Precioso recién reformado apartamento de 1 dormitorio a pocos minutos a pie de Kensington High Street, South Kensington y Gloucester Road estaciones de metro. El apartamento está muy cerca de Museo Nacional de Historia, Museo de la Ciencia, el Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park y Kensington Palace.

El salón tiene una ventana de la puerta de cristal bonito, elegante mesa de comedor para 4 personas, sofá cama y TV de 43 pulgadas UHD 4 K, que tiene por satélite, canales gratuitos por cable. Junto a la sala de estar es la cocina, que está muy bien equipada y cuenta con horno, vitrocerámica (placa), microondas, lavavajillas, lavadora, frigorífico / congelador y un buen almacenamiento. Las escaleras conducen a la planta baja con el dormitorio y baño. La habitación es amueblada con cama de matrimonio otomana, un buen espacio de armario y 2 sillas con mesa de café. En la planta baja también cuenta desde el sistema de calefacción por suelo radiante con suelo de mármol. El baño está muy bien equipado con bañera, ducha sobre la bañera, lavabo y retrete.

This was such a cute apartment on the 3d floor, no elevator. It had everything we needed, very clean. It’s in a great shopping area. Only a few minutes from Kensington Palace, totally recommend. I would definitely stay here again, but on 1st floor.

Very tidy and well stocked rental. Cute and comfortable. Loved our stay and would stay again if we return to London. Things to note...rental on the third floor with narrow stairs. Not good for anyone with mobility issues or large luggage.

Cannot say enough nice things! Checking in and out was a breeze. The neighborhood was absolutely perfect with local restaurants, cafes and grocers. Very easy walk to the underground - highly recommend the CityMapper app for getting around town. We can’t wait to come back. and, cheers to the next person checking in - we left some Ted Lasso stickers (accidentally) for you to enjoy

Top location, all amenities!!!

This property is in the center of touristical London, close to charming cafés, restaurants, museums & attractions. Lovely area with fabulous bus & tube connections to other parts of the city. Apartment has practically everything you need for a short or long stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful location

We enjoyed the Kensington area and being near the Gloucester station. The apartment is small but was adequate for two people. We visited during July and it was hot. The apartment is on the third floor and of course, therefore, quite warm. The air conditioning unit didn’t cool enough to be comfortable at night but the host kindly offered to pay for a fan. We didn’t buy one though. It would be handy in the future to blow air into the sleeping area. All in all I would stay there again.

Fabulous neighborhood

Beautiful location, short walk to the tube, fantastic restaurant De Mario’s across the street, small grocery nearby, coffee shops etc. The flat was small but all my husband and I needed. Good size fridge, well appointed with essentials. The small air conditioner was a gift with the hot weather we had! We would definitwly stay again!

Perfect location, lovely apartment

Perfectly equipped, lovely spacious apartment. Situated on the Piccadilly line and a few minutes (flat) walk from Gloucester Road station means very easy access to Heathrow as well as the major tourist sites of London. Michael was very responsive and easy to communicate with, apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Cannot recommend highly enough, will definitely look to stay here next time we’re in London.

Perfect Place in a Stellar Location

This apartment is perfect. The location is on point, it's quiet, clean and convenient. It's a perfect location for solo travel, or as a couple. The bedroom and bathroom are located downstairs, and is very quiet and secure at night. The apartment is an efficient use of space. There is a pub right across the street, and several more down the street (out the front door, and down to the left). This apartment is very close to several great museums: The Science, V&A, and Natural History Museum. Highly recommend it!

Perfect for us!

The only confusing thing is that the buildings in the exterior picture are actually next door, this apartment entry looks different - but very nice. The apartment felt very secure and was immaculate. Floor to ceiling windows on the main floor made everything bright and even though the bedroom was below ground (making it very quiet) skylights kept it from being dim. A nice pub and a Partridges market across the street were super convenient. Tube station within easy walking distance. People we met were very impressed that we had an apartment in that area, but we paid no more - and perhaps less - than we would have for a hotel.

Revisiting London

We booked this flat because of location. We previously lived in the area. We had some difficulty checking in. The automated door code was not listed on VBRO. The manager had to reset it before we could enter. Same with WIFI. It would have been helpful if there was a book with information about WiFi, stove top and microwave. We had issues and needed to get responses from manager. He was quick to respond, but a booklet would have answered these questions. The flat was very small as described. No real closet or wardrobe to put clothing in. Location to Glouster tube was great and an express Tesco handy. The 3rd floor flat was warm and the floor air conditioner was not vented outside, so did not cool unit. We were there for 5 nights. I would not book this flat again, instead I’d spend more money for a nicer unit.

Great flat in beautiful location

Lovely flat with everything you need for a short break. Very clean and good communications with host . Lively area but so quiet at night so you get a great nights sleep. Highly recommended.

Bright, airy spot

Having stayed for three weeks in this bright, airy spot, the location couldn't have been better. Michael was a gracious, responsive host. If and when we return to London, we would definitely return to this apartment. It's about 5 blocks from the Gloucester Road underground so you can take the Piccadilly line from Heathrow directly. The Central and District lines are also located there, so it is extremely easy to get around London. Kensington is definitely a perfect area to stay.

Airy flat; a little dirty in loo and kitchen. Well situated in lovely area and near tube

The photograph of the flat is very misleading. In fact the flat does not appear at all in the picture , not even the front door! However we were not too disappointed with that. The flat is a 2 room (1 up 1 down) . Plainly decorated. A few negatives; the loo had evidence of old poo. The kitchen sink was not clean. The design of the sink area made it difficult to use as the sink was set back in the corner under the top units. The shower was difficult; firstly the tap was very stiff; it took some time to figure this as we were afraid we might damage it. Secondly the water tap and the temperature tap were so close they hit each other. Thirdly I could not lower the temperature even with the tap turned fully anti-clockwise The flat was light and airy. The bed was very comfortable. All the basics for self catering were there. The owner was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome.

Thank you Brian for the feedback. Firstly, I am very sorry to hear that there was some dirt left after cleaning; I have brought your feedback to the attention of cleaner. Secondly, I have reviewed the photos - current images are exact representation of the apartment. There is also images of the neighborhood (to be exact the street where we are located) and places of interest near by. But you are right I have not put the entrance image, purely because of the privacy. Thirdly, I believe you appreciate that the apartment is newly refurbished and therefore, fittings and appliances used are very modern. It is always good to ask for an assistance when you are not sure for instance, how the taps works. Thank you again for your feedback, and I am happy that you have enjoyed your stay.

Glimpse royal domestic life at Kensington Palace: Visit the public areas and gardens of this royal family commune that has housed Queen Victoria, Princess Dianna and currently the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge ( William & Kate) - literally 5 mins away from the apartment.

Kensington and Chelsea is in the central part of London, and is the city's most fashionable residential address. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe with excellent communications. You can walk to the museums, cinemas etc. There are five supermarkets all within walking distance and the area is home to a bevy of stylish shops and delicious restaurant, you will never be short of places to dine out.
