We totally enjoyed our stay at the Fellows House. There were many, many things we loved. The house has been updated inside with tasteful decor, very comfortable and ample seating inside and out. Kitchen was well stocked with quality dishes, utensils, knives, and cookware, including household things like saran wrap, dishwasher and laundry detergent, which made cooking a pleasure. Quality appliances. Two large flat screen TVs. Living room space is much larger than pictures. There are three very desirable outdoor spaces--two in the front and back of the covered porch which are ocean view and street side; one in open space to the side of the house. The view is as promised, loved watching the tide in and out each day. Beach is not crowded, full of wonderful colorful pebbles, we spent hours walking on the sand. Location easy to drive to other restaurants, or to downtown Plymouth to see the Mayflower and Plymouth Plantation. Walking to the Lobster Pound to buy fresh seafood for dinner was a treat--about a 1,000 steps away. Owner was pleasant to deal with, responded quickly to our texts. The place was very clean when we arrived. The upstairs bath if 3/4 with a shower (no tub). We were one family, and only used three bedrooms, so sharing 1 1/2 baths worked, but might be crowded for a larger group.
Things we would improve: while there are two high quality beach chairs, more are needed. Downstairs half bath needs a towel rack as there is no where to hang a hand towel . Sheets, linens and beach towels are not provided--which is a challenge for those who travel via plane and surprised considering the cost. The septic system only allows for one load of wash per day. One thing we didn't like: the closest neighbor played loud music on outdoor speakers for several days--so loud we could hear it when inside the house and we found it too disruptive to read on the porch. Several hours after being asked, they turned it lower, but we could still hear clearly it when sitting out on the porch over the next two days.
