Great house, close proximity to uwharrie OHV trails and the zoo. We were able to fit 3 trucks, trailers and rock crawlers between the driveways. Would definitely recommend to any larger groups staying in the area! Only recommendation for the hosts would be make the upper door a lockable entrance door so you could avoid the stairs when possible!

Another great year

This house fits our family's needs perfectly. The host is top notch as well. This was our 4th or 5th year and we hope to return again next year.

Summer vacation

The check in was very simple. The downstairs living space was comfortable, clean and had all the views. Location at the end of the cove was very quite, but the catfish didn't venture down to the end. Dock worked great and allowed good access for many hours floating in the water. Friends were able to bring their boat down and visit. We didnt expect the temperatures to be as hot as they were, we had a pop-up canopy that fit on the dock great. Very quiet and peaceful get-a-way.

Long Weekend

Wonderful lake property! Very clean home with plenty of room. We enjoyed the kitchen and living area being on the main floor and the bedrooms being located upstairs. This definitely helped those who wanted to sleep in or nap not be disturbed. The floats provided by the owners were very thoughtful, we used them to float in the water right at the home’s dock and felt very safe. It is important to know there is no boat ramp on the property, however, we found a nearby public boat access and had no problems navigating back to the house. We didn’t want to leave and would love to stay here again!

Nice Vacation Home - Minus the steps

Our family had a great time fishing and swimming. A great area. The only minus is the stairs that literally go straight up to the bedrooms.

Location, location, location

This house was clean and comfortable. The lake view is wonderful from the quiet cove where this property is located. Quiet and secluded. We loved it so much we reserved it again for our next get together!

Family and friends stayed at the Lakehouse and it worked out perfectly! Especially clean, nicely outfitted and with what a view. The owners responses to my questions were amazingly fast. Strongly recommend this place for any stay in and around Badin Lake!!

Family vacation

We always enjoy this property we have done this yearly usually we only get to spend 4 days this time we used an entire week and had a lot of fun caught bass in the lake canoed and visited with family and friends

Fishing Trip

We recently rented here for a week-long fishing trip. The property had everything we needed inside and out for a very comfortable and nice stay. The dock was perfect for mooring our small boat and the location was close to the Uwharrie forest area of the lake which was less developed and very beautiful. The owner was friendly and very helpful and accomodating. We would certainly stay there again in the future.

3rd year visiting this property - hope to return again!

The property is well maintained, host is great, and location is perfect for our family. The stairs are challenging for someone with mobility issues but every lake house we have rented has had stairs. This one offers exactly what we need and Majorie has always been super wonderful to work with. We don't spend as much time on the water as most guests probably do so had to repeatedly reset the thermostat to keep house cool (71-72), but we understand the need to keep utility costs down.

Good Lakefront House on Badin

Great house layout with the big, open kitchen and living room on the lower level along with the lakefront patio. Plenty of room in the 2 bedrooms and bonus room upstairs. Our dog enjoyed swimming off the bank/dock (no dogs allowed upstairs inside the house) and I caught a few fish too. We'd return.

The property was right in front of the lake. The dock is perfect to swim & tie up our boat.

This was a large 3 bedroom house with plenty of room for extra airbeds and cots. Kitchen has new appliances and washer/dryer are on lake side level for easy access. We lived at lake level and only went upstairs to sleep. The roses are beautiful. Our 5 yr old caught a 5.6 lb Catfish within 5 minutes of casting lessons. Lake is huge. Kayak and canoe lots of fun.

The Perfect Place to Celebrate

I found this property after searching several other sites. I was looking for a place on Badin Lake because I have some friends who live on the lake and we wanted to have a large gathering for my 50th birthday celebration. I had actually booked another site through another vacation rental website and that owner gave the rental away after I had sent in my payment for the weekend so I was desperate to find another place. This place was perfect! It was HALF the price of the other property, with way more room and a nearly perfect location at the end of a cove. The owners have really under-described this house. On the bottom floor, there is a huge porch, with plenty of room for 12 adults (and 1 5-year old) to hang out all day long. There is an external music system, a fire pit (for s'mores!), ceiling fans to keep the breeze moving and a dock for the canoe, kayak and floats. Inside there is a huge open kitchen and living/dining area. We spent all of our evenings in this area, between making dinner together and just relaxing and catching up. The kitchen is well-stocked with all your cooking needs. The bathroom on this floor also contains a convenient washer and dryer. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed, one with two twin beds and one with a futon sleeper and plenty of room for the supplied air mattress. The bathroom upstairs is super spacious. There was plenty of bedding and towels for everyone. We slept 7 each night, but the house could easily sleep more, especially if you use the futon in the downstairs living room. Honestly, this was the perfect place for a quiet weekend away from our homes around the southeast to catch up and celebrate our friendships. We went boating, floated on the lake, hung around on the porch, made great meals and slept well each night. It was the perfect weekend.

We have had our lakes home since 2006. This was a dream come true as we camped on Badin Lake for 12 years before we found our home. It remains our family home. I'm now a widow, retired after 43 years in nursing. I share the management of the property with my sons. As a team we hope you all will love the lake as much as we have. We retained the honest and personal belief that we treat anyone the way we would expect to be treated.

No agency with impersonal service. We are available by phone and email. We understand families are extended and we welcome your children and pets. We provide kayak and canoe so everyone may embrace our lake. We ask that all pets remain on the lower level to avoid pet issues in the sleeping carpeted areas. We partner with a Rental co. which offer a 25 ft. Tritoon w/ 200 HP motor.

Personal service., smoke free home and pets are always welcome on the tiled area of the house. Please be aware this is a lake side location so all children must be monitored when at the lake to avoid falls and water hazards.
