market and restaurants in easy walking distance. Be sure to go through the green door to a great beach and bar.

This apartment had everything we needed, nicely decorated, modern and clean. Beds and bedding were comfortable. 4 day break in Dubrovnik

Stayed at the apt for 4 days. It was very near to the old walled city but hidden away down a lane and in a very private, quiet courtyard. The apt was very clean and had everything you could possibly need for a holiday. The access out the “back” gate directly onto a small pier, beach and cafes was amazing. The hosts arranged airport transfers which was idea as it would have been nigh impossible to find on our own. This was our first time in Dubrovnik and it did not disappoint, it is simply beautiful. We found the restaurant / bar staff very polite and helpful but others eg, shopkeepers, bus kiosk staff, pier staff rather abrupt.

Clean , comfortable Partment in perfect location

We were met at the entrance by Denis the owner who helped with our bags. We were surprised to find the 2 bedrooms were quite large. Everything is clean, efficient and very pleasant. We were 5 minutes from everything. Old town , restaurants and transportation is right there. The apartment is quiet all night. There are only a few steps to the apartment so no lugging suitcases up stairs. I would definitely recommend staying here as opposed to the old town.

Dubrovnik 11 night break

Perfect location situated just outside the main city walls with a 5 minute walk into the centre and two minute walk to the pebble beach with its two beach bars. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything you might require including cooking facilities, microwave, laundry, refrigeration, hair dryer, wall safe etc. The Lounge/dining area might be a little cramped for two couples but ok for a family as both bedrooms were quite spacious and there is the added bonus of extra space in the courtyard outside. The owner took time out to welcome us and helped carry our bags to the property He also made arrangements for storing our cases at the end of our holiday after our check out time as we had a late return flight and overall was the perfect host. Personally we felt we had exhausted Dubrovnik after a week but the extra time allowed us the opportunity to visit neighbouring countries and overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone.

Great location, comfortable place

This place was great for our needs - a family of three, staying in Dubrovnik for two weeks. The location of the rental is truly amazing, and is what made it 5 stars for us. "50 meters from beach" is no exaggeration - head out the back door of the garden courtyard, and you're literally 10 steps from stairs down to a beautiful little beach cove, quiet water and kid friendly, with a great little cafe (the one with the brown bamboo roof is better), and some shade to be had for most of the day. The garden courtyard is also really nice, to have some peaceful outdoor space away from the tourist crowds (and our daughter loved the pet birds and rabbits). This spot is only a 2-3 minute walk from Pile Gate in old town; a little Konzum grocery store and a DM drug store are even closer, as is a bakery and a little sandwich shop. Explore the back streets that lead to and from old town from this rental - they're much more pleasant to walk than the packed boulevard leading into Pile Gate. The rental itself is not palatial, but totally adequate and very well kept up. The two bedrooms are quite ample by European standards. A small front room serves as kitchen, with a small table and a tiny couch. Everything is clean, and Dennis and Lidia were wonderfully friendly and helpful. We would come here again! You'll be hard pressed to find such a great setup elsewhere.

Great apartment really close to the old town

Just got back from a 7 night break staying in the Ragusa. It's a really well equipped apartment with everything you require for your stay. It's literally only 5 minutes from the Old City gates,but in a quiet area so you sleep soundly at night. Denis the owner was very helpful when we arrived, and always just a phone call away if we needed anything or advice. I would definitely stay here again, and won't hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

Clean and cozy holiday apartment, great location

We stayed here with my husband and 2-year-old son in July 2016. The location was great for a stay in Dubrovnik: very close to old town walls, many restaurants and shops nearby + close to small beach too. Our apartment with 2 bedrooms was clean and comfortable, and AC was working well. (Very important in the heat!) The bedrooms and combined small kitchen/living room were quite small, but spacious enough for us. Kitchen had everything we needed for making breakfast and eating snacks. We ate at restaurants every day, so we did not need to cook bigger meals at the apartment. But it had everything for cooking too. The courtyard was great especially for our kid. It was nice to sit there in the evenings. The apartment was surprisingly quiet even though it was so close to the restaurant area near the city walls. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great location near everything with clean rooms. And the service of the owner/house manager was excellent too! We had ordered a car to pick us up from the airport and it worked well.
