Just perfect!

Just the place for a beach getaway. Condo was lovely, clean, and exceeded our expectations. Even though we had such a short stay, we loved staying here. We can't wait to come back for a longer stay!

Perfect Getaway

Perfect quiet location for our family getaway. Loved having access to the beach, pool, watching boats go by. Enjoyed dinner not far from condo and nice walk to coffee shop each morning. Closet was stocked with some beach chairs and a small cooler.

Quick Getaway

We decided to do a quick getaway for Father’s Day weekend. We have one child who’s 3 1/2. We were able to bring a travel bed for him to sleep in. Quick walk to the beach! It was so nice to be able to spend the end of the day in the pool. We’ll be back.

Perfect Getaway

We love staying at the barefoot beach resort. Dean was very helpful all around. Everything they said it had, it did. This unit has a keurig as well as a mini coffee maker which was the perfect size for my husband and I. The location of this unit was great-we enjoyed having the keypad as well as the 2 exits. One to the pool side and one to the parking lot. So many things within walking distance, this was a perfect quick getaway for our anniversary. We plan on staying here again!

Barefoot Beach Resort Indian Shores

The location and complex was really nice, the singe bedroom unit we stayed in was very roomy and a great layout. We were at first concerned that we were not on the ocean side, but being on the intercostal was nice as we got to experience both as beach access was right across the street. The only down side was that the unit we stayed in had a TV where the remote did not work and hot water for the shower didn't work many times.

Thank you for the review. I’m glad you enjoyed the area and the location of my condo. I’m sorry that you experienced the problem with the TV remote and the hot water heater but as you know the remote problem seem to be that you were using the wrong remote, I had the maintenance man come in and, take care of it leaving the right remote on the table for you and the hot water heater was ordered immediately and replaced when it came in three days later he also took care of regulating the water for you for the rest of your stay while you were there. Again , I’m sorry for the inconvenience that you had for the last few days of your stay. Have spoke with you since and it’s my knowledge that you were very happy about my quick response. Dean.

Absolutely Perfect!

My wife lived in Clearwater so we try to come back every year for vacation to see family. This year we went a little further south to Indian Shores and loved it. The laid back, non busy, and minimally crowded beaches really took us by surprise. We also really appreciated the kindness of the owners, and we definitely plan on coming again next year. Also the best pizza place was pizza “ Slyce Pizza”. The #1 homemade ice cream we’ve ever had was “Haze Ice Cream”. The best part is they are both really close.

Nothing bad to say about the home. It was clean, ready early and perfectly located. The only negative but no control of the owners, is we had heavy walkers/furnature movers above us and it was definitely disturbing. They were loud all day and night. That part alone I cannot stay here again.

Nice condo and close to the beach

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The condo was very clean and the complex was nice. The complex is just across the street from the beach with a crosswalk located directly in front of the complex. The only negative aspect for us was this condo did not have any outdoor space. We would have liked a private area where we could have sat outside and hung up our beach attire. Overall a good experience. The owner was very easy to communicate with.

Great location

Beach access is directly across the street. Perfect fishing dock for the kids (and adults). Our kids enjoyed catching pinfish and catfish. The condo was very clean and fully stocked with fresh towels. I recommend bring extra blankets and possibly pillows. The pull out bed only has sheets, luckily my kids had blankets in the car. There are only 4 pillows in the unit, if you need more bring them. Overall it was a great location and condo.

Just ‘OK’

We stayed at Barefoot Beach resort five years ago and we were very happy with the condo that we selected at that time and decided to come back however, it was unavailable for the dates that we were vacationing. This condo is not anything special. It did not feel particularly clean and had an odd smell. Upon arriving, the toilet began to make a squealing noise that was continuous. We contacted the owner who promptly called and told us that a plumber would be coming in the morning to fix this. I also mentioned that the light in the bedroom was out. I was told that it was difficult to change the light and to do without. It was disappointing to find that our first day that the pool was not working. I will say that it is nice/convenient to be able to walk right across the street and have a private beach access. I would consider staying at thus resort again but probably not this specific condo.

Kimberly, I’m sorry that you did not find my condo particular to your standards. You checked in on Sunday the pool was working on Monday that was out of my control. You did call and tell me that the toilet was making a noise and the repairman was there immediately the next morning. You told me the bedroom light switches in the fan was not working I told you there was extra bulbs for it over the refrigerator but I was out of town and if you could do without that light since there were two other lamps in the bedroom I would appreciate it because it was very difficult to change . I have never had a complaint about the cleanliness of my unit that is something I am very very particular about and I will talk to my cleaning staff I’m sorry that you did not mention it to me during your stay. Again I’m sorry and hopefully the unit you stayed in before will be available when you come back . Dean Boyd

What a fun place!

My fiancé and I did a last minute rental for 2 nights and this rental was everything we were looking for! The apartment is perfectly settled between the pool and the beach. The beach access was so close 2 min walk and the pool was even closer! The pool was heated and had great chairs with plenty of sun! So many good places to eat also! We loved this stay and hope to come back soon!

Beautiful condo and amazing host. Only steps from the beach , pool, and intercostal.

The condo had everything any family would need for a vacation. Mrs. Boyd was an amazing host with quick response time. Everything was clean and steps away from the beach, pool, intercostal, and bbq area. You could not find a better place. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Please Upgrade C103

Very disappointed since we have stayed in other units at this property. Unit C103 is OLD. Bed was terrible, no extra sheets or pillow cases. One sliver of soap, dishwasher broken, floors and furniture dirty. No batteries in TV changers. No coffee. No handle on frig. Needs upgrades badly. We had good communication with owner during rental process but never spoke with property manager.

I’m sorry that you left me such a bad review. You stayed two nights in my unit I do not have a property manager. My dishwasher is not broken and I do not leave extra sheets or pillowcases for extra guest. I do not leave coffee, but extra batteries are always left in cabinet above refrigerator if you would have asked or called you would’ve been able to find them. You did not let me know anything about the refrigerator handle it was working when you arrived and replaced on the 18th the day you checked out. I have always taken pride about how clean my units are. Cannot recall ever having a complaint about the cleanliness of my units since I started renting in the year 2004. Sorry, Dean

Great location, Beautiful weather and less crowds than surrounding beaches.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. The accommodations looked just like the pictures. We had 4 adults in our party and the pull out sofa is NOT comfortable for adults. I think if you put kids on it they would be fine but that would be my only complaint. There are not beach chairs to take to the beach but there are lawn chairs, not what we wanted so we bought some at Publix and gifted to another family before we left. Short walk to the beach! We love this beach and will definately be back.

Thank you for the review. Sorry about the pull out sofa mattress. I did pay extra to have a better mattress than what came with it, but it is what it is. My husband and I have never enjoyed sleeping in a pull out when we are on vacation ourselves. I’ve never had a complaint about it but probably never had adults using it, mostly a child or two, but again I want to thank you for the kind review and hope to see you again. Dean

Great Location and very clean!

Great location and the condo was very clean. Our only disappointment was the bed, as it was very uncomfortable. We tend to stay at properties and hotels that emphasize comfort and the bed felt like an older base model with no pillow top or extra padding. It would have been better with a topper you buy at Walmart. Also, my adult kids met us there for the day and there was only one parking pass, which would be a problem if two couples stayed and drive separately. Other than that, the owner was lovely and very responsive during our booking. She gave me the piece of mind that the home was clean and safe during COVID which was a big desk for us.

Home away from home

Cute little place. As soon as I walked in, I felt like,"I could live here.". Neat, clean and cozy. The owner was very helpful and nice. I would stay here again.
