Villa Elaion Con Privada Vistas al mar piscina- -Villa ideal para parejas

A mitad de camino entre el pueblo de la colina virgen de Glossa y el puerto de Loutraki.
Las idas y venidas de los barcos en el puerto también proporcionan interés como un par de veces al día un ferry en tirará como lo harán más pequeños gatos voladores y, por supuesto, una gran cantidad de barcos de pesca yates etc. Glossa está por encima de la villa lo suficientemente lejos para mantener la privacidad, pero lo suficientemente cerca para disfrutar de sus tabernas, tiendas y cafés. Loutraki debajo de la villa también tiene algunas tiendas y excelentes tabernas y cafés.

Kommunikation und Check-in möchten wir besonders hervorheben- wir wurden bei der Ankunft am Hafen sehr freundlich von Anthoula empfangen und zum Haus geführt. Der nicht asphaltierte Weg zum Haus ist kurz, aber eng und ein wenig steinig und machbar mit einem normalen PKW. Man kann das Auto draußen neben dem Haus parken. Das geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus ist gut ausgestattet, gegessen wird draußen auf der Terrasse umgeben von Oliven und Obstbäumen, es gibt eine Boulebahn, von der man eine herrliche Aussicht bis zum Meer hat. In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft stehen weitere Ferienhäuser, die während unseres Aufenthalts vorwiegend unbewohnt waren. Die (niedrige) Mauer um das Haus und die üppige Vegetation geben dem Haus viel Privatsphäre. Der komfortable Swimmingpool wurde alle zwei Tage gereinigt, es gibt eine kräftige Aussendusche auf Stein. Gelegen zwischen Loutraki und Glossa konnten wir in jeweils 15 Minuten zu Fuß beide Orte erreichen, ausgehen und Einkäufe erledigen. Der nächste Badestrand ist am Hafen von Loutraki. Gute Restaurants findet man in Glossa. Die Menschen hier sind sehr freundlich und herzlich- wir haben unseren Aufenthalt auf Skopelos sehr genossen und können die Insel jedem empfehlen, der Natur, schöne Strände und Gastfreundschaft schätzt. Auch beim Check-out wurden wir von Anthoula bestens betreut, die einen nahtlosen Übergang in unser zweites Haus organisierte. An dieser Stelle möchten wir uns ganz herzlich bei Anthoula und ihren Helfern bedanken

Nice property with gorgeous views across the bay ; a little hard to reach with an underpowered car - we needed an automatic but it needed a run-up on the hill to get up to access the house , so a car rental tip is get something at least 1.6 litre i would say ! The communication and support of Anthoula was nothing short of excellent she went above and beyond to help us with anything and could not recommend her more ! The only comment i’d make specifically about the property is that the tree foliage all around was quite overgrown , it needed a lot of pruning to bring it all back to its best !

As Greek as you could get

Let me start off with the overview … quiet, blissful, quirky, arty, oasis of everything you need a Greek villa for if you want relaxation.To get the view you have to be high, which means a little dirt track up to it, get a small powerful car!!The villa is well equipped, if I was being picky the only thing it would benefit from is a smart TV, we couldn’t get anything on the TV and the host didn’t come back to us about it, for some not a deal breaker, however we do enjoy watching a film at the end of a day relaxing!!!

Entspannt erholen auf wunderschöner bewaldeter Insel

Es ist ein schöner Ort zum Erholen mit einem traumhaften Außengelände, auf dem es sich gut aushalten lässt. Es gibt auch genügend Schatten und Sonne, einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und die Nachbarinsel Skiathos und die Sonnenuntergänge. Der Garten mit allem Drumherum ist sicher das Prunkstück, auch wenn man mit Mücken rechnen darf. Das Doppelbett im Haupthaus ist bequem. Im Nebenhaus sind die Matratzen der drei Betten nichts für sensible Schläfer. Man sollte ruhig wissen, dass es ein Haupthaus mit einem Schafzimmer, einem Wohnzimmer, WC/Bad und Küche gibt. Und separat gibt es ein kleines Haus direkt daneben mit einem Doppel und einem Einzelbett plus WC/Bad. Ob das Vor- oder Nachteil ist, muss jeder für sich entscheiden. Die Küche ist ganz gut ausgestattet, allerdings könnten die Sachen etwas sauberer sein bzw. ist es innen im Haus nicht mehr ganz frisch, was aber bei dem Außengelände, auf dem man sich die meiste Zeit aufhalten dürfte, kein Problem sein sollte. WLAN ist bestens, auch im Garten. Anthoula als Verwalterin ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, Kontakt per Mail war schnell und verlässlich. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber das sind viele Straßen auf Skopelos. Es gibt auch eine Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Zufahrt zum Haus, der Bus fährt jedoch nicht oft. Leider schließen im Oktober Stück für Stück die meisten Lokale, Cafés (auch die Strand-Bars) etc. - aber über Supermärkte etc. kann man sich trotzdem gut versorgen.

Haus

Es hat fast alles gepasst, das Haus hat einen schönen griechischen Charme. Die Toilette im Badezimmer des Haupthauses sollte man erneuern. Die Auffahrt ist nichts für ungeübte Autofahrer ( ein kleines Auto wäre von Vorteil, kein tiefer gelegtes). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es nur weiter empfehlen.

Villa Elaion is a wonderful place

Villa Elaion is a wonderful place with a lot of charm, a green garden with a great pool, a beautiful boules court and with breathtaking views. The wonderful Hristos (superstar) and Antoula are always on hand if there is exceptionally a problem, help with transfers and the pool is cleaned every other early morning as if by magic. The property is located in a quiet natural side street somewhat hidden between Loutraki and Glossa, total rest and relaxation are guaranteed and all the magnificent beaches of the lush green island of Skopelos can be reached by rental car in 5 - 30 minutes. (A small issue is perhaps the toilet in the main house, this tends to clogging but with greater caution this can be avoided). Overall a clear recommendation!

Amazing villa with exceptional views

It was a very welcome return to Villa Elaion after 4 years. The villa is a truely magical place with exceptional views. The beautiful gardens and pool are well looked after by Hristos who is an absolute superstar, and very helpful if there are any queries or issues. The house is a true home from home with a very well equiped kitchen and comfy bed! Thanks to Aude for sharing your wonderful home and thanks to Hristos and his wife Despina! We had a very relaxing and peaceful holiday and hope to return again soon!!

Lovely villa with stunning views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and thought the villa was nicely appointed and decorated. The gardens and pool are gorgeous and have beautiful views of the sea. We loved watching the sunset and changing colors of the sky every evening. Christos was very helpful with questions and brought us a grill grate so we could grill. It was not clear in the listing that the second bedroom was in a separate building, which was problematic for our children (and many families I would think), so my husband ended up spending most nights with one of our sons there and said that bed was not comfortable. Highly recommend making it clear it is in a separate building and upgrading that mattress (the one in the main house was perfect!). It was very helpful having a washing machine but would recommend adding instructions for how to use it as it took several tries to get it to function properly. It’s summer and some insects are expected but there were tons of ants everywhere (all over outdoor table) and several hornets which made outdoor dining challenging. We did enjoy our stay and would definitely return.

Erholsamer Traumurlaub

Wir waren 2 Wochen in an diesem herrlichen Feckchen Erde und haben es sehr genossen. Die Insel ist ruhig und erholsam, das Haus und der Garten perfekt. Das Sahnehübchen ist der Pool. Die Betrueung durch Christos könnte besser nicht sein.

Endroit idyllique pour se reposer

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la villa. La réalité est encore mieux que sur les photos. L'environnement est magnifique : verdure, calme. Tout est fait pour se ressourcer. Nous avons été accueillis par Hristos, chaleureux et réactif. La maison est très agréable à vivre. À 5' à peine en voiture du village de Glossa pour faire les courses. Piscine bienvenue pour se rafraîchir. Tout est fait pour s'y sentir bien.

Beautiful villa on dream island

Villa Elaion is stunning. The location and grounds are breathtaking. The villa itself is full of old character with a wonderful outside area . Anthoula the property manager and Christos the caretaker could not of been more helpful, always responsive to any queries or requests. A car is necessary but there are a number of taxis companies in Glossa who were very reliable if you prebook. Villa Elaion and Skopelos are quite magical.

Amazing haven - even better than the photos

It's not often you arrive at a place and it's even better than the photos suggested, but that was the case with Villa Elaion, which exceeded all our expectations. It's hard to fault the place, or the team who run it: housekeeper/gardener Hristos and his wife; Anthoula, who oversaw our booking and replied so promptly to all our pre-trip questions; and the owner, Aude, for sharing her wonderful home. My wife and I brought her 87-year-old mother on holiday, promising her a place of calm and beauty. It couldn't have been better. The split accommodation worked perfectly - there is a second, self-contained en-suite annexe at the back of the main house. The pool is a big selling point and the views from across the bay to distant islands were exceptional - from dawn and dusk. It was always clean too - Hristos comes in quietly every other day at sunrise to clean it. The bbq was great fun to use - we cooked Skopelos sausage (a local speciality) and fresh fish. And the kitchen was spotless and fully equipped. The best thing about Villa Elaion, however, was the overall sense of authenticity. This place feels like a genuine home rather than a purpose-built holiday let and the interiors are incredibly tasteful. No Athena-posters here! From the choice of music CDs (from Salif Keita to Dave Brubeck), to the contemporary art, to the furniture - all very stylish and homely too. A huge thank you to everyone. It was quite high risk bringing my elderly mother-in-law on holiday, but she loved it. And that's because of Villa Elaion and its tranquility and beauty. Greece loves grandmothers too - as a lovely cafe owner in Loutraki said to us, everyone has one! Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect: The house, the garden with pool and the view to the seaside is beautiful, we couldn't have imagined a more beautiful place. The property manager was very friendly and helpful.

So much more than we expected!

We got picked up in the harbor by Christos, who brought us to the house. The house is very tastefully decorated an has nice furniture. In fact You actually rent two houses. The main house is an older structure and the living room as well as the bedroom are really big, each with direct access to the garden and terrasse. The garden is great with a nice pool and the best view! Olive trees, palm trees oleander etc. all there. You can walk up to the village to go to the bakery in the morning, takes abou 20 minutes. And on the way you will find fige trees, almond trees and plum trees to feed you. We had a wonderful holiday on this lovely island in this lovely house! Christos, the housekeeper and his wife were lovely, bringing us cake and sweets and finals waving goodbye when we had to leave after 10 days. We can definitely recommend this place and will definitely go back. One smal suggestion: Since the driveway to the house and the gate are fairly narrow, do bring a big car. Thanks again for the lovely holiday!
