    A home from home in beautiful surroundings

    We have been returning to Flowery Dell now for approx twenty years so they are definitely doing something right! We love the location and the woodland and fields for our little dog to exercise in. The lodges are comfortable, clean and spacious and every little thing is thought about with care, even a Xmas tree to greet us this time! The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive and it's our go to for relaxation and destress.

    Lovely Lodge in great location

    We have stayed at Flowery Dells a number of times over the years and its a beautiful location. Lodges are lovely inside and hot tub added bonus. Perfect for dogs as well with plenty of walks.

    Lovely trip to flowery dell

    We stayed in Willow with our little dog, the lodge has everything you need and more and the hot tub was perfect for a post- dog walk relaxation. Such a lovely trip and we would definitely look at coming back in the future.

    Rest and relaxation at it's finest!

    Flowery Dell is definitely our go to place for a relaxing, restful holiday. The lodge has absolutely everything you'd need and our little dog loves to lie on the veranda watching the wildlife, especially the rabbits! The weather was glorious and we came home feeling relaxed and revived. Flowery Dell is situated in beautiful countryside and surrounded by fields and woodland making it the ideal holiday and we can't wait to come back in September!

    Fabulous place

    We had a fabulous time at Flowery Dell. Lodge was spotlessly clean with everything we could possibly need and in a perfect peaceful location. An especially nice touch was that our two dogs got a welcome pack each. Other places we’ve stayed they get one to share. We loved it and the surrounding area so much that we have already booked to come back. We have also recommended it to our parents who have booked a stay for august.

    Birthday treat

    This is the second time we have stayed at Flowery Dell and I chose this for my 60th birthday week. Everything was superb and the little treats the staff left in the lodge made it so special. Will definitely be returning for a 3rd time later this year .

    Perfect for a relaxing weekend

    On arrival we were welcomed warmly and were immediately trained by Pip the dog to play fetch. The lodge was surrounding area was spotless, and the view beautiful. Loved watching the rabbits, squirrels and even a fox. Everything was provided in the lodge. We had an Asda order delivered to the door an hour after arrival which saved us having to pack food. Well we're in Willow which was very private and not overlooked at all. The big question is would we return?...... absolutely!

    A much needed break

    After working 10hour days for a long time, we were due a break and relaxing. My wife had been down to your cabins for a 5 day break with family. So we asked if I could come down and join my wife for a much needed break. We managed to book another two days at a very good price. The cabins are fantastic they have everything you could think of and a lovely hot tub. There are plenty things nearby to do. If you need to recharge your batteries we definitely suggest you go here you won’t be disappointed.

    Wonderful stay

    We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Willow lodge. What a location! It was a lovely relaxing weekend to celebrate a very special 40th. Thank you so much for the wine and Yorkshire box of treats, it was very kind. Highly recommend, we will come again!

    Fabulous Relaxing Stay

    Have been many times now to Flowery Dell and never tire of returning. Such a lovely place to stay and the staff are all so welcoming and accommodating always helping in whatever way they can to make your stay fantastic. We take my daughters dogs and even they know their way around the site now. They love playing on the large field which is brilliant for them and the woodland walk too. Lovely walk down into Richmond for food and drink where everyone is welcome ( especially the dogs) and a spot of shopping too. Well done to all concerned and look forward to my next visit.

    January Treat

    A very comfortable lodge with everything we needed for a relaxing break. Love being in the hot tub watching the rabbits and listening to the owls under a very starry sky ( not all at the same time!) A good central location for exploring the locality. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back 2026 will be our 7th year.

    Wonderful Stay

    Booked last minute for an overnight stay with my husband and son. Beautiful and peaceful location. Lodge perfect with every home comfort you need. Hot tub warm and relaxing. My 16 year old son was impressed with the selection of TV channels! I loved my little Yorkshire hamper! Already plan to return, perhaps for a longer stay.

    Perfection!

    Couldn’t fault it! There is absolutely everything you need in the lodges. There was a lovely welcome pack for us and also one for our dog. Clear to see the lodge is maintained to a very high standard and it was absolutely spotless! The hot tubs are amazing and checked twice a day. Not only are the lodges clean with every attention to detail, the whole area is. Flowery Dell is the perfect place to relax and is only a stone’s throw away from lovely Richmond. Needless to say we will be back!

    The Best

    This is our 2nd time staying at flowery dell and will forever now refer to it as “our happy place”. We stayed at the Whitbeam last year for our honeymoon and this year we stayed in the Willow. Everything about Flowerydell is just amazing! The lodges have everything you need and more, they are clean, spacious, private and literally faultless. We chose a fantastic weekend to come and We will be returning next year without a doubt, earlier if possible.

    An Amazing Girls Relaxation weekend - with our dogs

    What a lovely Holiday stay we had and the welcome pack for us ladies & the dogs ( little toy, biscuits, towels for wet paws, great thought and saved used my own) was a lovely touch, as well as the very thoughtful bottle of Rose for our birthdays! Which went down lovely watching Strictly on Saturday night, thank you. The lodge was really warm and welcoming, and very easy to maintain the temperature, and fully equipped for TV, Sky, Netflix, Prime. The welcome pack was very informative and gave you guidance and instructions for everything. The surroundings are very lush and green (reddish) which are now booming with colour for the start of Autumn and very well maintained. Really quiet. The dog exercise field is great for the morning & evening short walks, which is brilliant if you have been out all-day or your pooch just needs a little walk. Richmond town is located 7 mins in the car, as well as Easby Abbey ( parked at the station , again 8 mins away) which was a lovely walk on a nice sunny day and we stopped for a coffee and homemade cake just 2 mins before the Abbey. Thanks for a lovely stay and we will be back

    Enjoyable last minute break at Flowery Dell

    A really last minute find for a short break and so pleased we booked here. Reception staff really helpful and welcoming and hot tub man friendly also. Perfect place to take our dog with access to a public walkway (Boggy Lane) across the road about 10 mins into Richmond and further walks from there. Grateful to be able to relax in the hot tub afterwards, although outdoor furniture could do with being replaced, a bit wobbly in places! We did struggle to find a local pub to take dog which served decent food but on the whole a good area for a break in the Yorkshire Dales. We were really lucky with the weather.

    Another amazing stay!

    We have just got back from the most wonderful stay at Willow lodge at Flowery Dell celebrating our 1st wedding Anniversary and our first holiday with our rescue dog Sully. Everything about our lodge was just perfect, it had a lovely cosy homely feel and was well equipped with everything you needed incase you do forget anything. We have made so many new memories with sully we will treasure forever. We first visited Flowery Dell 3 years ago where we got engaged there and after our most recent holiday back here this really is such a special place to us with so many lovely memories and express how thankful we are for such a perfect holiday. We will definitely be visiting again very soon And can’t wait to book our next holiday here.

The lodges are perfectly located on the outskirts of Richmond and are nestled amongst trees and nature with lots of visits from the local rabbits, pheasants and squirrels. The lodges are clean and cosy and have all of your home comforts which you could possibly need. The staff are helpful without being intrusive and the hot tub is checked twice a day and uses wonderful bonus. Here's to the next twenty years!
