Esta maravillosa casa se encuentra en la planta superior de la "Pensión 61" zona de paso para los viajeros y artistas del siglo XIX.
Situado en "Punta Reginella", el lugar donde se puede disfrutar de la vista más hermosa de Positano, se ve a la izquierda en la playa Grande "encantamiento" ya la derecha en la bahía con la Torre de Fornillo Clavel y en el fondo de la isla de Li Galli residencia de L. Massine y Rudolph Nureyv.
Desde la terraza de la casa, como en un barco es su proa, se puede apreciar la vista del amanecer y, en unos pocos lugares en el mundo, y cuando se pone el sol, el paisaje adquiere los colores de rosa / lila y que en Positano llegar a tonos celestes.
La casa consta de cuatro habitaciones panorámicas con baño privado, conservan la antigua distribución de la junta de edad, que los propietarios han querido mantener intacta.
Todos se enfrentan la misma magnífica vista, incluyendo la cocina y el cuarto de baño para invitados. An absolute 10/10! From the moment I began inquiring about the house to our last day at Casa dell’Uovo, Roberto and his team made every effort to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our host Roberto was very responsive and thorough in answering all my questions, Georgia was very welcoming during check-in, and the most charming Clementina kept the house clean and tidy during our 10 day holiday. We also made arrangements for Clementina to prepare several dinners for us. By far, the meals she made were the best we had in Positano. It is an experience not to be missed.With 8 adults in our group, Casa dell’Uovo was not only comfortable and lovely but had great amenities (washer, dryer, ice maker, etc.) that made our stay even more pleasurable. The balcony was our favorite part of the house, where we spent many hours together taking in the beautiful ocean view, and where I witnessed the magnificent sunrise every morning.Our experience at Casa dell’Uovo - the house, hospitality, and location - was absolutely amazing. Bravo Roberto, Georgia and Clementina! I hope to return soon.

Stunning apartment with fabulous location. our favorite activity was watching the moonrise and sparkle across the Sea from the Terrace. Four bedrooms with en suite bathroom was perfect for my family with three adult children. Wonderful housekeeper, Clementina, who cooked my family a delicious dinner one evening. Roberto is a most gracious host Potano as always 10 out of 10.!

The most amazing Villa!

This property is amazing! Our family really enjoyed staying in this villa for an extended period of time. Every space around the house is comfortable and was designed with a lot of love. There are views in every room, even some of the bathrooms. The bedrooms are fully stocked, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is a dream, everything you need is there. The living space is large and comfortable and the balcony/terrace is simply amazing with incredible views of all of Positano. Location was perfect and central, near the main road, not too many steps to get to the house. Closer to the base so easier access to the beaches (steps are inevitable in Positano). The details and amenity one would want has been thought of, even those amenities you wouldn’t expect to have in Italy: washer and dryer, ice machine etc! The AC worked great! The house was always cool, we were very comfortable day and night with the temperature.Roberto the owner was very responsive and accommodating during the planning process. When we arrived Giorgia was very helpful and met us at the house to greet us, she was great. The house comes with daily housekeeping services, making this vacation a truly relaxing experience. Clementina was so lovely, meeting her made our experience even better as we had an opportunity to get to know her and chat with her. This villa is truly a gem! I am so happy I had an opportunity to experience it.

We LOVED our stay at this beautiful home. It was quiet, cozy and cool during a heat wave. The balcony views are stunning. On our last night we watched the full moon rise and each morning we took note of the new yachts visiting the harbor. The kitchen had everything we needed and the added luxury of having Clementina clean during our stay was amazing. Not to mention the wonderful 4 course meal that she prepared for us one night! Just over 300 steps up from the beach was a workout but by day 3 it’s easy. Positano is pure magic and we can’t wait to return and book Casa dell’Uovo again!

Perfecto.

This house, the view, and the spaces are all amazing. We were very comfortable the entire time. The daily maid is a nice touch, Clementina is very helpful and reminds you that you are on holiday.Air conditioning works great even in the really hot days we had. The 318 stairs down to the beach are charming on the way down and a challenge on the way up, but the view is worth it.

Amazing house in the heart of Positano! We would highly recommend this beautiful house for anyone looking to stay in the area with a larger group. There were 8 of us total and this house was perfect. One of the 4 rooms was on the main floor where the entrance is located, then up the flight of stairs is the main level where 3 rooms, kitchen, living room and amazing patio are located. All rooms have their own bathroom and double beds. Our girls loved the “princess” room with the netting. We loved that the balconies all opened and each room as well as the main portions of the house all have air conditioning (rare find in Europe when usually you’re lucky to find ac in the bedroom). The kitchen is very nice with wash and a separate dryer, an American coffee maker and even a counter top ice machine and separate freezer! The ice maker was super helpful given how hot it was during our stay. Definitely have Clementina cook for you one evening… a highlight of our trip! We loved spending the evenings before dinner enjoying happy hour on the patio. The views are awesome and it’s rather quiet - you can hear the water lapping the shore in the morning down below. Of course being in Positano there are stairs to access the entrance (down 40 stairs down from the main road and then a path and 7-10 more steps down to the entrance… then a flight upstairs to the main level of the house). The house manager was great also helping to answer questions and met us on arrival. Thank you for your home!

Beautiful Place in Positano

I stayed here for a girls trip for my birthday with several friends, and it was absolutely incredible. You must plan an evening for dinner with Clementina she is the best! Would definitely recommend

Everything we Expected and More

From booking many months ago to our last night’s dinner with Clementina everything was perfect. We traveled with our three kids and their significant others. Everyone had their own private room and private bathroom - very nice. Roberto (owner) was extremely helpful with our questions and set up most of our travel from/to the airport, to excursions, etc. Most people talk about the dinner that Clementina cooks for them, so we chose that option as well - delicious!! However, we also had a cooking class with her (her helper and daughter for translation) and that was so much fun and delicious as well. The house was always spotless when we returned after Clementina cleaned. My family of 8 would go back tomorrow if we could!! Thanks for making it a trip of a lifetime. Jeff/Mary & Family

Fantastic Large Villa in Positano

Our group of 8 - four couples - had an amazing stay at this villa. The home itself is everything you need for a comfortable stay in Positano. The views, accommodations, large bedrooms with en suite bath, full kitchen, balcony overlooking the sea, locations matches the listing and exceeded our expectations. The villa is 50 steps and a small walk from Cafe Positano. You can take this road and walk 15 minutes to the heart of shopping and beach. Or you can take 300 stairs down in 5 minutes to the same area. Very convenient. What makes this villa stand out are the friendly hosts. Roberto and Lucia were very responsive. They helped with many arrival questions including booking transportation to and from Naples Airport. Giorgia greeted us upon arrival to walk us to the home and tour every part of the home making arrival so easy. Clementina is the heart of this villa as the housekeeper. She is warm and friendly. She is your Italian Mom during your stay. You must spend an evening with her and Pina for a home cooked, four course authentic Italian family dinner. This meal was the best food during our stay. We will not forget this experience. You will not regret staying at this home.

Wonderful!

Everything was perfect from communication, assistance with transfers, check in process, and cleanliness. The property itself was absolutely gorgeous with plenty of space for our whole family and the most breathtaking views. There was a close path to the beach and it was near great restaurants. We loved it all and ended the trip with a most delicious meal (maybe the best of our trip) made and served by the wonderful Clementina and Pina. I hope we can return some day! Positano Casa dell'Uovo

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Roberto's beautiful Casa dell'Uovo. The home was well described and lovely. Clementina, the housekeeper was so friendly. We had her cook for us one night and it was our favorite meal in Italy. She was very responsive to any needs we had during our stay and did a great job keeping the home clean and beautiful. Roberto was so prompt with getting back to me with any questions I had and we could tell he put a lot of love and pride into this home. The location was great with easy access to the ferry boats which we hopped on to take us all over the region. We also used public buses, very clean, though could be crowded and private drivers if the ferry happened to be closed due to weather. This happened only once to us on a return from Amalfi. If you can do steps, you must do Path of the gods as there are many hikes and it is just beautiful.If I ever come back to Positano, I would definitely want to stay at the lovely Casa dell'Uovo. Thank you Roberto and Clementina!

Beautiful property with excellent view

A perfect location for 4 couples. Each bedroom has en-suite bathroom. The villa is beautiful with art and design features filling every room. We hired our kind and helpful housekeeper Clementina to prepare a meal for us one evening and it was a delicious and fun event. We spent so much time out on the covered patio overlooking Positano and the sea. It was comfortable for 8 people. Roberto was very helpful prior to our visit and even arranged our transfer vehicle from Rome and recommended a fun private boat tour around Capri. We swam and enjoyed the beach every day. There are many, many steps to take in Positano but our location was perfectly situated near everything.

Beautiful home with lovely views

This home was an excellent choice for our family trip to Positano. Every couple had their own bedroom and bath. The outside space was a favorite for everyone although not rainproof. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed and we often cooked dinner in it. We hired Clementine and Pina to cook for us one evening and it was superb! They are both lovely and it was a fun and delicious meal. Some suggestions- all of the beds could use a mattress topper, the split system in one of the bedrooms needs to be cleaned and/or repaired, if you have a lot of heavy luggage, consider hiring porters, in the description of the property it indicates that the house will be cleaned daily but this only happened 3 days out of 6. This was a problem for the trash because we had no place to take it and with 8 people and a toddler it started to smell.

Couples Trip to Italy

You can't beat this home / location! Moreover, Roberto was fantastic to work with as he helped with logistics and excursions. You can't go wrong booking this home. The views are unmatched. The home is large, well appointed, clean, and made for a wonderful vacation with friends.

Perfection!

We can not say enough good things about Casa Del’Uovo! The villa is beautiful. Spacious and comfortable for our group of 6.l with room to spare. The terrace with its fantastic view was our absolute favorite place to sit and drink wine in the evening. The check in process was excellent- Georiga met us nearby and walked us right to the house. Roberto was always very responsive whenever we asked him questions. Do yourself a favor and book a dinner with the housekeeper Clementina. The meal we had by her was the best meal we had in Positano! I hope to be back here again!

A magical week in Positano

This beautiful well appointed property was amazing...location...amenities..friendliness and help from the entire staff! We were greeted by Georgio and she checked us in and explained everything we needed to know. All was arranged for us for us including transportation and porters. Roberto,the owner, was so responsive to my every question and made this experience beautiful. We cannot thank him enough. Luisa impressed us with all of her expertise and help.She stayed in contact before during and even after our stay. she was wonderful! Clementino...a wonderful lady and a magnificent cook!! We loved the dinner she prepared for us...one of the best Italian dinners I have ever had! The location was perfect...close to everything yet private and quiet with gorgeous views. We would definitely return to this beautiful casa.

Great Stay in Positano

Roberto’s place is advertised accurately. Lots of space, comfortable beds, place was very clean. Giorgia was very helpful with check in and Clementina was great keeping everything clean and prepared an absolutely delicious meal for us our last night. If you’ve never been to Positano there’s no avoiding the steps. I recommend you use the porter service and be prepared to climb stairs wherever you go.

Dream Villa

This was a dream stay in Positano!!! The check in process with parking and porters for the luggage was amazing. The villa is huge and breathtaking. The pictures don’t do it justice! Clementine comes to clean daily and is such fun! She also cooks the best meals you will ever have! Roberto was fantastic with communication!! So glad to have found his villa!!

Magnificent villa in Positano

The villa was first class. The decorations were extraordinary and the villa is spacious. There are beautiful views from every room in the villa. It’s a 10 minute walk to the heart of the town and 12 minutes to the beach. We took the took the recommendation of some of the reviewers and asked Clementina to make us dinner. Dinner was delicious and she’s a fabulous lady. We loved our stay and highly recommend this villa!

The dinner was simply amazing. Great communication with the owner Roberto and smooth pick up from the port by Georgia. Place created by visionary artist who transferred us back to the glamorous time of this iconic town.

We had a great week at the Villa. Dinner in was great. Views from Villa are great and we had a choice of restaurants close by.

EXCEEDED ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS

Our stay was exceptional from booking until beyond checkout. Roberto is extremely responsive and assisted in our transportation and activity needs. The home was perfect for 4 couples, with each room equally as wonderful as the others. The location and view from the terrace was likely in the top 1% in Positano. Clementina who would come in and take care of the home did a private cooking for us with her beautiful friend Pina. The meal was our BEST meal in all of Europe and what a wonderful delight they both were. It was like we were sitting in their home. After we checked out and moved on to Zermett, my husband realized he left his insulin pumps in Positano. Roberto and Clementina were at our beck and call to rectify the situation. We couldn’t be more grateful or satisfied with the whole experience. Grazie ROBERTO AND CLEMENTINA!
