Lovely cottage with great outdoor courtyard and great location

Lovely cottage, clean with good facilities - good shower and comfy beds! We loved the location and outside courtyard was great . Would definitely recommend and would stay again if returning to Whitby

Great get away on the doorstep of all that is Whitby

The cottage was a great location for us, enabled us to pop back for lunches if we needed to without missing out on the day. The property was as described, cosy, clean and comfortable, just what we needed.

Lovely cottage very close to the harbour in quiet location

A really lovely cottage in a very quiet location and also very close to the harbour, rail and bus stations and shops and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Can honestly say it is the best holiday cottage I have ever stayed in and I would definitely return.

Cozy, clean house and fantastic location

This charming house is clean, comfortable, and ideally located to explore beautiful Whitby. Comfortable beds, good shower, everything we needed. (Just a warning if you are tall: beware of low doorways, inside and at the gate leading to the courtyard!)

Weekend away

The cottage was fantastic and Colin was very helpful, with recommendations of places to eat and things to do, the cottage was immaculate, well equipped with everything you would need and very convenient in the centre of Whitby, I can highly recommend

Fantastic stay

Had a really great short stay at Gulls Cry. The cottage is fantastic. Very comfortable and superbly renovated. The cottage is in a great location - very central but equally nice and quiet. Colin was superb - provided lots of help and local information. Would love to stay again and can definitely recommend.

Well situated , cosy small cottage near all of Whitbys major attractions

This cottage was near the major attractions of Whitby , you can walk to the abbey , shops beach and restaurants and cafes without needing your car. Has the advantage of a courtyard that we imagine would be lovely in summer . The owner ensures you are everything on offer which is lovely .

Superb cottage and location

Colin is the perfect host, always on hand by messaging/email within minutes with any queries. Really cosy, spacious cottage very close to the harbour. Just wish we had been able to get booked in for more than 2 nights in hindsight. Whitby is delightful 😍

Beautiful cottage

Gulls cry is beautiful, spotlessly clean and has every thing you might need. From tv’s in all the bedrooms to a beer fringe in the summer house. Courtyard was a lovely, close to everything that Whitby has on offer. Amazing stay & would definitely stay again Thank you
