Dearest Maria and family We are very surprised by your review . Specially after you were raving to us about how much you enjoyed the experience and how much you wanted to comeback. Some of the things you complain were never mentioned to us at any time despite the many times we asked you if you were having a pleasant stay or if you needed anything at all from us in those not 4 days but 7 days as you mentioned. On your unfair review you mentioned the property of having 2 bathrooms. Correct. The description is on our site clearly for anyone to read before booking as we don’t want any confusion among our guest. Our motto here is transparency and full communication with all our guest as we pride ourselves on that particular aspect and we are always open for any time of questions , suggestions or desires you may have. We try to accommodate as much as possible to our best ability . As mentioned on our site , one of the bathrooms have a large shower and the other bathroom is fully equipped meaning …That one has a toilet , shower and sink. We also provide a large bathroom on the ground floor. You also mentioned you were coming for pre wedding celebrations of your daughter’s marriage and we were so honoured to be chosen for such a wonderful moment in your life . As such we wanted to take it up on us to make it extremely memorable and special for you and your family by going out of our way to offer you in our behalf a beautiful celebration including the beautiful flowers just to put a smile on your face all for no charge . That’s the kind of service we like and choose to give to our precious customers even tho it’s not of our business ; but we like to think that they are family to us so therefore they deserve the best! In regards to your review post we find many things that don’t make sense as nothing at any time was expressed to us and many are exaggerated lies and I will explain why. You had a choice of cooking your own meals on the fully equipped kitchen inside your apartment that includes many products free, or have the services of our restaurant in the property You choose the restaurant every day of your stay ,breakfast lunch, and dinner. Regarding the comment about the food prices, the restaurant has always had a fresh new menu that changes everyday depending on what’s fresh in the market as we pride ourselves to serve the freshest fish, meat fruit or vegetables of our various special selected vendors. With that said all our guest have a first hand pick to the freshest meal. They can see and choose from a variety of options we put together for that day based on the product availability of our vendors. The choices and prices are always clear and and we have never had a problem at all in the past. All the contrary, people love the quality of the food , the freshness and prices , considering many come directly from the ocean or the farms picked on the very same day to assure their quality and not weeks later as the things you buy at a grocery store. We are professional chefs and we are very selective with what we offer to our guests. The same idea goes for the flowers . We go and picked them ourselves directly from the green houses and not at a grocery store or a flower shop. As you know, we decided to give you beautiful celebration at no extra cost ; something that you forgot or chose not to mention in this unfair review. You had several breakfasts , lunches and dinners . All with the most freshest products prepared by us. High qualified tuscan chefs. Aside the many meals prepared at your request we also provided you with plenty of snacks for the entire family at all times with no extra costs . Again , something not mention by you on that yet again unfair review. You didn’t stayed here for 4 days as it is written on your review but 7 days. Plenty of time for you to address if anything or something was wrong. We asked many times and you never mentioned anything at all. You kept telling us you were please. So we will not appreciate nor will tolerate the most minimum exaggerated an true statement Your beloved husband who was an absolute pleasure to meet and whom we had so many wonderful conversations with , continuously said that this has been one of his best vacations ever . On his stay he decided to order and drink three bottles of our most finest wines of the region. SuperTuscan Sassicaia or Guado al Tasso , not to mentio other fine liquors every day. That’s exactly what many of our guests like to do here in Italy as they want to experience the full Dolce vita experience at all times . Every single wine or liquor price is in the wine list by the cantina and some are in the menu for anyone to see and decide what fits their budget as this is very personal. So I can assure you that full transparency has always been there in terms of your food review price comment. We charge way less than any other fine places because as opposed to other professional chefs, food is our passion and not a business as other chefs may tend to see it. We don’t blame them either. Here your husband's favorite dish was pasta with Black Caviar and mini Lobsters A very distinct fine meal. He wanted a particular fine Caviar and we got it for him and were quite generous with it as well when preparing his meal . And considering the abundance of the Caviar we choose to add , as mentioned before, being passionate about food and not the price, your meal was quite reasonable !! I can almost assure you you would have pay twice as much at any other place if not more! You could’ve always choosen any other type of pasta available on the menu but you preferred that one in particular with that price. We always have a diverse and affordable variety of food to suit all kinds of budgets with clear prices but your husband has a distinct taste who only preferred these type of high quality products and you preceded to order that particular one. We all know they tend to cost more than other pasta dishes prepared without them so I don’t understand you questioning the price at all. I find it quite shocking to read your review as there was nothing we chose for you nor we heard any complaints from you despite the many times we asked you if everything was ok or if you needed anything, Instead you left telling us you had a great time and wanted to come back . The reviews of our loyal repeat clients speak of them all. All you mentioned at that time when we were together was that you wanted to come back. So we are perplexed about your unfair review about our prices. However … The only thing I can’t thank you enough is for comparing the quality of our food with that of the Four Seasons. Yes. We pride ourselves of our food quality and not to mention our quantity and unique low prices for the caliber of food . We have never had a problem with the private chef dinner experiences in the past, all the contrary. With that said , there will be plenty of caviar and fine wine waiting for you as always for a fraction of the price of other places as well as budget friendly meals and wine if it accomodates you better. There is nothing we would like more than to add you to our long list of return fine discerning clients to continue to have the finest experience for their vacation.
