One of the bedrooms is actually a loft, so it lacks privacy and gets a lot of sunlight, which isn't great for sleeping during the Alaskan summers. The condo shares a wall with someone with two dogs. There is barking, and sometimes it's not bad; at other times, they bark at the slightest movement in the unit. Our stay was for two months. A neighbor reported to the owner that three people were staying in the place instead of just the two, who were on the booking. This turned our experience as guests into that of tenants who were treated with suspicion and untrue accusations. This was shocking to us because we never had a third person spend the night. The owner even acknowledged this could be from two people sharing one truck for part of our stay and then having two separate vehicles for the last portion of our stay. We allowed the owner to inspect the property, who then took pictures of all our belongings and the condo. The experience was very uncomfortable for the last two weeks, all for something we never did, and at the time of writing this, you can even book the place with three guests for no extra cost, so all this trouble for something the owner normally allows.
